• Janetma51 (10/5): - Such a warm welcome from the hostess who helped us with our luggage! It's a lovely old building with good modern facilities and a beautiful dining room overlooking a pretty terrace and garden. There's also a nice lounge on the first floor. Easy parking too. We loved our room on the second floor with its fabulous walk-in shower. The star of the show is the restaurant with truly exceptional delicious food and super helpful staff. Magic. Nothing to dislike. Worth remembering, for aged guests like ourselves, that there is no lift, but staff are so helpful that we had no trouble with luggage. We would have liked a kettle in the room but it didn't matter because there was a kettle for tea in the lounge.

In de badkamer een ligbed en een douche. Bed is van een geweldige kwaliteit, ruime kamer en supervriendelijk personeel die in het Engels kan communiceren.

He kindly drove the car home and loved the stay, it was easy to get a bus into Nancy & he loved visiting there in the afternoon after parking the car at the hotel. He had a delightful meal and he said the room was full of lovely touches with the furniture and large and spacious. A fantastic bathroom with a huge bath and shower. The staff were great.

• otto (10/5): voortreffelijk - we komen telkens weer terug omdat we de kok zo goed vinden, helemaal omdat hij zo lekker vegetarisch kan koken/ Ook komen wij steeds terug omdat de bediening zeer vriendelijk is. Ook de locatie, de tuin. Geweldige plek. niets is tegengevallen. Toch zou het handig zijn als er een klein koelkastje/ minibar zou zijn.

• R.E. (9/5): Charmante B&B, waar men zich direct thuis voelt en onze teckel ook! - De ligging dicht bij autoroute, maar heel stil en in een mooi park. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Parkeren naast het smaakvol ingerichte huis. Het diner is altijd een feestje, wel prijziger dan vroeger. Volop keuze bij het mooie ontbijt. Wij komen hier al jaren na volle tevredenheid; nu voor de eerste keer in kamer met minder lekker bed dan gewend bij le Clos. Wel alles charmant ingericht. Alles ook stuk duurder dan vroeger, nadat het in andere handen is overgegaan. Alles is netjes en schoon, maar wel wat schimmel in de douche die aandacht verdient.

• Leyla (10/5): Un soggiorno piacevole e di classe - La struttura è ristrutturata, pulita ed arredata con gusto, mi è piaciuto il mobilio vintage con oggetti di design. E’ dotata di 5 camere, un ristorante principale al piano terra e qualche altra sala dove riunirsi per colazioni di lavoro, pranzi e cene più riservate. Le camere non sono insonorizzate ma risultano comunque silenziose perché la struttura è lontana dal traffico ed è frequentata da certa clientela tranquilla. La struttura è circondata da un bel giardino e presenta un‘area parcheggio non custodito. Il ristorante è molto ricercato con menu tipo nouvelle cuisine di alta qualità ma non adatto ai bambini. Il personale è cordiale e professionale. Mi è piaciuta anche l’ampia camera dove ho soggiornato con mia figlia, la bella vetrata che si apre su vista sul giardino. I prodotti in dotazione in bagno sono di buona qualità così come il caffè ed il tè offerto dalla struttura . La location è ottima per raggiungere la clinica Saint André dove dovevamo andare ogni giorno. Era tutto molto bello e piacevole. E’ una struttura non adatta ai bambini piccoli, direi sotto ai 5-6 anni, ma questo è un dettaglio per chi fosse interessato. Avrei apprezzato un bollitore in camera per farmi un tè la mattina e una tisana la sera.

• michèle (10/5): Fabuleux - C’est une belle maison où le confort et l’esthétique vont de paire . Ultra cocooning, la chambre est hyper douillette , spacieuse avec une déco vintage atypique . L’hôtel est au calme et donne sur un petit parc . Le parking est privé , l’arrêt de bus est à 3 min à pied pour aller découvrir Nancy . Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir !

Parking sur place et le soir, on peut faire une petite promenade si on veut! A 15 min du centre ville/5km. Le lit très large à 180cm comme on l’aime. Chambre très propre. Le petit déjeuner agréable et vaut le prix. On reviendra. Merci —-

• Shelley (9/5): The hotel, beautiful grounds, quiet neighborhood, and our 2 rm suite was a wonderful place to stay! - We had a lovely stay in our 2 room suite, with large dining room table and couch. The bathroom was great, nicely designed & spacious. I really liked the grounds, parks near by, and the additional artistic upstairs sitting room, with beverages. The breakfast was simple yet nice. Ir was a bit odd to walk through the restaurant to leave or return to our room at night. Having the employee break table right outside our LR window, and listening to their conversations, felt like we were intruding on their time and we didn't have any quiet time in our space while enjoying wine and trying to have our own conversation.

Dazu reichhaltige Weinauswahl: ein kreativer Koch, der auch hohe Ansprüche befriedigt. Zum Tagesanfang schön präsentiertes, sehr reichhaltiges Buffet in heiterer Atmosphäre mit perfektem Service. Das Logis Clos Jeannon liegt idyllisch in einem kleinen Park, nahe dem Dorfzentrum: bonne vieille France! Idealer Parkplatz. Ganz in der Nähe Busstation 16, Möglichkeit in 20 Minuten das Stadtzentrum von Nancy mit ÖV zu erreichen. Die Chefin und ihr Mann lassen ihre Leidenschaft für ihren Betrieb erkennen, interessieren sich persönlich für die Wünsche der Gäste und erfüllen sie prompt. Ein kleines Hotel, das sehr zu empfehlen ist! Vielen Dank Keine Negative im Clos Jeannon!

• Kathryn (9/5): Perfect end to our three week trip! - I travel as a disabled person. Le Clos Jeannon was a little oasis of calm in what can sometimes be a crazy world! The property was full of arty pieces and quirks, it was lovely. The bed and room were comfortable and spacious, the windows and shutters were fabulous. The shower was exceptional, the best of our long road trip. The gardens were beautiful, something often overlooked in hotels. The staff were wonderful, very kind and helpful. Sylvaine and her husband are creating an exceptional escape. There was nothing to dislike but we thought €14 per head for breakfast was a little steep.

• maresa (10/5): Een heel fijn verblijf - Het is een prachtig plekje. Kamers zijn heel schoon en mooi ingericht. Er is een zitkamer met de mogelijkheiden om thee en koffie te pakken. Wij hebben gegeten bij het direct naastgelegen Restaurant Le Villeroy. Dit was ook echt geweldig, We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad. De mogelijkheid om een drankje te doen, anders dan koffie en thee.

In de directe omgeving is niet veel te doen. Wel een mooi idyllisch kerkje. Meer een buitenwijk. Voor ons geen probleem. Als je 's avonds nog vertier zoekt, kun je beter naar het centrum. Hou je van rust en jezelf verwennen met goed eten en heerlijke wijn, dan zit je hier goed.

Le parking est bien situé. il faudrait voir pour équiper le packing avec une borne de recharge électrique, cela serait un plus.

• Juliet (7/5): Good location for the Botanic Garden - As we stayed on a Sunday evening we checked in using a key box which was fine. The instructions were clear and the room had the expected facilities. Breakfast was served to us (rather than a buffet) but there were only a few guests so that was understandable. Friendly & helpful staff. I sent a query in English using the app but I don't think this was the best way to get a response. Some of the decor is tired and needs an update and there is no lift but these points is reflected in the star rating

• Eric (2/5): very disappointing - We were very disappointed by the inflexibility with which le Clos Jeannon treated our particular booking. An hour after booking a room at the hotel we were told that there would be nobody at the reception as it was after 19h and there was also no possibility to get a bite to eat as the restaurant was closed on a sunday. We therefore had to cancel the reservation as we were tired and had been driving all day. We understand that the terms and conditions of the reservation state that all bookings are non refundable in case of cancellation, but since our booking had only lasted about one hour before we canceled, one might have expected a certain degree of understanding and customer friendliness. If anything, this would be to show that the larger group of hotels to which they belong are prepared to show some flexibility towards potential customers when they know that such customers have been driving all day and have a reasonable expectation of a minimum level of hotel service, (and not, for example, that of an airbnb where check in is without staff and there is no possibility to have a bite to eat). The inflexibility and insistence of le Clos Jeannon to charge us for the full 158 euros for a booking that lasted no more than about one hour leaves us feeling extremely disappointed with how we were treated. In the hospitality industry, any hotel worth its reputation is expected to show a willingness to accommodate different customer needs to the best of their ability. We did not expect a full refund of course, but their insistence that we should pay the whole price, for a service that they literally did not have to provide at all, and their inability to offer some kind of compromise to perhaps meet us half way made us feel that the management of this hotel is more concerned with the kind of penny-pinching profit maximisation that leaves potential customers with a feeling that they are not worthy of respect and are there simply to be financially squeezed to the max.

• Julia (10/5): Gourmet food in a beautiful, peaceful setting - Set in a beautiful quiet suburb of Nancy. Lovely gardens surround the property and the only sound we heard were the church bells.
• Stephen (5/5): Disappointing and frustrating - Pleasant room, ample car-parking in a secluded suburb of Nancy, however . . . our choice of Le Clos Jeannon was based on the fact that it had a highly regarded restaurant, for which, to be sure of a table, I sent a reservation via Booking.com that was confirmed by the hotel on 1st July. However, at about 3pm on the day of our arrival I received a phone call from the hotel telling me the restaurant was closed. On inquiring at the hotel we were told the restaurant was never open at this time of year and no explanation was given as to why my reservation had been confirmed. Because Le Clos Jeannon is located in a quiet suburb there are no restaurants in the vicinity and we were told we'd have to go into the centre of Nancy to find somewhere decent to eat. Had I wished to revisit Place Stanislas, I would have booked a more suitably situated hotel and made arrangements with one of the restaurants in the city centre. As it was, on a blazing summer's night almost everything was already booked and we had to traipse around numerous restaurants before finding one that could accommodate us (at 10pm) -- not the ideal way to spend a stopover night on the way to Germany. I should acknowledge that the hotel did offer us vouchers for a complimentary meal (reimbursement of the 30 euros it cost to get in and out of Nancy might have been more welcome), however, I don't think I'll be taking up their offer.

This was not mentioned in your website. This was very disappointing as the restaurant was one of the reasons why we booked. There was also no alternative in the vicinity
