La bâtisse est magnifique, les chambres extrêmement confortables avec tout l’équipement nécessaire. Le petit déjeuner est plutôt bon mais comme il est géré par un food truck devant l’hôtel, il est servi dans de la vaisselle jetable. - Deb1948 (10/5): Cripple Creek B&B - What an awesome experience! Each of the lovely rooms is decorated differently and the entire house is based on when it was a county hospital. Rachel is a walking history book and delightful to speak with. The rooms are spotless and the beds are so comfy. Give it a try!

- Sven (10/5): - Rick and Rachel were so friendly and helpful. The property is an old hospital built in 1901. Each room is named for medical departments. There is a lot of old medical equipment. In no way does it feel like a hospital. It's very cozy, you get a free breakfast, and it's close to the things you'll want to do in town. We'll stay here again when we come back to Cripple Creek.

- JoyceG862 (10/5): The Best and Most Authentic Lodging Experience in Cripple Creek - We loved staying at the Hospitality House when we lived in CO, and it had been a number of years since we'd visited because we were living in other states. Now that we're closer (UT), we arranged to spend 4 nights here while meeting our son & his wife in Cripple Creek to take them to their first melodrama (highly recommend!) Wow, were we impressed with the improvements the current owners have made to this beautiful historic property! There are now keypad locks on the exterior and room doors, and the breakfast area has been moved to a larger, pleasantly decorated area which allows you to thoroughly enjoy the delicious breakfast prepared by one of the owners (Rick - thank you!!). Our room had a very appreciated refrigerator, in addition to a microwave, and the glass water carafe with matching glasses was a wonderful, inviting touch. The staff and owner were incredibly friendly and accommodating, our room was spotless, and we just can't recommend the Hospitality House enough. We're still talking about what a great relaxing getaway this was, with deep appreciation for being able to stay at this one-of-a-kind, beautifully maintained property, and every staff member we interacted with. We are aware of the glitzy new hotel casino which was recently (sadly, in our opinion) built in the middle of town, but we implore you to give yourself a lodging experience that makes you feel the rich history of this area in your soul, while supporting a small local business.

This historical building has been renovated to reflect the true character of the old west & is full of history and comfort. We were kindly welcomed at check-in, our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, the breakfast was yummy, and having a quiet escape from the casinos was perfect. This B&B’esque hotel is a must try!

The room was clean and decorated in an early 1900's motif. Plenty of porches to enjoy. Had a grill area in a shady spot with clean picnic tables.

Hotel is located of the outskirts of the town so was very quiet. Received a warm welcome on our arrival and found to be helpful with lots of information about the area. Area has lots of history of gold mining ⛏️.

- Sunshine16427585680 (6/5): No Thank You for Next Year! - Our family stays at this RV park taking 5-8 spaces each year. This year they failed to let us know that there was only going to be one shuttle running and that hours were limited to either 7/9 pm depending on the day. Not only that we had to wait for a shuttle to go down for over 1 hour. This is unfortunate because that is the only transportation we count on when going up there so we feel this should have been important information given to us at the time of our reservation. We go down to gamble and enjoy ourselves having a few drinks not having to worry about how we are going to get back. This threw a big wrench in our plans and entertainment having to worry about driving down, parking (due to a car show), and then driving back. When we inquired the front desk was less than empathetic and never apologized for not letting us know in advance. This will no longer be our family's go-to place yearly.

- TiniWiniBikini (8/5): Interesting place to stay in Cripple Creek. - Our stay at the Cripple Creek Hospitality House went well. We had the last available room with a king sized bed. It had a bathroom that was across the hallway. This was no problem at all because we rarely saw anyone else in the hallway. And we were the only people with the bathroom code so it is still private. The room was big and clean. The shower was small and clean. Linens were nice. Bed was comfortable. The included breakfast is very convenient. It helped get us moving much faster in the morning. I am a nurse and I enjoyed looking at the old wheelchairs, crutches, buggy, and bedpans around the property. I will definitely stay there again instead of the typical casino hotels.

- Tim (10/5): Perfection and comfort. Amazing stay. - We decided to stay here one night for our anniversary. We stayed in the outpatient room which is a very large suite type room with an outside entrance with a small porch and sitting area as well as an interior door entrance. It had a private bathroom with a soaking tub/shower combo and another small room with a closet. The room had 2 very comfortable queen beds and it was very clean and had beautiful antique furniture. They really thought of everything for comfort. There was a nice box fan, a space heater and an extra blanket for comfort. When we opened the windows there was a beautiful cross breeze which is so pleasant at nearly 10,000 feet. They provide tea and hot chocolate and bags of ice for free. They have picnic tables and bbq grills for use outside which is convenient. And in the morning they even have a food trailer on site where you can order a yummy breakfast entree from your room and pick it up. We got the smothered breakfast burritos. Very tasty. When we came back to our room after enjoying Cripple Creek we found a little plate of chocolate chip cookies and a happy anniversary card for us. Very thoughtful. We slept absolutely amazingly. Can’t wait to come back again. Just lovely.

- 206tedz (10/5): The historic Cripple Creek Hospital/RV Park - Campground was OK. The owners Mike and Rick treated us like family. They gave us a personal tour of the hospital/hotel. Great history from 1901 when the hospital was built. Their love for the hotel was very obvious. Extreme care was taken in the remodel to save the history of the old hospital.

What an experience!! The theme, cleanliness, staff, and food were all excellent. This is definitely a "do again".

- Heather (10/5): Charming! - I found this place very charming. We’ve stayed at some old Victorians & bed-and-breakfast that seemed possibly haunted and creepy, but this one is well done and feels very clean. We will absolutely stay here again when we go back to cripple Creek.

We were celebrating an anniversary and they went out of the way to help us celebrate including cookies and a Happy Anniversary card. We got personalized tours of the house that was a hospital in the 1800's. So much great history and stories that went along with the tour. We will never stay anywhere else when in Cripple Creek.

Antique decorated, comfortable rooms. I highly recommend a stay at the Hospitality House. I hope to go there again soon.

- pamelakZ8839AK (10/5): Awesome Place!!!!! - Everything at the Hospitality House was Amazing! Mike, the owner, was able to answer any and all questions we had! We stayed 4 days and nights, and will stay there again! All amenities were perfect...from the king sized bed, beautiful bedroom and bathroom, to the Doc's Food Truck that fixed us breakfast each morning! Liz at the food truck in the yard, was amazing also. A great cook and her personality and energy made you feel right at home. The nostalgia of the whole property made us not want to leave! We have friends in the area and they joined us for two nights on one of the porches, to play cards. What a fabulous experience!!!! I will be telling everyone that I can, about our time at Cripple Creek Hospitality House!!!! Thank you Mike, for the best experience possible!!! Mike and Pam Klotz, from Missouri.

Couldn't get anyone till morning .The staff at the Hospitality House were very concerned and helpful. This all happened on Saturday, we were lucky as there was only ONE room available ,it was great, and the shower was SUPER. We are "old style " so what has been done with the hotel is just our thing. - O6434UNchriss (10/5): Great Stay—Great Night Sleep - A slice of history with all the modern amenities. The perfect place to stay while in Cripple Creek. Stayed in the "Operating Room." Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Side note: opened the window during a thunderstorm—the breeze was amazing. And later that night, I could see the stars from my bed (also heard some coyotes in the distance). If you want to step back into Teller County's past, check it out.

- timetogarden (8/5): Don’t miss the veranda - This place has lots of character and is located in a quiet spot at the edge of town. We especially enjoyed morning coffee on the second floor veranda overlooking the front lawn.
- stephencA9035QO (8/5): Nice basic park at a great price - Great low price! Nice basic campground. It’s On the edge of town, out of the noise and hustle. We watched the 4th fireworks right from camp. There’s a food truck called docs that had good food at reasonable prices. There is not much grass or tree shade in camp spots. The spots were small with no privacy, but all RV parks are basically that way these days There are No fire rings, but we saw several people with propane fireplaces, and self contained fire barrels that they brought along with them. There is no convenience store in the park, but there is a Dollar General and a grocery store and hardware store less than a mile away from the campground. The Town is full of casinos, but not much else. No auto parts store, but there is one mechanic in town that’s highly rated. We loved visiting the old mines and the mine tours and the hiking paths.

Joanne was super welcoming, offering advice for food, attractions, and taking an interest in us as people. I would go back in an instant!!

They were welcoming, helpful, and super-friendly--the best we've ever encountered in our travels! We'll certainly stay here again the next time we visit Cripple Creek.
- Hwa (8/5): - The House is lovely. The service is outstanding -- prompt, friendly, informative, and whatever else you need. They've also worked to preserve a lot of the historical details, while still providing modern amenities. The only downside is that there isn't a lot to do nor are there a ton of restaurant options within the town of Cripple Creek (unless you're into small casinos).
