- I5336GJlucias (10/5): Historical Provincetown Inn - We had the most wonderful time. Our hosts Eric and Kevin were very kind and accommodating, taking care of our every need. The main building was beautiful with many original features remaining intact. Kevin is very knowledgeable about this beautiful historic Inn. He even took the time to give us a private tour while telling us some of the history behind the property which started as an Inn in 1925. The view was breathtaking. We will definitely be back.

The dining room was 🙂 Our room key was malfunction so we got another room that had a clogged shower drain and NO towel bars in the tiny bathroom. Maintainence came the next day to help out to no avail The George manager gave us a small rebate for our troubles whis was great. We love it there anyway. Have been regular customers for over 20 years. New Coporate owners , hmmm not sure if they'll drive their older gay clients away .

Don't spend your money here! They charge us 650$ a night holding fee on top off an absolutely outrageous 500$ a night to stay in this dumpy crackhead of a hotel. Gross with black mold and mouse holes in the wall! Stay away! So many other nice reputable options to choose besides here. Yes it was that bad!!!!

- donna0115 (10/5): Halloween visit to Provincetown Inn - I stayed at the Provincetown Inn and I had a wonderful time there! Right from the start, the front desk, dinner staff and meal to the very end meeting the housekeeper and wished her well back to Jamaica to check on her family from the Hurricane they just had!! While sitting in the expansive lobby I met the General Manager and chatted with her for a bit! Very nice people and surroundings were very kept up! I’m told they are about to do some remodeling over the off season so I can’t wait to see the New and Improved parts of Provincetown Inn!!

Vor unserer Zimmertür saß eine Gruppe anderer Gäste, die sehr viel Lärm machten. Dass wir fast 50$ Steuern zusätzlich zahlen mussten, hätte man uns vorher mitteilen müssen.

- Loriicecastle23 (10/5): Anniversary trip - Every year we go to Provincetown for our anniversary and this year we wanted to stay at the Provincetown Inn. My husband has wanted to go her for the longest time. We were fortunate to have a room right on the water! What a great room. The location was great it was a 20 minute walk to downtown or a short cab ride. We got to meet Tyler the general manager who showed us around and told us about the renovation going on. If you’re looking for a great place to stay with water view this is the place

- AmyB0619 (2/5): No Customer Service/Loyalty - AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! (Updated after seeing Tyler/management respond to ALL Sept 2025 reviews except for mine) Unfortunately, I cannot give a true review of the P-Town Inn because despite having a reservation, they did not have space for us. 3 friends and I booked a reservation for the weekend of 9/5-9/7. Three days before our arrival, the manager, Tyler, called to tell me there was an issue with their booking agent, they had no room for us, but they would send us to the Harbor Hotel. He was extremely apologetic and asked if we would still "come back to visit the P-Town Inn" so he could treat us like queens and would be sending along a gift card. That was the last time I spoke to or heard from Tyler. Upon check-in at the Harbor Hotel, the manager there let us know they were giving us a "comp upgrade" and would touch base again with Tyler on our behalf. Our "upgrade" from a king bed with 2 twins, became a 2-double bed room. We were unclear on what made that an "upgrade" (for the SAME price we'd booked). Since our visit, I have sent e-mails to both the Harbor Hotel management AND the P-Town Inn management, as well as left a message with the staff at the P-Town Inn (we are on day 6 of no call back). What a true disappointment! We used to be loyal customers at the Harbor Hotel, having stayed there many times over the past 10 years, but unfortunately, this has left a bad taste in my mouth. Do better for your loyal customers.
- Caroline (10/5): - Right near the beach. Friendly, professional, helpful staff. Its an older hotel and i love the touches. My room has a patio, comfortable bed, and a lovely deep bathtub. Coffee and fridge in room. Location is right where the pilgrims first came ashore - its a naturally sheltered area with 3 lighthouses and gorgeous beaches. Really could not be more fantastic!

- yohava (4/5): Nothing good to say (even if I try). - Was staying in room 15. Very basic and below. Does not feel clean and was not ready for us (the pillows were without cover on the table). No outlet near the bad. Room near the ice machine that sounds like a construction site. Over all bad experience and unpleasant stay. No real service anywhere. Only positive experience was the checkout when we understood that it is behind us.

The location is beyond beautiful along with the amazing view from our room. We spent 3 wonderful nights at a very affordable value. The service was good as we enjoyed the food, the drinks and also the entertainment. Our room did not met the high standard we expected. Cherry-Ann did a phenomenal job last season over our 5 days stayed, we were anticipating to have her again this season. We love Cherry-Ann she is the best.
- AmyB0619 (2/5): Awful Customer Service - I can’t give a true review of the Ptown Inn because, despite having a reservation for our recent weekend visit (9/5-9/7), we received a call from Tyler 3 days prior to our arrival, letting us know they had no space for us, and would send us to the Harbor Hotel. Tyler was extremely apologetic and assured me that he’d treat me “like a queen” when I come back to visit, confirming my email address to send a gift card to me for the inconvenience. This was the last time I ever heard from or spoke with Tyler. Upon our check in at the Harbor Hotel, the manager there let us know he was giving us a “comp upgrade” and would call Tyler on my behalf about the lack of follow up. Our original room was a king and 2 twins. Our “upgrade” was to a room with 2 double beds ….. clearly a downgrade. In the past 2 weeks, I have sent two emails to the accounts for both hotels, and am on day six of no call back from Tyler. This is highly disappointing. We have stayed at the Harbor Hotel many times over the past ten years, but unfortunately will look for a a new go-to place in Ptown. They should value and treat their loyal customers much better! A truly disappointing customer service experience …..

She was cold and aloof. She barely looked at us and never smiled. She made us uncomfortable with her disdainful affect. - dennis (6/5): Great view, barely acceptable comfort. - Anyone under like 45 will be okay with the room and facilities for a place of this kind. The older you get the more you'll notice the dirty floor, lumpy bed, horrible pillows, a barely functioning remote. On the plus side, the pool is fun and the view is amazing. And the location can't be beat(unless you want to be closer to center of town, which is a 20 min walk). Overall the next time we'll spend a little more and get something nicer and more comfortable.

- sherylmR9281CK (8/5): Nice location and good food. - Great location in a richly historic Inn. We had a good time and also a huge disappointment at the Provincetown inn. This is our second time staying at this establishment. We had a balcony room with the view of the bay. Beautiful views and we could see two lighthouses and the Pilgrim Monument from our balcony. Last year we met Cherry-Ann the most amazing housekeeper ever. Our room was cleaned daily which was nice due to the amount of beach sand we brought back in. Unfortunately that service was not offered to us this season and that was a disappointment. We miss her because she took the time to ensure every aspects of our room met her high standards. Cherry-Ann provided exceptional customer service in promptly handling our requests during our stay last year. Went to enquire with Tyler the GM as to why Cherry-Ann was absent from the team this season, however we were told he wasn’t in office. The front desk people were friendly and we enjoyed the food especially breakfast.
- ItsReal (4/5): Horrible Inn. Total Disappointment - I've never done a review before. I am compelled to do so with the total disappointment I felt upon my arrival. Walking in the Inn was dark with a bucket catching the water leaking from the ceiling. Our "first" room was just gross. There were spiders on the wall along with dead mosquitoes and the wood around the windows rotting. We switched rooms only to get one where the bathroom door did not close nor did the window in the bathroom. I found an ant wondering in the bed along with sheets that had dried up blood spots. The door leading to the parking lot did not lock. Anyone can enter the Inn at any time. Every time I went to the front to speak with someone no one was around nor could be found. The pool with a swim up bar is not that of the Inn but a municipal pool open to the public. They advertise 3 restaurants. There was 1 and it was dark, dreary and smelled like a basement. The staff was rude. We spent a lot of money to stay here and it was an absolute awful experience and I couldn't wait to get the heck out of there. Had we lived closer I would have checked out immediately!!!

It’s a very special place to us. We are both sun chasers and we enjoy watching the explosions of colors that come on the horizon every day. Wishing that one of the receptionist was more welcoming. The majority of the staff were very friendly. One definitely needs to see a smiley and inviting face at the front desk to check in and out.That wasn’t the case for us
- wevacaes (8/5): Best location for family and friends. - This is our third stay at the Inn, we returned because of the exceptional housekeeping service provided last season by Cherry-Ann. A very professional individual that performs A-Class customer service that makes you never want to leave your room. From her neatly made bed, to her towel presentation, not to mention how refreshing and spotless our room was. It was such a disappointment learning she wasn’t at the Inn this season. Our room ratings would be a 5/10, the view 10/10 as always, location 10/10, new staff 5/10, the food I would say 8/10, the entertainment 8/10, the pool 10/10, the lobby upgrade 10/10. We might return next summer if Cherry-Ann is back. For an employee that is so dedicated and experience, she should be promoted, recognized and remain apart of the staffing team every season because her work speaks volumes.

There were some upgrades and new faces also. The perfect location for our family along with the beautiful view from our rooms. The food has gradually gotten better and also the vibe at the pool. Few of the staffs were friendly while some seem inexperience and uncomfortable. Our room was poorly prepared with missing amenities. Last summer we had Cherry-Ann, I remember her name clearly because she was very active and engaging. Her service was impeccable. I had a huge accident in our room last season and she was quick to help and resolved the situation in a timely manner. We appreciate you Cherry-Ann our star girl. Disappointed much but looking forward to see you next summer.

Tyler, the general manager is very attentive and accommodating to all guests. Each year I return to Provincetown I look forward to arriving at the Provincetown Inn knowing I will have great accommodations and be welcomed by a very attentive gracious staff!

- stevenmX5578NN (8/5): Requesting Cherry-Ann return, beautiful view - My husband and I were happy to spend our wedding anniversary at Provincetown Inn due to the amazing service we received last year from few of the staffs especially Cherry-Ann. It was a total disappointment for us this season as she wasn’t around. We met her last year, couple hours before our wedding and she executed the BEST service ever along with a note extending her best wishes, which was so beautiful and appreciated. We felt the warm welcome from the staffs but being at Provincetown Inn this year felt empty without Cherry-Ann’s warm smile, her dedicated service and how helpful she was. As regular visitors we request to have Cherry-Ann return as her service is next to none.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Rude front desk staff - I like what the provincetown inn has to offer, spacious rooms compared to the bnbs of ptown, though of course it's more dated than the bnbs. The downside is that the staff at the front desk tend to be rude and dismissive, particularly if you've booked with a 3rd party like hotels.com instead of using their website, which is of course, always offering the most expensive rates. In general, the rooms I've stayed in have been decent, except when I've been put in a first floor room that has rooms above it. You can hear everything from the people stomping around upstairs and the front desk people simply shrug their shoulders.

- Jebal (1/5): Gigantic rip-off - DO NOT STAY HERE - Our room was cleaned once during a 4 night stay, despite costing 300+ dollars per night The room was overall decrepit and lacked even the most basic upkeep: - cracks and holes / remnants of stickers etc on walls - cracked / uneven bed that leaned downwards towards headboard - broken and unattached flooring - mould and no fan in the shower - cracked shower flooring - bird poop all over the balcony that had not been cleaned in ages - huge gaps in floor heating vents, from which spiders and other bugs were coming and going - extremely loud and not very functional AC unit - no beach towels We did not meet the anyone but the staff at the front desk, but that was not a nice experience. We had to request a room change starting

- Florentina (6/5): - The property is historic, it is well placed in a good area, the outside and lobby areas are nice. The bathroom was not clean and also very old and dingy. It absolutely needs a total renovation. It was redone in a very pore and cheep fashion. The housekeeper was very nice, some receptionists very nice and some of them really nasty. Very noisy, door were slammed and you could here all your neighbors talking in their rooms. Maybe more isolation in the walls and a slow closing mechanisms for the doors necessary.

- H5758BStl (8/5): Scenic view, easy parking, good food - Firstly, is it that Provincetown Inn doesn’t appreciate employees that are dedicated, experience and knowledgeable to their job?, because Cherry-Ann was obviously replaced. Secondly we enjoyed the scenic view from our room, but unfortunately the service provided by the replacement housekeeper was a knock off compared to the high standard services Cherry-Ann would have rendered. Few of the staffs were friendly, however some were new with zero knowledge of simple directions within the hotel. This is our 3rd stay at the Inn and mixed emotions are some of the few words to describe our stay. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and the vibe at the pool. I must commend the management on various updates such as the lobby, the reception area etc. We appreciate the updates but NEVER replace a staff that is outstanding, a staff that is appreciated for her expectational services. Finally To the GM: as loyal visitors we will return next summer and so should Cherry-Ann.

The rooms and property are run down and you’ll be paying a PREMIUM to stay.. majority of the hotels in Ptown are owned and run by a large Real Estate company - they have turned Ptown into a 3 day stay and no longer a week+ by severely over charging for the product they deliver. Don’t get me started on the “cabanas” that they charge $150-$300 to sit in. They we likely $100 on Wayfair and are EXTREMELY uncomfortable… might as well just sit on the metal bars without the “cushion”. It’s extremely sad and discouraging to be somewhere and feel like you’re being financially taken advantage of.

Smoking is permitted on the premises so we had smokers on either side of us including two ladies who sat outside their room and smoked all day. The staff were friendly and welcoming, we enjoyed the food, the pool and the amazing view. Our only complaint was the fact that Cherry-Ann, the most outstanding housekeeper to ever grace Provincetown Inn was absent from the staffing group, which we considered a poor decision from the management team. We appreciate all the staffs that made our stay, however NONE compare to Cherry-Ann. Her room presentation is remarkable. To conclude it all we had a good stay but it would have been better with the amazing room services provided by our favorite housekeeper Cherry-Ann.

Black mold all over the bathroom ceiling, extremely dirty, one front desk person was constantly on her cell phone with a bad attitude, no ironing board but there was an iron. When I requested a board twice one was dropped off but it was ripped, filthy and dusty, and broken. It didn’t stand on its own so I had to put it on the bed. There was barely any plug access, gum on the rug, and over all the room was dirty but the bathroom was just unacceptable. When I text the front desk about my concerns there was no response. Additionally, I took photos of the black mold all over the ceiling for reference if anyone needs to see them. I was excited for the new ownership but it looks like the reno money went to moving the front desk instead of hygiene.

- Svetlana (6/5): - The location is convenient, close to the beaches and to downtown by bike or walking. There is plenty of parking space. We stayed in standard king room for 3 nights. It was small and outdated with roof view. Room was expensive and absolutely not worth it. A shower was small, old, had crack in plastic wall and not well fitted door. The room cleaning is once in three days with supply on demand. We asked for the room upgrade with ocean view; the manager told us he has the room; latter we were told that “something happened” so the upgrade never happened…. no further explanation. We are not planning to stay in this hotel in the future.

- Sharon (2/5): - The property looked excellent; our room was clean, and a free shuttle was given between downtown and the hotel, but it was the room location we were put in that lacked. The woman at the desk put my 77 year old friend and I (aged 79) in a room between two rock concerts, which didn’t get over with until 11:20 pm. This was on a Monday night, not a Friday or Saturday. No notice was given that we would be next to rock concerts. Plus, we had to lift our luggage up stairs to get to our room. Thankfully, a kind man helped us with our luggage. There were other rooms that could have been given, but the girl at the desk made a remark about our booking was through a third party.

She had a million things going on at the Front Desk and she still was able to make me feel more important than I am... I don't know if she knows it or not but that kind of exceptional reception stays a long time in the psyche of the guests.

The walls were paper thin so we heard everything…and I mean EVERYTHING. It’s by the water and that’s the only thing it had going.
- Fitguy (6/5): Sadly, the breakfast buffet is gone! - I stayed at the Provincetown Inn last night and this has been probably been my 25th time staying here over the years. It has been remodeled, yet still has the old character from before which makes it very unique. The room was comfortable and clean, and I think we may stay there again. There is one major disappointment now there that I must complain about- they have got rid of the small, yet very adequate breakfast buffet. Breakfast is currently served in the lounge and it was underwhelming, unorganized, understaffed, the room is dark, and very disappointing compared to the breakfast buffet that was served in a bright banquet room, and they always had a decent staff working there. A huge letdown considering with the buffet you could serve yourself and it was always a very nice experience.

- LorreW (10/5): Wonderful as always! - We have stayed at the Inn pretty much every year for 25+ years. It’s always been fantastic and we loved the shabby chic atmosphere. But it’s been spruced up this year and it’s even better. The murals and the rest of the DNA are the same but the upgrades to rooms, lobby, pool and public areas are notable. The real star is the setting, we always face the breakwater, our rooms were comfortable, we had a few rooms, Shaq and Arina were outstanding getting our parties situated. Two weeks next summer, can’t wait to be back!

The highlight of any visit to the Inn is its extraordinary setting at one end of the breakwater and overlooking the mesmerizing marsh and dunes beyond. The pool was its usual buzzing fun scene. A particular note on the new management and staff. Now very professional and a special shoutout to Shaq and Arina who were amazing. They worked so hard to make very complicated arrangements a reality for us. They went way above and beyond all expectations. All in all a glorious stay in one of our favorite places in the world.

- Diep (8/5): - The location is great by beach. There’s a free shuttle to the wharf and sister hotel Harbor Hotel. There’s free piano bar live music and singing on Saturdays. It was a fantastic show. The pool was crowded. The hotel is dated but the bathroom products were very nice, including the lotion. The bed was ok but the pillow could be softer. It’s a quick walk to the Provincetown Causeway to hike on the rocks over to Wood End Lighthouse. You should wear shoes as the sand is very hot on the other side and bring water.

- 499irinaw (8/5): Cherry-Ann is a star ⭐️, splendid view, enjoyed our stay. - A time was had for our family vacation, the view was spectacular, the sun bath, the food, the updates to the lobby and the vibe at the pool. Our second stay at Provincetown Inn and we definitely returned because of the view from our room and the exceptional service provided by Cherry-Ann last summer. Yes we got the view, but unfortunately she was absent and that was a huge disappointment for us as she is our gem. We did appreciate the friendly staffs and the warm welcome, but Cherry-Ann is our favorite, she’s an outstanding housekeeper. She works swiftly with proper time management which we admired so much. Imagine spreading a bed in less than 2 minutes. For such a dedicated and graceful staff, Cherry-Ann truly deserves the recognition and praise for a job well done. I wish her all the best in her future endeavors as she’s also a brilliant young lady. We would also love to see her next season. We had a good stay until next year Provincetown Inn…..

We spent several nights at the Inn as this is our 5th stay here. The food has gradually been improved, the service from the reception was welcoming, love the vibe at the pool and parking was smooth as always. Our only disappointment was the service received for our room. It was poorly done and we had to asked for towels twice. Last season we had a housekeeper by the name of Cherry-Ann she was filling in for another housekeeper. Cherry-Ann performed the BEST service we had ever received since visiting the Inn. A very dedicated housekeeper that goes above and beyond and it was evident from the looks and feel of the bed, to her towel design and how welcoming the room felt. We went to ask the GM of Cherry-Ann but unfortunately he wasn’t around. For such a top tier employee that performs quality service, we were looking forward to see her. Would have given a 5 star if Cherry-Ann was there but 4 is fair enough.

- Verified traveler (4/5): I don’t think I will ever go back - We had one of the worst experiences checking in. First there was no receptionist at desk when we arrived had to wait for someone. Then we didn’t get the room that we knew we asked for. As soon as she said you booked through a 3rd party I knew that was going to be trouble. When got to the room they gave us I was on phone with hotels. Com and that was aggravating and the issue was not taken care of. The women who was in charge of housekeeping went to front desk and got us changed to the room that we asked for. She was great! Also you pay a resort fee and come to find out the pool is open to the public and the facility with no charge may I say more. THE PRICE IS UNBELIEVABLE TO STAY THERE. Also this is 2nd time I’ve booked through hotels.com and didn’t get room I asked for.

Bagno piccolo, maniglia della doccia instabile. Abbiamo scoperto in loco che non sarebbe stata effettuata la pulizia giornaliera della camera, se non a pagamento (informazione mancante su Booking). Piscina sporca e bar a bordo piscina chiusi. Spiaggia non tenuta e malmessa. Nessuna sicurezza: ingresso della struttura aperto tutta notte senza nessun controllo (“le porte sono rotte”). Ho già segnalato tutte queste problematiche a Booking durante il soggiorno. Attendiamo risposta

Great txt reminders from the hotel about our room being ready earlier, breakfast hours, check out info. Great booking experience with Expedia that kept us posted about our stay.
