Windows were good and let the outside noise down to a minimum. No chair or seat other than the bed, no countertop space in bathroom, light out so it was not so good to use the mirror.But really no chair to sit in after a long day of walking, I would like a comfortable chair to sit in.

Tom (10/5): Brilliant location. Comfortable and pleasant acommadation. Friendly people - Excellent base to see the sights of Rome. We were luck enough to get a room overlooking the square - which has several friendly restaurants nearby. Food was great in the ones we ate at. The room we had was excellent also - Safe in the room, coffee machine, fridge, decent size shower that worked great. Would recommend this place and if we do come back would stop here. Enrica is an absolute star We are still laughing about the lift, Its small , getting in it to travel to the 3rd floor after a few drinks was funny. Its the only downside, yet a novelty all on its own. We thought it was great - others may not think so. Theres always the stairs if you feel fit !
István (10/5): Stylish hotel in the heart of Rome - This was our second time here as we love the location, the stylish rooms and the very attentive management. It’s on the lovely market square of Campo de Fiori and the breakfast is in one of the restaurants on the square. Very pleasant rooms mixing modern elements with ancient features. The management was very flexible about check-in and check-out times, we could drop off and leave our luggage there as it suited us.
Silke (9/5): Wir würden wieder kommen ! - Bewusst ein Zimmer zum Campo de Fiori gewählt, da muss man mit etwas Lärm rechnen. Fenster waren gut isoliert falls es einem zu laut war. Tolle Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Zimmer an sich war etwas dunkel, die Beleuchtung eher etwas schwummerig.

Alice (9/5): Authentic and lovely stay in Rome! - This is a bit more like a fancy AirB&B with great cleaning service than a traditional hotel but I would 100 percent stay here again. Our room was lovely, clean and spacious. The bed and pillows extremely comfortable and touches like free water, prosecco, in room coffee and slippers did not go unappreciated! Our room was ready early on arrival after a 12 hour overnight flight which was also a blessing. The location was epic and a close walk to all attractions. The only challenge for some, might be the 77 stairs that led to our beautiful upper floor room (there are rooms on much lower floors) and there are city noises and some footsteps above- these are not issues for me as a traveler and did not interfere with a great vacay! Kate (2/5): Over rated, over priced, noisy and grubby - Good location and staff friendly Our room was ok but dark and so very noisy. Not the hustle and bustle of street noise that we expected but every night at around 11.30 until about 2am we were subjected to the loudest music and singing from what we assume, was the bar below. My sister in laws room was in the top floor, through a locked gate, right next to the cleaners station and overlooked the manky courtyard. It was dirty and damaged and she was subjected to lots of noise too. Insanely steep stairs and a lift that only takes one person or your luggage at a time. Not at all accessible for anyone with limited mobility. Very overpriced for what was provided. Also don’t arrange your airport transfers through them as they’ll try and charge more than double the local taxis and they can be easily got at the nearby taxi rank. Very disappointed considering it was rated 9.3. Would not recommend

They hotel states soundproof rooms, and while you can't hear the outside streets, the walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbors. Our only issue with the bathrooms is the shower would not drain on occasion, and the privacy is with a curtain not a door. Great hotel for location, cleanliness and convenience.

It gives you that "stay in the heart of Rome" feel. The trade-offs (room size, possible noise, simpler amenities) are the kind of things that matter less if you're spending most of your time out exploring anyway.

Victoria (9/5): Small room with a great view overlooking the Campo di Fiori. - Great location right on the Campo di Fiori. We had a room with a window overlooking the square, facing the brooding statue of Giordano Bruno. The bed was comfy and the place was tastefully decorated. The room was a bit on the small side but it was fine for our one-night stay. The ceilings were very tall so it didn't feel that cramped.

The AC was not as cold, could have been colder with allowing customers to control the temperature. Our stay was 2 nights, and they accommodated me with 1 additional person staining in our room which we really appreciated. Overall we had a great experience family of 5.

The location is ideal because it’s walkable to most major attractions including the Vatican which was just a short 20 minute walk from the property. Highly recommend this place and will likely book again if in Rome!

Andrea (10/5): Beautiful property with an excellent location - It’s near a busy square with lots of restaurants and things to do. The rooms are spacious and modern. The only two complaints is the bathroom door in our room had two beds and a glass door to the bathroom so it didn’t feel private. Also there was an air conditioning unit near our bed and the blue light on the power button was very bright and it interfered with my sleep.

The staff were really friendly and the room was spacious We didn’t sleep for 2 nights. The hotel did not inform us before our stay that there is building work going on out the front ALL NIGHT. I understand this was out of the hotels control but it would have been nice to be warned before as there was heavy duty machinery drilling through the night. In addition they say that breakfast is included, but all you get is a cornetto and a coffee.

Swagata (6/5): - The location was great - central and almost equidistant to the Vatican and the Colosseum. The piazza where it is located is vibrant and trouristy with restaurants open until 2 am. What could improve is their service - more attention and care had to be there toward their guests. They should not promise what they could not provide. They promised me two tours on a single day (Vatican & Colosseum), which ultimately were sold out, even when I was ready to pay from the outset. This led me to me having to spend hours finding those tours myself, thus delaying the process. This is a disadvantage when you are pressed on time. The good thing: I ended up getting better deals on my own. They also promised me a ride back to the airport using a third-party company without detailing anything on how the drivef would me or vice versa. I missed them and this put me in a temporary stres, though again, I ended up getting a better deal myself. Moral of the story - do not depend on anything from this place other than simply your stay. You must know that it is a guesthouse and not a full-fledged hotel, meaning there is no 24-7 reception and no provision for breakfast...two big disadvantages on a vacation trip. If you can find a regular hotel closeby, I would recommend that over this place. Their room rates are too high for the service and value, in my opinion. Other than that, the staff were fine. Enrica was a bit hard to communcate with, Livia was very nice, Flor was friendly and great.

Spacious, well-kept rooms and very clean. Friendly staff. Breakfast was included in the stay and served at the café downstairs. All in all, well worth a visit.

Van (8/5): - Location was a pleasant surprise. Hotel front entrance opens to a large square, that is home to a fun open air market every morning. Like many older buildings in Italy, the elevator is smaller than tiny, so expect to take multiple trips up if you have more than a party of two or brought more than one piece of luggage. Don't expect any hotel staff to be present to help you with your bags, which you'll need to lug up or down a few steps before and after the elevator ride. Room was large and clean. Industrial theme furnishings, which was actually kinda cool!

Paul (6/5): - Beautiful venue and location, staff excellent, and apartment spotlessly clean. Drinks available every day, clean,and fresh towels every day. We were on the third floor and there was a very precarious exit from the lift (very tight consideringit said 4 persons) to the third floor which I found very hazardous as if you missed the sideways jump to the third floor i hesitate to think what might have happened as there was a very severe drop to the second floor and all steps were very steep and concrete. Our room was ensuite (if you could call it that) bathroom was in the room, glass wall of the shower was the wall of the ensuite which had a voile curtain covering same to bedroom. Grand if your shaing with a partner/spouse but very little privacy otherwise, which I didn't find ideal. There was also a step down in the room , I presume to denote the entrance from the bedroom but no identifying highlighting marks to remind you of same and which I managed to fall off 3 times during our stay(and no not under the influence) but just because you couldn't differenciate between the 2 levels. There was only 1 chair in the room which meant 1 had to sit on the bed, which wasn't ideal either. Would I go back....to the location, yes, maybe rooms on other floors were different but I was petrified of the steps(might be an age thing, in my case) ,but I felt I had to be extremely conscious of my surroundings and environment all the time which surely should not be the priority.

Looking out over the square at night or by day with a market setup is something to behold. The industrial/warehouse style to the room may not appeal to some. For me it was something different and it worked. Also, it was a little hard to find. The downstairs restaurants are your friend here.
Peter (10/5): Nice and central with friendly staff. - The location was ideal - Campo de Fiori transforms from a vibrant marketplace to a beautiful square every day. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast at a café included. No noise from the build-up of the market, when the window is closed. There were a little too many mirrors and a little too much fragrance in the interior of the hallway - it is an old house with a “modern” interior, and to some people this may be attractive.

Edison (10/5): - It is an old building that has been restored. However, due to the type of the constrictiom they could not do much about installing a decent size elevator. It is enough for 1 person with a couple bags. So need to use the stairs a lot. Besides that the rooms are new and comfortable. Livia from the front desk was very helpful and pleasant. The location is excellent at Campo di Fiore. My room faced the piazza and we could see in the morning, the people putting up their tents for the farmer's market and at night artists singing. There are fine restaurants all around the plaza, even a movie theather. Great location and great hotel option.

Benamard (8/5): Perfect location - The best thing going for this hotel is it's location - right in Campo de Fiori. But that is not all, we found friendly staff, clean and well maintained rooms, the room size and sound proofing and very good late checkin instructions. The cons are the place is built like a maze, and the elevator is tiny. Very hard to fit anything outside of a single large suitcase (or two trollies maybe).

Takir (10/5): - Great place near everything! First of all let me start by saying that if you are looking for a quiet place in Rome. This is not the place! There is a daily market that starts around 6am to set up for the day. At night the restaurant keep the place lively and busy until 2am. If you like a vibrant place full of energy, and close to everything walking distance. Then this is the place for you. As it was for me and my family. From the momemt you check in youre greeted by Livia who's customer service is second to none. We arrived early and she was able to accommodate. A complimentary bottle of prosseco waiting in the fridge. Complimentary water daily. The cleanliness of the property and room was famtastic. I would return and book the palce again.

Jordana Martina (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at Mama's Home Rome. Livia was amazing! She was very helpful, professional, and accommodating. Me and my husband loved the ambience of the room. The location is very convenient as it's very walkable to all of the attractions. House keeping does a great job cleaning the room on a daily basis, restocking toiletries, and water! Highly recommend!
Paul (10/5): - Wonderful location, lovely hotel and the staff were very helpful always. The little restaurant downstairs where you have breakfast also punches well above its weight - great food and lovely staff! Very central location, and the market in the main piaza is nice.

Sarah (10/5): - In the middle of everywhere, there was a super cute market through the whole weekend as well in front of the hotel. The restaurants were super nice and very delicious, we only took a cab from and to the hotel. The staff was very nice, we will visit this hotel again once in rome :)
