Molly (10/5): Can't wait to go back! Worth the expense for the view, hot tub on the deck, and relaxing experience. - We appreciated the attention to detail, cleanliness of the room and bathroom, and friendliness of staff. There were robes for us on the bed when we arrived which was great for the outside hot tub. The outdoor deck chairs and patio were very clean, as well as the glass railing/wall so we could enjoy the amazing view. We chose to stay above other properties due to the view, beach access, and hot tub on the deck (which all exceeded our expectation). We will definitely refer friends, and family, and plan on returning in the future. We did have to walk to the hotel/building next door to check in, but it wasn't that big of a deal (it was a beautiful day and not raining, so that made a small difference).

Trisha (3/5): It was my birthday trip and I imagine paying $195 a night for a $70 a night worthy hotel - It was on the beach The beds weren't comfortable, the hot tub was warm, the t.v kept going out, the power went off, and I had to walk all the way off the property in the pouring rain and wind to smoke when I had a balcony.

Also the cleaning people knocked on our door 10min before checkout….. at Least wait until checkout before knocking and then we were just grabbing our stuff to leave 10min after check out and they knocked again, never had the cleaning people be so persistent with that close To check out

Lisa (10/5): A couples dream - Updated rooms are amazing! Perfect view great staff Only thing was the hot tub was cold when we checked in! It took 3 hours to heat before we could use it! That was a bummer! The robes were gross and used but I called and they fixed it right away! So over all good! Everyone has bad days or trying to rush so I understand! I stay here a lot and this was the fist time this has ever happened!

531sarhag (2/5): NOT AS FAMILY FRIENDLY AS CLAIMED - I will not be purchasing from Starfish Manor or Beachfront Manor again. In my experience, their properties are not as family-friendly as they claim. When we needed to make an adjustment, we were told that children are not allowed in certain rooms—something that was not clearly communicated at booking. They were unwilling to accommodate us, relocate us, or offer any kind of refund. There was no collaboration or willingness to find a reasonable solution. As a family, this left us feeling dismissed and unsupported. When you plan a simple getaway and end up losing money or being forced into a situation where your children can’t be accommodated, it’s incredibly disappointing and heartbreaking. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend staying here.

Valerie (1/5): Never Again. - Location and we were able to check in an hour and a half early. To start with, the hotel is ran down and sketchy at night. The Starfish (where you have to check in and ask for towels and such) looks to be very nice. Beachfront, not so much. Our room was #201. Down a short flight of stairs, long walkway, and then down another huge flight of stairs. You definitely don’t just randomly run back to your room throughout the day to use the bathroom or take a quick break. The last stairs aren’t covered, so they’re constantly wet and slick. There was a large puddle of water directly in front of our door the entire stay. I’ve seen where management responds and says that the amount of stairs is stated during booking of room. Nope. I’ve looked many times. The very first night, the fireplace stopped working. No big deal, right? No, it’s the only source of heat. It was 61° in the room. So, we got in our car and drove to the front desk next door. They sent a maintenance man over. He fixed it. It went out in the middle of the night again. We left really early that morning and contacted the front desk again when we got back that evening. This time they sent the maintenance man again, a small heater fan, and said that they’d call us the next day and try to get us in a new room. The heater fan didn’t do much. The whole reason that we booked a room at this place was because of the hot tub on the balcony. We only used it once because the room was so cold, so it was absolutely miserable coming into an ice cold room from being in the hot tub. Same with showering. It was miserable drying off and getting dressed. We stayed for four nights (almost $1200). If we wanted clean towels, we had to go next door and request them. We were going to leave our trash out, but there were random cats running around, so we just had to pile it up in our room. Gross. We never saw anyone from housekeeping, but we also left first thing in the morning and didn’t return until late because it was so miserable in our room. We never heard from anyone throughout our stay.

We look forward to staying after the remodel - our fireplace didn’t work (they told us this at check in and I’m not sure if I was actually charged the discounted price they promised).

Also there was no air in the room it went and it was very hot in the evening through the night. The location was great and our room was perfect for what we needed. Wasn't thrilled with not having any air in the room didn't feel comfortable leaving the window open, the small area to sit and do your business and The Limited size of the shower as far as movement goes.

For what they offered a the prices very reasonable remodel rooms clean with bathrobe’s for hot tub

There was sand on the floor....not a ton and I am sure it is hard given the location but when you walk to the bath at night you had to wipe your feet before bed. Other guests were a bit disrespectful about rule regarding trash, smoking etc. The staff were VERY nice and accomodating. They have to deal with humans who are not as nice.

The directions on the website sent us to a different hotel and the lobby we checked in to was another hotel. Very confusing. We didn’t know there was no elevator and I’ve had both knees replaced in the last 23 months. My husband had knee surgery 3 weeks prior. Otherwise we had a great time exploring the coast.

Jennifer (4/5): - So the property was fine. Most of the issues were normal on the coast; doors that stick and sand everywhere. The toliet was broken, but was fixed while we went to dinner. The bathroom and front door stuck bad enough I needed help opening them. There were a lot of stairs that were steep so I struggled being disabled. The biggest problem came with their lying at what we got. I paid for a room that had a private hot tub on the balcony. What we got was a jacuzzi tub next to the bed. When I asked why the respinse was "that's what you get for booking on Expedia. The photos do not match what you pay for.

TYLER (2/5): - The pictures on Expedia where nothing like what the room was , the room had a horrible mold smell and when I asked if I could upgrade or pay extra for a different room the lady told me there was nothing available, so I ended up having to find another hotel that night, after getting settled into my new hotel I realized I still had the first key card and went to return it , and upon doing so they had a shift change, I explained what happened to the new employee that was working and she said the other female lied completely and could have changed our room , and that they had plenty more available. Not sure why she was such a b .... But either I will never be going back also I will be turning the hotel into the Oregon department of health for horrible mold issues that they don't want to address, this hotel is horrible all the way around save your money and time ....

Verified traveler (6/5): Needs new mattresses - Everything was fine except the mattress was the worst mattress that either one of us had ever slept in. We both woke up with pain in our backs and our whole body. We continue to have body pains for two days after.

Then after we checked in they told us the fireplace had a gas leek so they had to turn it off and there is a space heater inn closet. spazcat1 (2/5): Creepy vibe - If you are looking for a place that feels like you are walking into a horror movie.. it's perfect! I opened the room door and immediately left to find better accommodation. Super strong oder, very dark, no view and just nasty. There were two parts to the hotel, a newer section and an old creepy section. Unfortunately I was booked in the later.

Wish the patio door had a screen or the big window for fresh air and to hear the sounds of the waves. Room was very underwhelming, staff was not eager to help when trying to reach the front desk (no they were not busy, we had just left the front desk 10 minutes prior to trying to call), it is nice that it is very close to the beach, but other than that I do believe this will be our last time coming.

Kelsey (2/5): - My reservation was for Beachfront manor, but turns out that it’s under renovation and “having plumbing issues” so they gave us a room at the starfish manor instead and called it an upgrade. It was dirty, hard beds, no screen on window that face the wall of the building next door instead of the beach. Had to leave the window with no screen open all night because there is no air conditioning in the rooms. The stairs down to the beach are a long steep puzzle and hard to find. The toiletries hooked to wall in the shower were empty. Overall, I really regret this reservation.

Originally paid for beach front. Hot tub was broken and was upgraded for “free” because of that to a not a beach front. Lack of lighting around where our hotel door was from the outside that actually worked without constantly shutting on and off as you walk down a stairway in darkness. Spraining my ankle on the second to the last step because the light shut off as I stepped down and fell.

Renee (7/5): Good - They put us in a room that was being remodeled. We didn't have a sink and the lighting in the room was horrible. We love staying here but this time was garbage
Brenna (2/5): Wont be back. - I liked the location The room we booked said it would have a hot tub or a jacuzzi tub and it had a small shower barely big enough for two people. Most of the hotel was being renovated so there were a lot of rooms unavailable. If I would have known there was no hot tub or jacuzzi I would have booked a $50 room somewhere else instead of $219. My husband and I don’t get time away very often so it was a major let down to not get what the pictures and description showed.

D4229GWjackiec (2/5): COLD HOT TUB BAD SERVICE AND CONSTRUCTION - Bad service have been coming here for years and the hot tub was cold i understand it state requirement to drain it and refill but check in os at 4 that should have been enough time. Also they were doing construction and no where on the website did it indicate that they were going to be loud and noisy and dust and harmel chemicals. Room smelt like wet paint it was a horrible stay and I will not be coming back. The ladies in the front were kinda rude . Like I said been coming here for years and never again will I spend this kinda money on a room. NEVER!!!!

Ivan (8/5): - Fire place doesn’t work. Doesn’t have any heating other than a space heater. Owners don’t seem like they are trying to fix that. Other than that, unbeatable view if you are on the second or 3rd floor with hot tub. Right on the beach. Hot tub is nice, heats up to 104 degrees. Ready to go. Overall 4/5.

Loved that there was beach access from our room, it was acceptable to most places around us that we enjoyed going to... would have loved the room and hot tub if it had been cleaned before arriving and checking in.. had to go ask front desk to have our room cleaned, also there wasn't any cable or Internet available and wasn't informed until I brought it up that the 3 rooms above and below us were down and the property couldn't do anything about it ..
