Wendy (1/5): You can do better just about everywhere else in town. - There were no bedbugs, and the water was scorching hot. Filthiest hotel I have ever experienced. I couldn’t get the heat working, broken door deadbolt. I did not put anything down where the silverfish could crawl in. The screaming neighbours work me up in the middle of the night. If I did t have a sleeping kid to tuck in I would have walked and lost the money.

Dennis (1/5): Horrible - Nothing It was the dirtiest motel room I every stayed in my 68 years of living. Faucet taps had screws for handles. The bathtub had hair in it. The wood top of the heat registers were covered in filth. I definetly do not recommend this hotel for my dog. It was a discrace, I am very surprised the health inspector would allow this place to be open.

ken (2/5): - It all starts with the receptionist or desk clerk or whatever title you want to use. She was not friendly. The motel is cheap which rightly reflects the run down condition I would never stay there again
Chia (1/5): Spend a little more for a better place. Don’t recommend. - Did not like anything about my stay. Room smelled of cigarette and was very musty. Found two spiders in the bathroom. Room was quit unclean. Room had window ac but didn’t work very well. Location was sketchy, had people stay up all night just chatting. Floor board heaters were broken or exposed. Beds looks like it was broken, room was not as nice and clean as the pictures make it seemed.

Jessica (4/5): Go elsewhere if you can afford it - It's not in a terrible location in town and the staff was kind if not super helpful. It was cheap if nothing else. The room was not clean, there were bits of hair on the floor. The heater did not work at all really and neither did the TV. The beds were not great and our door & window weren't sealed well. They let in a lot of cold air. I won't stay there again.

Mary (4/5): Disappointing - The beds were comfortable. The bedding is very nice. They allow dogs. Do not stay here if the temperature is below -10C or 5F as these concrete block walls are cold!!!! The room cooled down in the time it took us to unload our luggage and then we had to wear our coats for the next 3 hours waiting for the heat to catch up. It was VERY cold outside, about -20C/-5F, so I am sure it is fine if it is warmer than that.

Bryan (6/5): - The property is in a convenient, central location. The room I had has not been properly cleaned for quite some time and it is in dire need of renovations. It is inexpensive so I guess you get what you pay for.
Verified traveler (6/5): Very low budget - Worst I've ever stayed in - I understand that low-cost hotels lack the amenities and size of more expensive hotels. However, this motel is probably the worst I have ever stayed in. The room floor had not been swept or washed (it was grimy and dirty if you rubbed your finger on it), there was used tissue paper by the bed, and the sink/toilet were dirty. There was no toilet paper in the room. They moved me to another room that had toilet paper, and the sink was cleaner, but the toilet was definitely not professionally cleaned, and the floor was still filthy. Even though worked all day with my boots on, I didn't take them off when I got back. I didn't want to make my socks gross walking on the floor. The bed was comfy, and the sheets smelled/looked clean, so that was good. No coffee/tea/kettle for any hot drinks, and the heat did not work until part way through the second night. So the first night was cold, but the 2nd night wasn't bad. I almost moved to another hotel, but I was only there to sleep. Next time, I won't stay there.
190calea (10/5): Delightful - The owners are amazing beautiful that made sure my every need was accounted for. The room decor was pleasant and homely. room size was a touch small for the duration of my stay but was no problem. I will be returning my next time I come through town!

Passport285482 (2/5): Caravan Hotel Ripped off! - Booked a room for a week. Was told 24 hr cancellation. If less than that would be charged for 1 night. Full amount was immediately charged to my credit card, NOT JUST A HOLD, TIL check in. Had to cancel. Was not refunded anything and when I called he said take me to court. Expected to be charged for one night, which he told me when I called to cancel!!! Out and out lied, charged credit card immediately and has $450 of my money!! Do not stay here, bad business in my opinion!!
35faste (10/5): Awesome - Rooms were clean, and out of 200+ motels over the yeara they were the most friendly, kind, inviting and compassionate people i have ever dealt with. Also incredibly musically talented. Would stay again and will be recommending to everyone.

allief827 (4/5): Get What you pay for - I stayed 4 nights here, it was defiantly only worth 70$ -80$ night. Clean beds , clean rooms, service was friendly. The bed broke when we were sleeping and we were told because we were to heavy , and I told the owner it was due to the bed being so old so they were going to replace it. The wifi doesn’t work In room 206 where we were. And we had to use a space heater to keep the floor warm. The owner did provide me with slippers which was very nice. But we should not have to beg for heat in a motel. Overall you get what you pay for. If you need a bed and a clean place to stay for cheap, stay here. But if your used to super 8 and other hotels like that, this is not for you.
rilskey92 (2/5): Absolutely disgusted by owner and room - Nothing in our room worked (despite the fact that we had 3 portable heaters) we had a half a roll of toilet paper between the four of us (and got in trouble when we asked for more) I would never recommend such bad hospitality to anyone.
MALIK889 (6/5): Caravan Motel in Fort St John - I rented a room on Sept 2st 2017 so I could rest. It was a low budget room that cost $70.00 plus taxes. But it was not clean. The table in the Center of the room had spots on them. The room smelt funny but the bed was well made and the bathtub was very clean. They could have done a better job at vacuuming.
michaelm307 (2/5): The worst absolute place ever. - Filthy, disgusting, no hot water and blood spray on the bathroom door. Great view of the Alaska HI way though. Go sleep in the bio hazard dumpster at the hospital, probably safer. Hair all over the room along with lint and dust. Fridge works when it wants to. I imagine hookers even boycott this place.
Chris (10/5): Indiana GIVES this place a HIGH 5 - I absolutely loved it. Private, not busy, the place allows pets (small fee), and ANYTHING I needed either manager or housekeeper saw too it. Manager did continual rounds to ensure no funny business was happening, I felt really safe for being a single foreign woman traveler. Will stay everytime!
705denc (2/5): Like everyone says don't do it - So 96% of Fort St. John is booked no where else to sleep and we have been working for 16h and didn't want to sleep in truck So no heat dirty sheets cobwebs on walls used soap in tub bugs on floor and a nasty smell we should of slept in trucks Didn't bother talking to the owner not worth my time
lindan836 (2/5): had reservations, but we refused to stay there - When we checked into the room - overflowing wastebasket had not been emptied. I checked out the bed - mattress was filthy, not just stained, but had dirt on it! We complained to man at desk he showed us another room that was just as bad, with a lamp that was broken, dirty bathroom, and again a filthy mattress. We complained again - so he literally threw his arms up and said "Fine, nothing is going to make you happy". and we got a refund.

15pats (2/5): free Wi Fi what it mean is No Wi Fi - Walked in was told that a single upstairs was $90 room downstairs was a $100.00 offerd hom $90 for downstars. He mumbled something somthing and gave it to me. The mistakesI made. He asked for my credit card I gave it to him and what he did was copy the 3 digit # from the back. Then gave me a key to my room that didn't work. The TV is a 16 inch that you couldn't turn on had to get him to fix that. When he got that he told me not to turn it off ontill I wanted to go to sleep. Now the free internet, didn't work I had to see him again and he sent his son. He couldn't get it but I could pick up the Internet from the motel next door he told me to use that. When that stopped working I called again he screwed around for a few minutes then told me it was my tablèt and that his phone didn't have a problem. He didn't know that his phone is not even using his Internet. Don't let you credit card out of your hands. I have to phone Visa and be sure he didn't charge me for what ever. Dump isn't even the word A hole would be more like it. Hope he goes broke.
278laurenm (4/5): Never again - We stayed here for two nights and had I known how awful the quality is I would have spent 15 more for a nicer place. The room was very dirty and everything was falling apart. The bathtub was missing the finish on it and looked so gross. The door to the room had been kicked in recently it appeared as the frame was broken. The people in the next room were loud and abnoxious and were swearing and fighting for hours. Never again will I subject my daughter to the environment.
pennask (2/5): A dump - Heater didnt work no hot water not fit for animals to stay in. Next night got a room in dawson creek for less that was like a palace. Would have got a better nights sleep in the back of my pickup truck in the parking lot. This place should be condemned.
DP374 (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE .. If you must, and have pets, take pictures of the room when you check out - We stayed one night, less than 10 hours in the room, payed a $50.00 pet fee and after we checked out, and were gone, we were charged an additional $200.00, for pet damage. They said our dogs destroyed the comforters and they had to throw them away, also there was pet hair in the room and a pet odor, (Go figure, if you allow pets, isn't that to be expected?!). Luckily, because my husband had a bad feeling about the place, he took pictures of the room and beds when we checked out, showing there was zero damage and the room was not in deplorable condition, so we are disputing the charge and should get our money back. It wasn't that nice of a place, it smelled, when we checked in, and we, certainly, left it no worse. Avoid this place, if at all possible!!!! We stayed at five other hotels, with our dogs, and this is the only one we an issue with.
Eric_dislikes_travel (2/5): Highly NOT Recommended - I have never, in the 20 year of traveling for my work, ever been charged an extra night for checking out of a dirty pit of a motel well before the 11:00 check out time, sure we had booked for seven days, but the false claim made on the sign that stands so proud out front of this pest infested pit advertised Wi-Fi which was non existent behind the 12" thick concrete walls of the room. The morning we checked out was ridiculous, at first there was no one at the office to help us even by 8:30 AM, when we finally we able to rouse the tending staff, they were insulted that we were checking out early, and charged us for an extra night, I guess to teach us a lesson for legally ending our stay a few days early? WFT? - At any rate, even if Fort St. John is completely booked up and if this were the last vacant place in town, I'd rather sleep in cardboard box for the night, or better yet just keep driving to Dawson Creek where we got professional service at the George Dawson Inn.
