- Debbie (6/5): Highs and lows - Decor roll top bath extra king-size bed breakfast Was disappointed in the dinner we went on a Sunday and when fir a Pacific item on midweek menu didn't realise Sunday was different we had Sunday dinner here before and it was exceptional but this dinner was not pork belly was cooked terribly which was disappointing as the food is normally excellent here 😢

- HARMINDER (9/5): Great staff and food . Made to feel very welcome . - Good location with a nice restaurant , very good size bathroom and bedroom Didn’t like having to carry luggage through the main restaurant and bar . Found the room quite dark and no real view .
- Helen Jordan (8/5): - Staff were lovely The access stairs to the bedrooms were very steep and narrow. Difficult to negotiate with a suitcase. We ordered evening meal at 7pm got food 8pm but the restaurant was comfortable so it was fine and food was good. Huge spiders in the room but that is difficult to avoid in a country hotel. All in all we enjoyed our stay the staff were lovely.

- Stephen (10/5): Very welcoming - Very dog friendly location Nothing
- Anastasia (9/5): Great stay with no connection - Amazing shower, comfortable bed, good food, very helpful staff, convenient parking Wifi is disastrous. It sometimes worked, but not suitable for work or any route planning. There is no mobile connection as well.
- Sarah (10/5): Excellent stay! - Lovely village, beautifully decorated room, tasty food!
- David (10/5): Food was incredible - Very clean
- Jean (10/5): - Everything Can't honestly think of anything
- Martin (9/5): -
- Ailsa (10/5): Fabulous accommodation and staff, we will be back soon. - Beautiful, warm and welcoming hotel. Food fabulous and room of a very high standard. Linens, towels and toiletries excellent quality. Staff delightful and Trevor as welcoming as always. We stayed 2 nights and our room was cleaned and everything topped up and refreshed for our second night. Attention to detail was fantastic. Pre ordering breakfast was great and nothing ever felt like it was too much trouble.
- Alison (10/5): -

- Joyce (10/5): - The walk in shower, the bed, the comfy chairs, the view - and the food! Amazing chef. All the staff were outstanding and super helpful. The conservatory and breakfast rooms are great. Somewhere to hang or put clothes would be helpful and the toilet was a little low.
- Robyn (9/5): - Lovely location; fabulous pub. Breakfast was gorgeous. Best smashed avocado I’ve ever had, really tasty. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Bedroom was great size and they’d already out a fan in for the warm weather when we arrived The bedroom could just have done with some refreshing of the decor that’s wear and tear but otherwise gorgeous rooms!
- Christina (10/5): Will return for sure. - Great staff, very good service and fabulous breakfasts. Nothing
- Hazel (9/5): Excellent - The Northumberland is a gastro pub with lovely well equipped bedrooms. It is located by a river in a small village, close to the A1. We had dinner and breakfast, both of which were excellent. The dinner menu was missing a couple of lighter options, particularly during this very hot weather.
- Arthur (9/5): -
