• Rudolf (7/5): hotel is goed maar de laadpaal een probleem, - locatie, ontbijt en diner was goed Ik heb jullie uitgekozen wegens de laadpalen van mijn EV. Deze kon ik niet gebruiken omdat je de laadpas van deze provider moet gebruiken. Ik heb voor mijn reis door Frankrijke 4 laadpassen om zo goed mogelijk overal terecht te kunnen ern niet voor teleurstellende verrassingen te staan. Helaas is dit wel gebeurd en heeft mijn planning verstoord. De openbare laadpaal verder was defect, uiteindelijk de volgende morgen 60 km verder een snellader gevonden en dat was net de grens van mijn akku capaciteit. Het lokaal aanmelden voor het laden mislukte steeds. Ik raad jullie aan dit op de website van het hotel te vermelden dat je van te voren een laadpas moet aanvragen bij de provider. Ik selecteer hotels op aanwezigheid van laadpalen.

• Julie (9/5): Séjour très agréable - Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits à l’hôtel. La chambre est simple mais bien équipée, propre, spacieuse et calme durant la nuit. Le restaurant situé juste à côté offre un menu de choix. Tout était très bon ! Déco moderne avec un personnel jeune et dynamique, à l’écoute du client et au petits soins avec ma fille. Elle a adoré son séjour. (Et les sucettes) L’établissement est très bien situé, à 5min en voiture de nigloland, calme malgré la route passante. Pour nous le parking un peu étroit quand on a une grande voiture.

• Roger (9/5): Great place, good staff, good cuisine but sort out the wine offering. - Ideal first/last stop before a Channel crossing Room block, separate from the old building was modern, clean, well appointed with a walk-in shower and wonderful aspect from the window, looking over open countryside. Staff were friendly and efficient - everything worked Very little not to like but: a) as is so common in Northern France, there was no affordable quality ‘open’ wine by the glass or carafe. The only choice was 100cl ‘pointless’ glass from historically renowned regions, at €10 each or my solution: make half a bottle of very ordinary and very expensive (€24 for half) Chablis last the whole meal. The meal and occasion is totally spoiled. (The following evening in Aix-les-Bains, a 500cl carafe of excellent Savoie wine for €11.) b) it would have been nice to have met one of the new proprietors at some point (only 2 months into new ownership) and had the opportunity to give this constructively meant feedback face-to-face. We left feeling frustrated.

As we were there for two days, a little more variety on the menu could have he;lped. However, we were still able to vary what we had for the two days, and the food was excellent.

• Paul (10/5): - The hotel is lovely, the main building being very traditional, and the second building where our rooms were was clearly much newer and modern. The rooms were perfect, comfy beds and very quiet. We all had a lovely evening meal which was very reasonable. We really couldn't fault the hotel at all, the manager couldn't do enough to help us... especially with his beer recommendations!! We'd definitely be using again if we need to stay in the area

• Jeanine (9/5): Sehr gutes Preis/Leistung Verhältnis - Ein tolles, ruhiges und gut gelegenes Hotel. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und sehr sauber. Es ist einfach eingerichtet, aber alles ist vorhanden, was man so braucht. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Das Badzimmer ist zwar klein, aber es reicht völlig. Die Dusche ist gut. Sehr feines Frühstück und Abendessen mit regionalen Produkten. An der Bar kann man den Abend gemütlich ausklingen lassen. Genügend Parkplätze, zum Teil mit Ladestation. Wir werden wieder hier übernachten, wenn wir in der Region sind.

Our room was very hot (one of the warmest days of the August heatwave) with no aircon but the fan provided was helpful.

• Dennis (4/5): Not recommended!! - Easy to find, lovely grounds and parking Bathroom was poor, bedroom not much better. However, restaurant experience was terrible. Long wait for food which was poorly cooked and barely adequate when it arrived. In fact our friends walked out when the staff refused to make any change to the meal, (e.g. substitute one vegetable choice for another). And staff almost refused to give us a dessert when we hadn't initially ordered one (this condition was in the small print on the menu). No apology from the owner who blamed the computer system....always a bad excuse!

• Richard (10/5): Comfortable rooms, superb food, delightful surroundings and welcoming staff. - We have stayed here several times on our journeys to and from the south of France and it's always a pleasure to visit. My partner Sue stayed here a good many years ago with friends and the proprietors are still the same and still just as welcoming. Altogether a thoroughly enjoyable experience and one we hope to repeat again many more times in the future. Nothing not to like!!

Dinner was excellent too with a good choice of set menus from the carte. Drinking a glass or three of local champagne in the garden beforehand was great. The rooms are fine and the staff are friendly and helpful. Just nit picking here but a choice of a few more half bottles of wine would have been nice.

• Peter (7/5): Ok for one night, not for a longer stay. - Everything was ok. But also not very special or above expectations. Only the breakfast was somewhat more than average, seen many choices you could make, like good jams, lots of choices to add to muesli meals, good bread, cheeses. Can not say we don't like some aspects. But it is all rather average as said. The room is ok, buy not special. The restaurant was ok, but not above what you expect.
