- Verified traveler (8/5): - Fantastic location in front of Mother Theresa House, as well as walking distance to all major attractions in the city. Reception staff were all pleasant. However, wifi is very bad and the room itself if dim and shows sign of age. Not sure if the carpet was vacuumed regularly or if they disinfect the toilet. First night in, they didnt have shampoo/body wash. They refilled it with hand soap only. No way to call reception from the room.

- Mory (8/5): - Although parking was advertised as onsite, due to recent construction you can not actually drive up to the hotel, but are directed to park in a nearby parking garage which is a 7 minute walk away (with luggage). And then you must pay for your parking yourself, although in the end it only came to 1100 MKD for 2 nights. The front desk staff were friendly, cheerful & helpful. A special shout out to our fellow Canadian, who recently move to Skopje to rediscover her family roots, Elena!

- MAYUMI (8/5): 安心のチェーンホテル - 町の中心地なのですが、思ったより細い道だったので迷ってしまい、地元の人に聞きながらたどり着きました。 地元の人にベストウェスタンと聞いてもわからないようなので、マザーテレサ記念館の目の前と聞いた方が早いと思います。 レセプションの方は早い時間にも関わらず、すぐに部屋を用意してくれました。てきぱきとしたビジネスライクな対応ですが、必要なことはきちんと伝えてくれます。 部屋はマザーテレサ記念館が窓から見えて良かったです。 チェーンホテルなので安心してくつろげるつくりでした。 少し古いかも知れませんが、エアポートバス乗場や中心地に近いので、ここに泊まって良かったなと思いました。 暖房が効かなかった時も、スタッフの女性がすぐに対応してくれたりして、 基本的に困ることはなかったです。 冷蔵庫、ポット、お茶、コーヒー、ドライヤー、そろっています。

Good WiFi. View of a building under construction. Far to get luggage from bus. Simple breakfast. Close to attractions and shopping.

- robertsK3718DS (6/5): 3 Night Stay in Skopje. - I stayed here for 3 nights.The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff that I met was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect being almost city center. There are all types of food and beverage options very close by. The only issue for me was Breakfast which was always cold including the coffee from the machine. The management need to address this issue as it let's the hotel down in my opinion. Otherwise a very good stay at this hotel.

He organised even the transportation from the airport late night, gave us the indications, recommendations and when I wanted to change the room on upper floor - was no problem. - Aeronaut65 (6/5): Disapointing - Been here a few times now, and have always been satisfied. During a year since my last stay things have changed. And not for the better . The good stuff: Location right on the walking street, easy walk to everything. Due to my status I was upgraded to a bigger room and received water and fruit, which I appreciate. I was also invited to free breakfast so will not comment on that. What I will say is that the breakfastroom is way to small when the hotel is fully booked and all groups descide to have breakfast at the same time. My room at the 4th floor, has a small balcony, there I found old cups with rotten fruits in it. Wifi was very bad in this room which made it difficult to do my work. Coffee/tea was non existing (apart from the kettle). No tissues and the soapcontainers are so old that they dont work properly. Cleaners had a bad attitude, they did not remove old towels from the floor and toiletpapaper was not restocked. I had one linnen change which had stains . Corridor smelled like sewage. Service has gone down, I think only the young man working in the cafe knows what he is doing, at least he is attentive to his customers. When he was not working, I was just ignored or staff was simply not present. Had two meals which was of bad quality. To sum it up, Best Western Turist will not be my first choice on my next visit to Skopje. I would rate the hotel as beeing 3star.

The hotel manager sent me to Holiday Inn Hotel nearby and I have a great stay in here. Everything about Holiday Inn Hotel in Skopje is great.

Negative: the AC was very good at making heavy noise, however, room temperature stayed at +30; discovered couple of half-empty bottles beneath our beds on the first night, we left after 2 nights, the bottles (probably) stayed; blood-stained duvet isn't exactly something you enjoy... By the way, they don’t have parking, there’s an agreement with other hotel. So, you can park but have to walk with your luggage for about kilometre.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Highly recommended - Good location, the hotel is located in the very center, on the right bank of the Wardar River, you can cross the bridge to the old town of Czarszija on foot in about 15 minutes. The room is absolutely OK, you can sleep well. A large selection of English-language TV channels (which is not a rule in other places ;-)). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

- S1507GQrobertr (10/5): very good city hotel - Situated in the very heart of Skopje city centre. Just 2 minutes from Makedonia square and Vardar river, 5 minutes stroll to the old bazaar. There are bars just around the corner, but hotel in soundproof. Staff in absolutely gentle, they give you information about the town and things to do or to go to. It's not fair to give a review to breakfast, since pandemic times reduces the choice. However, there is choice of cold and hot items. The only remark is parking, since there are building works going on around hotel and parking lot was distant about 10 minutes walk. With luggage, it a bit inconvenient.

- Tajanatajci (8/5): Absolutely perfect location! - We came here with agency for the New year concert on the main square. This hotel was pleasant surprise. Location perfect, in the middle of everything, basically 5 minutes walking will take you in every place you need to see. Room had great value for the money, and in was clean. Staff is super friendly, but super slow, so you can say goodbye to morning coffee, waiter will never come. And the coffee bars in Skopje open after eight. So stay in bed 'till than. Only thing I didn't liked is breakfast, for 4 stars hotel, need to be way much better. Everything other thumbs up.
- registrirana (6/5): Great location, friendly staff - The hotel is located in the sheer center of the town, you'll need exactly one minute to get to the main square but despite this the rooms are rather quiet. It has five floors and offers both smoking and non-smoking rooms. The staff is friendly, including the people on the reception, in the restaurant and the cleaning ladies. The breakfast is really not much, but has the usual basics - eggs, salami, marmalade, tomatoes, cheese, tea, coffee... Most importantly - the rooms are clean, spacious and the beds are of good quality, although the design won't knock you over.
- TOMOSUMIC (10/5): City centre - Very comfortable Hotel in the heart of the city. It may be a minor problem if you have a lot of suitcases, as something around the Hotel is being built. But the Hotel staff will arrange everything. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Fridge filled to the brim. WiFi fast. Breakfast is very tasty by standard in Macedonia. They have good cheese and are always fruit on the table. Prices for this hotel and location are excellent.
- OneAddictedTraveler (6/5): good location - The location of the hotel is good. Its a short walk down pedestrian only streets to the stone bridge. Mother Theresa's memorial is right across the street. Finding the hotel is a challenge. Renovation of the building next door blocks much of the access with scaffolding - and the renovation is now on indefinite hold. Drivers can't come near the hotel so bringing in luggage is a problem. The hotel pays for parking in a nearby ramp but that system caused us problems. The rooms could use an refresh but they were clean. Breakfast was only average. The best feature is the ability to walk to the sites of interest to a tourist.

- Natalie (6/5): Good location - Overall it was fine, negatives: although we were told there was free parking, when we turned up we were told that we should have emailed in advance to tell them we needed parking and as such there were no spaces left. Also we were told it’s hotel policy to leave passports behind the desk and when we left we saw they were just behind the desk, not even locked away which was pretty shocking. The room itself was pretty dated although fairly clean but I can’t fault the location, it’s right in the centre of Skopje

- SunSeaSkyy (8/5): Good Location and Decent Quality you Expect from a Best Western - This Best Western hotel is just 3 minutes walk from the the fountain and monument off the Stone Bridge (south side of river) and near many shops and restaurants. The hotel is a bit old, and has a central heating/cooling system so you get either heat or AC, but not both - depending on how they have it set. All facilities work well, including WiFi in the room, a great shower, good bedding and buffet breakfast. A good value overall. It's not boutique or romantic and feels like a business hotel, but it is reliable.
- Geof (6/5): - There is a lot of construction going on but the hotel is fine. They should remove the carpeting in rooms to present a cleaner and more hygienic appearance. They should also ensure there are adequate power plugs and tables near the bed for charging mobile phones. I had to lay my phone on the bed since there was no outlet on the side of the bed with a nightstand. Overall it was a moderate hotel.
- jkoslowski148 (10/5): For the size, this is very good - This is not a terribly large room but considering most other European hotels, this is not out of the ordinary. The food is good (free continental breakfast) and it is located fairly centrally to some major landmarks (Mother Theresa museum is right next to it and the Alexander the Great statue is down the street).

The room had zero air circulation even after opening the window. It was not working. The pillows were so uncomfortable because they were so filled with synthetic filling. Great location, that's it.

They pursued getting my lost bag from airport, helped in getting a taxi (and a good rate), and answered a lot of questions. Very nice people. - Louis (8/5): A welcoming oasis in chaotic Taksim - I have lived off and on in Istanbul since 1960 for a total of seven years and seen a world change, some things have become more pleasant and other less so, in my experience. This hotel is located in an area that was once made up of middle class flats and is now occupied by mid-range hotels, tourists, many from the Arab world, and (regrettably) many aggressive tourist touts but safe and very convenient to public transportation, shopping and cultural activities.

- Friendly comment (4/5): site under construction - As I came to this hotel I found that it is impossible to reach it by car, not even by taxi because of massive road constructions in progress. After long circling around and asking people I finally parked the car on pedestrian area and walked to the hotel. The people at the reception where not so helpful until I insisted that one of them come with me and provide the parking. One did but at the end my car left at the pedestrian area by the morning in lack of other solution. Fortunately I left the hotel very early in the morning so probably missed the problem with the police for the illegal parking.
