Extra bed cannot be provided, maybe due to limited space in the room. Room aircon is cold despite adjusting the fan to lowest.

997abea (2/5): Nobody told me that my ID was left in Reception. - Reception asked me for my ID card/KTP when checked in at evening time. And when I checked out at around 7.30am the next day. Reception didn't give my ID card back while he gave me my folio. After checking out I visited borobudur temple and doing some outside activities the whole day in Magelang. I just realized that my ID Card is still in the grand artos's reception when I arrived in Jogja and checked in at one of 5 stars hotel in Jogja. It was so annoying because none of them called me regarding my ID. Why nobody called me???? that I still left my ID and I can pick it up. It was already more than 10 hours and nobody from the hotel was aware. I tried to call the hotel and no one picked up my call. Finally I can contact one of them thru WhatsApp's call and tell her what happened. And she just says sorry🙄🙄🙄

Ferranti23 (8/5): Overall great with improvement needed - The location is very convenient because it is next to a shopping center with variety of food and supermarket. The suite room was nice and wide. Even the premiere king room was nice. There was a variety of food provided for breakfast, but not all very good. Maybe worth to mention, it is the only hotel that provides bolsters on the bed which is a plus for me! In the suite room, the bathtub + shower was badly designed. Once you take shower while standing, the floor will be flooded. Even when you take a bath, it was quite a mess. The toilet seat is wide but the position is really weird and narrow as facing the wall.

Grace (9/5): We love the hospitality and the overall stay was worth it - We we given the mountains view rooms that are not only comfortable but gave us superb view on Merapi, Merbabu, and some other mountains. The swimming pool was clean with city view, but the wind and the water was too cold for us. The jacuzzi worked well and we could order food and drinks as well, and we used the discount voucher given when we checked in, made it even better. We found spider webs on corners of the room and one of electric water jug has broken lid. But we were fine with that, and the jug was replaced right away after I informed them.

alones2018 (6/5): family visit to magelang - the hotel condition is quite ok and located at the center of Magelang but we were suprised with CS of the hotel when informing check out time which we already noticed at the first place, and really, it is not necessary to be informed anymore coz we were planned to check out at 11.00am instead. and we felt that we were being expelled., when we need the bell boy upon check out., we were told to wait for queing, but we refused and decided to take all of the bags and luggages by ourselves., but suprisingly we saw the lugggage carts were stayed idle at the lobby unused. we do hope it wont happen to other guests and the hotel can improve the level of service to its customer. thank you
Rifky (8/5): Spacious room, could use some deep cleaning/renovations to keep up to date - Hotel location was good, on top of a mall. Good place for transit stay (Drive between Jakarta-Semarang-Yogyakarta). Rooms were spacious and window was huge. Staff was super nice and helpful. General property maintenance and cleanliness can be improved. Hotel/rooms are becoming outdated. Did not like the stairs from lobby to basement parking.

Christian (8/5): Friendly and convenient Indo-Western stay - Staff at check-in were welcoming. The breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Anin. Convenient location next to Armada Town Square (ARTOS) mall. Buffet had a nice variety of western and local dishes. The porridge and Soto were delicious , as were the eggs cooked to order. the pancakes with chocolate syrup were fun as a dessert to breakfast. Biggest issue is the sloooow elevators and lack of stairs. Only 2 cars and they had 10 floors to cover. Many conventions booked here so large groups used the elevators. I like to keep healthy by walking stairs but the stairwells were for emergency use. The buffet could have had a few more non-Indo options, and more sweets like chocolate donuts or filled croissants or ice cream. The toaster was set so low that it took 3 passes to toast a slice.

Room condition average and for free parking is quite annoying because we have to report and stamp every we want to go outside. Swimming pool bite old. Open at 6 am, they start to clean at the same time.

Some minor malfunctions in my room (602). And not necessarily hotel related but some guest are kinda rude and really loud, so i suggest anyone who read this to avoid smokin area in every floor.

Adjacent to the mall with direct access to the mall, is an additional point for this hotel. The food is a little less varied, but it's ok. I stayed for two nights with the office where I work. Overall a pleasant stay at this hotel.

The rooms are spacious and well equipped with very comfortable bed.Staff are so politely help full during the wedding especially for banquet team. YogaEfendi (4/5): Late response! Lack services! Less helpful! - Me and my guests from BMV Group Malaysia arrived at this hotel on Saturday evening (late check in) because we did a trip in some temples in Yogyakarta. Some of the guests were senior citizen. The Trip Leader was quite not happy because lack of staffs to bring the luggages. Our bus could not park in front of the hotel so mostly the guests brought their own luggages. This is lack of services. Normally in the 4 or 5 stars hotel has facility such as toilet or bathroom in the basement or parking area so that the crew (driver or co driver) could go or shower. But this hotel doesn't has it! Even for toilet! And in the next day we have program Borobudur Sunrise. My crew didn't understand why this hotel lack of facilities like this. The group has a leader from the agency , Mr. Voon Siong and he asked a simple discount for massage but the response from the manager so late, so slow response, and complicated birocrachy. No good effort from the manager or marketing or supervisor to meet Mr. Voon Siong directly, not like other hotels. The staffs also didn't really helpful. Our group didn't really enjoyed to stay here. I think this hotel is not ready for such a big group and only good for couple or Family. The best thing is only close to the mall. Absolutely need better management.
ellenpss (10/5): Great, comfortable hotel - Stayed here with my family during the Hari Raya Holiday. The hotel is strategically located near to quite a number of eateries. It is also located within the same complex of a shopping centre. The lobby has a nice spice scent & they provide hot traditional drink as welcome drink. The staff there are very friendly & helpful. The room is well equipped, and the bed & pillow are very comfortable. The braakfast has lots of variety, from traditional to western food. Highly recommended when in Magelang.

gregb23703 (10/5): Great hotel in Magelang - We were checked into our room extremely quickly which was helpful since I needed a rest badly. The check-in staff was pleasant and accommodating. Anyways, the room (Executive Suite) advertises itself as a 64sqm room, though I wasn't sure that it was quite that large. Other than that, it was very clean and spacious enough. The room had a welcome cake waiting for us, as well as fruit. The bathroom, which looks quite bland and basic, was fortunately clean. The room also had 2 toilets, which was good for us. We didn't try out the breakfast, so I couldn't comment on that. Other than that, this is a solid hotel in the area, and should be on your list if you are planning to stay in Magelang.
DavidSResponding (8/5): Good value, location and facilities - This was our second time here. So obvious we were happy the first time! :-) Plus points: Good location in the heart of Magelang. Rooms are spacious and contain everything you would expect in a corporate hotel. Hotel facilities are excellent. Good breakfast buffet, nice pool. Big plus point is that it is connected to a good sized shopping mall, with a Carrefore, lots of eating places and usual range of shops. I think it is very good value for money. Negative points are fairl small: A little impersonal (but I guess you expect that in a large corporate hotel) Only 2 lifts, which are slow, so can take quite a while to get down if you are on a high floor. Tip: Drop off your luggage at the entrance, as there is no lift and a lot of stairs if coming from the parking level. On the whole, I recommend this hotel 👍🏻😊
MWYChan (8/5): Great hotel! - The high ceilings of the lobby gave a sense of grandeur and it was such a welcome sight after a long drive in the rain. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the corridors on each floor were wider than the hotels we have stayed in. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. We loved the fact that there were several power points where we could charge our devices. Breakfast was excellent. Such a wide spread and even the venue was massive. The hotel is smack in the middle of the city. It is connected to a mall where you can get food and even pop into the supermarket to pick up local groceries as souvenirs. Only thing that we didn't quite like was the lifts because they were slow and crowded during breakfast. Otherwise, this is a hotel I would stay in again if I visit Magelang in future.

N7104ZCjamesb (10/5): This was my first time at the Grand Artos.So I wasn't sure to expect. I must say I was pleasantly surprised! - The room was very tidy, bath room amenities were plentiful. As coffee tea, and water. The workout facility was well beyond my expectation. The pool was very nice as well. I found the restaurant to be very authentic and very good. As for the staff. 10 Star! You will not pass an employee that doesn't smile and say hello. Very friendly, makes you feel very welcome. I would say yes please take the time to spend a night. Jim Brown Portland, Oregon USA

Rizky (10/5): Convenient Hotel with Very Reasonable Fare - I stayed for one night only but thoroughly satisfied with Artos Hotel. The staff at the reception was very polite and all smile. I was staying in room #503; the room was spacious and clean with sleek and modern design. Breakfast was all right although not as much varieties as I had hoped. Smooth check-in and checkout process. Most importantly, the fare was relatively cheaper compared to other 4 star hotels I've had been.
Emelie (8/5): Good place in Mangelang - We stayed for two nights in October. Overall we really liked this hotel, on the minus side is that you had pay extra for a blanket and there was no good places to sit and work. (We needed to get some work done on our computers) The service was good and the staff very friendly and helpful. The gym is great! There's a mall next doors and you can walk indoors all the way. A good place to stay if you need to visit Mangelang.
