Voyage53493957370 (8/5): Training at UVA Wise - It is a beautiful historical inn. Very clean well kept. The bathroom was large and plenty of hot water. The only complaint I have is for the amount we paid for the room, breakfast was very meager. On the second day there wasn’t much to choose from. Iwas told there had been an issue I don’t know what tit was if breakfast had been better 5 stars for sure. It really is a beautiful hotel with a lot of history. Staff were very friendly. Thank you all.

Went above and beyond and allowed free space to decorate for our 18th birthday party. Hands down best event space in Wise County, VA. Had multiple areas to decorate and working with local food catering made our event beautiful.

Breakfast was meager — less than what you’d get in a budget hotel. No decaffeinated tea bags after the first night (there were only three the night we checked in). Was told they were out.

During my last two visits, Kadence was at the desk. She is a very sweet young lady. It's always good to see her and the rest of the staff.

We had a king bed, with actual windows that looked like home instead of hotel windows. We had a nice view of the city. The bed was comfy. The breakfast was ok, but it was free. Sausage links, scrambled eggs, fruits, cereal, muffins, toast, yogurt, juice, waffles. I'm more of a bacon, biscuits and gravy girl though lol. It was within walking distance of a few restaurants. They had parking right there too. Staff were super friendly. The price couldn't be beat!!! I can't think of anything I didn't like.

My sister and I were on our way back from a 12 day sister vacation, and took a chance on this hotel. It was so clean, comfortable, and cozy. Rich in heritage, pictures on the walls, so affordable, I think we paid $90 for a night. We so wished we could have stayed longer. Don't pass this one up, and check out the local area, quite a few things to do.

Sliphorn (10/5): The Usual Nice Stay - I stay here on my way South for business and am very pleased that I had found it. This is my fourth time to do this and it always delivers. The staff is friendly and helpful and the place is clean. It is an older hotel so things are not modern, but all my needs are met. Since the restaurant on site is not in operation yet, they furnish a nice breakfast and I had a waffle that was good. It is a larger hotel so there are always rooms available. This is a quaint little town that I have fallen in love with, also. There are three restaurants and now I have tried them all. They have rockers on the front porch for wehn the weather cooperates. I will always stop here on my way to from the South.

I307JKalexa (10/5): The Inn at Wise: A True Hidden Gem! - My husband and I made it our mission this summer to visit overlooked parts of VA. This trip, we found ourselves in Wise... a town with a Main Street straight out of a hallmark movie! The room was wonderful, but the staff are what made this hotel review-worthy. This was evident from the moment we arrived, when their cheery groundskeeper offered to help us with our bags. Their manager on duty Luke (a professor from the town’s college!) checked us in early, recommended local dining and hiking, and even took a photo of us with his Polaroid camera! All weekend, he was there at the desk with a smile… a paragon of hospitality! We must have chatted with him for over an hour! Our last night, we overlooked Main Street sipping wine while 80s music played on the overhead speakers… just divine! Suffice it to say, we will be back!!

celestaw2023 (10/5): Best place in Wise!! - We had a great one night stay! The room was clean and quite. The best feature of this hotel is the balcony over the front of the hotel, a perfect place to read, have a cup of cofee, and take in Wise. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It’s a must stay in this cute town!!

Cindy (8/5): One night stay - We have stayed here a couple times to meet up with family. Quaint little town. Easy walking to a grocery store, coffee/ice cream shop and to a couple restaurants. Positives. The service desk attendants were very nice and allowed us to check in early. The King room, with sofa, was very spacious. The complimentary Breakfast was very good as there was a good selection of breakfast items, and the attendant was very active ensuring the items were not depleted. Large dining area available. Negatives. The room could have been cleaner as the comforter and mattress cover needed washing, the bathroom needed sweeping, and there was hair on the shower door. The Keurig did not work, and the bed was a little too firm. Overall, we enjoy staying at the Inn and would recommend staying here.
