Nice quite neighbourhood even though not far from a busy road. Room was clean and had everything we needed. We arrived late and the manager met us at the door. Very friendly and helpful service.

The location was good for what we needed and was overall pretty comfy and had what we needed also. Only thing we weren’t a fan of was the mattress as it was a bit hard and we woke up sore but everyone sleeps different and she can’t help that. Good otherwise
- Jane (9/5): Great, affordable, clean and convenient place to stay - we will use again. - Terrific value for money, beautifully clean, balcony for fresh air, close to worksite and the biggest bonus was that free parking was readily available in the surrounding streets over the course of the weekend (for two cars). It would have been nice to have a wine glass to wind down at the end of the day. The crockery/glassware/cutlery is most definitely at a minimum. This was the second time we stayed here and unfortunately the door to the balcony in the apartment we had this second time didn't lock (would have been a greater comfort to know that this could be locked, particularly overnight, though I should add that we were on the top floor so it wasn't too big an issue).

- John (9/5): Leave the car at home and it is PERFECT. - Melrose is perfectly situated for travel within the city by tram, it is quiet, welcoming and exceptionally clean. Sadly the website does not elaborate on the amenity of ‘parking’ which is very much a matter of trying your luck on the road outside. Yes, there are four and two hour spaces but they are often full as you are close to public housing towers.

It even had a coffee plunger which I really appreciated. Lovely 20 minute walk into Errol Street and Lisa the host was very warm, welcoming and helpful.

- AL (6/5): Ok - Bed was comfy if a tad hard, a balcony is always fabulous., kitchen set up was good. Lots of Mouldy grout in the shower, toilet seat so loose it was nearly falling off, shower head in desperate need of a clean.

Close to Queen Victoria Market…had a great time there and also went to Brighton Beach for a nice long walk Property was great. You do need a car to get there. Very close to trolly but not noisy at all.

- Shana (10/5): - Me and my partner had issues with our flights causing me to arrive way too early. The lovely lady who owns the apartments was so kind as to already let me in a room so I could unwind a bit after a very tiring day of travel and pick up my partner afterwards. We had great chats afterwards about Australia and travelling, she also let me know which trams to take to Melbourne CBD. The apartment is very close by the tram (like 3 mins walk, 10-15mins per tram and you're in the centre). The room was very clean and had a lot of amenities (fridge, oven/microwave, cooking plate, dishes, cutlery etc.). The bed was super comfortable, airconditioning working perfect and a nice, hot shower. Honestly, one of my best stays ever, again, thank you so much for the kind gesture!

But my car was ok on the street i parked in a well lit area. Pretty sure there was secure parking available if I wasn't so late.

Mirror in the bathroom had a large crack through it which detracted from the space. The kitchen joinery was was poor quality with poor quality hinges making it difficult to open cupboard doors. Not a fan of the gold accents in the curtains and bedspread.
