- Sandra (9/5): Tolle Unterkunft mit außergewöhnlichem Frühstück - Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit einem tollen Blick, nettem Personal und einem außergewöhnlichen Frühstück. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten von Santa Teresa sind fußläufig sehr schnell erreichbar.
- Cgama (8/5): Séjour d'une semaine - Le personnel et les gérants sont très aimables et disponibles. Le petit déjeuner est fantastique ! Le cadre est magnifique et la présence des petits singes rajoute une touche de magie au séjour. Le manque d'insonorisation dans la suite gingembre, on entend tous les bruits de la rue pavée qui passe devant et les aboiements des chiens voisins toute la nuit comme si on était dehors. Il manque un plateau de courtoisie dans la chambre avec du thé et café à disposition en dehors des heures d'ouverture du petit déjeuner. Les toilettes ne sont pas isolées du reste de la chambre, seule une porte en verre flouté les séparent du reste de la pièce, mais qui ne ferme pas jusqu'au plafond, donc aucune intimité a ce moment là... Et on est obligé de tenir la porte avec notre pied car elle ne tient pas en position fermée.
- Jana (10/5): - Der Ausblick und der private Pool (der Pool für alle Gäste sah ebenfalls fabelhaft aus) waren einfach wunderbar. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls liebevoll zu bereitet und am Tisch serviert. Die Ausstattung war den Bildern entsprechend. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt! Mit ein paar Minuten Gehweg ist man an schönen Restaurants und Bars. Das Bett war super bequem und für die Gepäckaufbewahrung gab es auch eine super Lösung, es wurde sogar eine Umkleide mit Dusche zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Unterkunft hatte ein verhältnismäßig strenges Regelwerk, essen und trinken in bestimmten Bereichen erlaubt, Gäste müssen angemeldet werden...vllt braucht es das damit es so überaus ordentlich bleibt aber es wirkt erstmal abschreckend.
- Maren (6/5): Unterkunft top, Personal flop - Hotel wirkt von außen top, innen Flop! Leider machten wir mehrere unschöne Erfahrungen! Das Hotel wirkt schon, der Service der Inhaber ist aber an Unfreundlichkeit nicht mehr zu überbieten. Wir kamen um 13 Uhr ins Hotel, checkin war um 14 Uhr und legten uns an den Pool, um die Zeit zu überbrücken. Hier war außer uns niemand! Der Inhaber kam zu uns und machte uns eine Ansage, dass wir gefälligst nur zwei anstatt vier Liegen nutzen sollen und wir den Pool noch gar nicht nutzen dürfen, da checkin erst nach 14 Uhr ist! Wir lagen 5 Minuten auf den Wasserliegen und nochmal: außer uns war niemand am Pool! Beim Frühstück wurde das Personal vor allen Gästen angeschrien, dass sie unfähig seien und der Inhaber hat alles möglich verbessert zb die Serviette um 3mm verschoben. Pünktlich um 11 Uhr haben wir das Zimmer verlassen und legten uns, bis zum Abflug, an den Pool. Hier war außer uns niemand. Dann kamen die Inhaber zu uns und wollten ernsthaft 120 Real pro Person, da wir den Pool noch nutzen! Das ist an Dreisigkeit nicht mehr zu überbieten und reinste Abzocke! Nochmal: das Hotel ist sehr schön, aber die Inhaber versauen alles daran! Ein Boutique Hotel sein wollen aber Service stimmt null!! Sowas haben wir noch nie erlebt, schade. Wir würden es nicht mehr buchen!

- Andrew John (9/5): - We had a great stay at Casa Geranio. We loved the view from the pool, the wonderful breakfasts and the friendly staff. We enjoyed walking up into Santa Teressa and being close to the bars in Lapa. Would definitely come again. In the lower room you can hear the classic tram and some cars from the street starting early morning, but it’s part of the neighborhood vibe and at around 21:00 it was quiet again and didn’t really disturb us.

In dieser kleinen Oase kann man dem hektischen Treiben entfliehen und sich nach einem anstrengenden Tag erholen. Claudio und sein Team sind einfach perfekt und man fühlt sich rundum zufrieden. Jeden Tag gibt es ein anderes, frisch zubereitetes Frühstück, welches einem bereits den Morgen versüßt.

- Anouk (10/5): Prachtig hotel met heerlijk ontbijt - Het is een prachtig hotel waar je goed tot rust kunt komen. Het ontbijt is heerlijk en zeer uitgebreid. De kamers zijn smaakvol ingericht.
- Laura (10/5): - Super Lage und sehr freundliches Personal (auch wenn sie manchmal etwas schwierig zu finden sind). Am Pool gibt es kostenfrei Handtücher für die Liegen und beim Frühstück wird sich wirklich jeden Tag aufs Neue viel Mühe gegeben, es gibt immer andere Süßspeisen, Säfte und andere Tischdeko. Für meinen Partner wurde sogar extra Glutenfreie Brot besorgt, nachdem sie am ersten Tag mitbekommen haben, dass er normales nicht essen kann.

- Caroline (10/5): A jungle paradise hidden away in the coolest suburb in Rio - Everything! It is obvious how much care has been put in to the property, the service and its maintenance. Claudio and Gabriel were incredible hosts, so kind and caring and keen to ensure we had the best stay possible. We stayed in the Carioca suite which was incredible, beautifully designed and a real retreat. We loved the private plunge pool and the amazing views from so many angles. The location itself is very special — Santa Teresa is a really special place, and Casa Gerânio is nested in the beautiful jungle hill within in. The breakfast was also AMAZING, and they were able to cater for my food intolerances without me feeling like I was missing out. All the staff were also so eager to help and ensure we were well looked after.

Ich war so froh, dass ich dieses bezaubernde Hotel gefunden habe. - Die geschmackvolle Einrichtung der Zimmer, die wunderschöne Außengestaltung des Frühstücks- und Poolbereiches. Die liebevollen Details. Die Herzlichkeit der Angestellten. Das abwechslungsreiche liebevoll angerichtete Frühstück. Dass es keine Möglichkeit für Snacks zum Abend gibt. Es wäre schön, wenn es wenigstens ein paar typisch brasilianische Kleinigkeiten im Angebot geben würde. Aber schlimm ist es auf keinen Fall, weil es genug Restaurants in der Nähe gibt.

- Jeanne (10/5): - Petit oasis en plein cœur de Santa teresa, vue magique depuis la terrasse de la chambre et la piscine, végétation luxuriante, déco soignée, petit déjeuner somptueux préparé minute et qui change tous les jours, délicieuses caïpi… On aurait aimé poser nos valises ici ! Santa Teresa est un super quartier mais la rue étant très calme le soir, il faut prendre des uber pour tout déplacement la nuit tombée, parfois ils ont du mal à arriver.

- Tanya (10/5): - The property is a wonderful boutique hotel located in the heart of Santa Teresa . The beds are comfortable and there is a lot of thought and intention behind the design of the casa. The staff was extremely wonderful. Astrid was welcoming and always going out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Claudio was always checking in on us and helping answer our myriad questions and giving us the best recommendations on where to go. The breakfast at the hotel was great too- they provided us fresh fruit, smoothies and homemade pastries. Would highly recommend staying here

- Reabetswe (9/5): - Great location although not in the tourist areas, we loved the location and how unique and artsy it was. Really easy getting around with uber anyway. The room was also really amazing with an amazing view and pool overlooking the main pool area. Truly a view to die for. The breakfast was different each day with some amazing homemade cakes. The owners and the staff were really friendly, attentive and incredibly helpful.

- Evelyn (10/5): Absolutely perfect - This is the most beautiful place to stay! We enjoyed it so much, we felt safe and everyone was so nice. The owner helped us so much because the airline lost one of our suitcases. He contacted them while we were explaining the city. Thank you so much again. He also gave us so many good recommendations, and whenever we had questions, we could write to him. We absolutely can recommend this beautiful place and I hope we come back one day.

A decoração é perfeita, elegante, leve, alegre. Tem uma vista incrível!!! Perfeito pra quem quer explorar Santa Teresa sem pressa... E o café da manhã é uma experiência deliciosa!!!

Os funcionários da cozinha: Luiz, Ana e Maria, muito simpáticos e prestativos. O funcionário que nos recebeu, apesar de ter muita boa vontade, nos pareceu mal treinado. O secador de cabelos disponível no banheiro era extremamente fraco e pouco funcional. O colchão e travesseiros pouco ergonômicos.

- Jeroen (9/5): Lovely and picturesque: perfect to celebrate our wedding anniversary. - Casa Geranio is a wonderful boutique hotel, in a beautiful old villa nestled against a steep hill. The rooms are situated around a well kept garden. Breakfast is a treat, with fresh fruit, fruit juice and homemade cakes every morning. Due to its hillside location and the many steps and stairs, this location will be less suitable for people with limited mobility.

Es stimmt alles, wunderschön eingerichtet, Traumpool mit Ausblick, umfangreiches Frühstück jeden Tag etwas anderes, wundervolle Gastgeber, sehr guter Service und tolle Lage. Es bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Ich habe mich die ganze Zeit rundum wohlgefühlt. Nur dass ich wieder abreisen muss :)
