Guest Reviews
- tamara (8/5): - Trein rails achter het pand
- Larry (7/5): - Breakfast in restaurant next door. Very good
- Jennifer (9/5): Fun night in space! - Space age theme was awesome. Interior was pretty updated and clean. A little stuffy smell. Once AC tirned on, it went away.
- Marco (9/5): -
- Dolores (3/5): -
- Edmon L (8/5): Out of this world. - The facility has been updated and h a s much potential. The staff was eager to respond to via any request but we called the housekeeper back to clean and issue with the toilet. Then called for help with the lovely big screen TV operation.
The bed was ok, nothing special. Room size is good.
Breakfast voucher provided a great breakfast in the restaurant
For $10. No towels bar for hand towels. No face cloth. The AC was loud and the remote was very small print. The trash in the parking lot should have been taken care of.
- Ramona (8/5): -
- Melissa (2/5): - Yelling people outside my door at 2 am. It is an old, dated building, a little lipstick on a pig doesn't make a Best Western experience, sad
- Doreen (10/5): - There was nothing that a didn't like. The price was even better then the hotel it self could give and I was a member of Best Western.
- Elena (6/5): - Esta ubicado entre una carretera con mucho tráfico y una vía de tren, el ruido es tremendo.
- Wright (7/5): - Location
Very clean
Good breakfast for 10$ Noisy train
- Wright (7/5): -
- Sue (8/5): - Noisy guests
- McLaughlin (2/5): Really wish we hadn’t booked it and stayed there - I can’t find anything to say was good. The room was dirty, heater remote. Tv remote didn’t work, satellite box was unplugged had to move the cabinet to find the power cord and cord to tv to plug them in.
- August (8/5): A little expensive, but I'd stay here again. - No problems with wi-fi. Good desk space. Comfortable bed: mattress firm enough, pillows neither too fat and solid nor too thin and skimpy. Good lighting for working at desk and for reading in bed. Temperature control worked well. No problems with noise. Desk clerk friendly and helpful. No complaints.
- Marisela (8/5): - Colchon demasiado blado
Baño muy pequeño,
No microondas en la habitación
Precio alto
Para la calidad del hotel
- Lillian (8/5): Unique older themed hotel with a delicious full hot breakfast in restaurant next door. Perfect for a short stay. - Great breakfast next door at restaurant
- Martin (9/5): Great !!! -
- Sabrina (8/5): Wir waren schon das 2. Mal auf der Durchreise hier - - Das Design
- Zimmer sehr groß
- gute Betten
- Frühstück incl. In Space Age Restaurant - Lage direkt an der lauten Durchfahrtsstraße
- UFO-Beleuchtung über der Lobby leider teilweise defekt
- Rita (10/5): - The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much and we hope to be able to return again. There was not a thing we didn't like.
- Warren (8/5): Adequate overnight stay for breaking up a long drive across the desert -
- alfonso (8/5): -
- Angelica (5/5): - Room was clean and bed was pretty comfortable There were trash bags in front of each room upon arrival, cook didn’t show so no breakfast
- Goerger (8/5): -
- esoe03 (6/5): Ok hotel, very unreliable restaurant for breakfast, think twice before booking - It was a convenient location for a one night stay We booked it especially for the breakfast which was included, but the chef didn't arrive for the whole morning so they closed the restaurant, the hotel didn't care, did not offer any alternative. Seems like this is a recurring issue, if I would've known we would've stayed somewhere else especially since Gila Bend doesn't have that many options to have breakfast.
- Carol (8/5): - Great breakfast Very noisy road
- Suzanne (7/5): Great spot to stay while traveling through Arizona. - Perfect place to stop after a long day of travel. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Plenty of towels and toiletries available There was plenty of room to park. Breakfast was very nice. I like that we could choose from the menu. We were put in an ADA room even though it wasn't necessary. We could not park in front of our room because that was reserved as a handicapped spot. The bathroom door did not close properly.
- Jeanette (10/5): - Clean, quiet, comfortable and easy to access
- Madelynne (9/5): -
- John (3/5): -

- Paul Simmonds (8/5): Great place to stay during hunting season. - The staff was very helpful, friendly, and accomodating. The restaurant needs help.
- Maria Anna (10/5): - Everything is clean and tidy. Room is cool enough. I like the toiletries addition.
- Benetta (10/5): - Very friendly staff, room was clean and comfortable, vouchers were provided for breakfast at the restaurant. Definitely would return.
- Nicholas (8/5): - Everyone was friendly. It was convenient and we had a good nights sleep. Everyone we would open the door to go outside little black elm bug beetles came in. We just swept them back outside.
- Robynn (7/5): pricey and no amenities... - the breakfast pool was closed and that was very disappointing. the pool was one of the reasons we chose this hotel and paid the extra money. The price was too high for the location.
- Thurston (10/5): - Space themed decor in the office, rooms, and restaurant was fun. We especially loved a large mural in the restaurant.
All hotel and restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly.
- Brigitte (10/5): - Frühstück gibt es im Lokal nebenan. Das ist nicht gerade einladend und etwas "heruntergekommen". Das Essen war aber in Ordnung.
- Rasa (10/5): - Other than the swimming pool being out of service this was a great place to recover from heat exhaustion that put m in the hospital overnight
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Amazing staff
- Marilyn (6/5): - Nice and quite
- Joseph (10/5): Space age in Gila Bend!!! - Very comfortable rooms and free breakfast at the cafe was awesome!
- Juergen (10/5): - Clean
- Horacio (6/5): - Checking in was easy. Rooms were ok have a few bugs on the ground and in the showers. Awkward smell when we walked into our rooms.
- Elaine (10/5): Very Good Place to Stay - We were a little disappointed when we pulled up, but...the room was wonderful! Very clean.
- JOAN (10/5): - The room was so clean! The bed is so comfy! The pillows fabulous! The staff is very kind. Complimentary breakfast at the restaurant next door! I had French Toast and my partner had eggs and hash browns and bacon and the coffee is really good! The Aliens are fun!
- Stacey (10/5): Fantastic!!!! One of my favorite places!!! - The biscuits and gravy were the best!!! NA
- Brian (7/5): Good -
- Michael T (8/5): - No sorry
- Maximilian (5/5): Passable - Very friendly staff, fun experience and clean Rooms are a bit outdated, overpriced and extremely loud AC unit. Could barely sleep
- Juliya (6/5): - Feels a bit overpriced for what you get but it was comfortable enough
- Phil (8/5): Very good -
- Stacey (8/5): Very good - The room was very nice staff very friendly! The pool was not operating. So not the value I thought it would be for one night.
- Lesley (8/5): Very good -
- Hadeer (10/5): - Nice experience
- Andrea (8/5): Very good -
- Erin (10/5): Exceptional - Proximity to the park so we could walk our dog.
Breakfast inclided.
Vrert nice staff.
The garden around tge pool is beautiful.
Clean and had everything we needed. They even called our room shortly after check in to see if we had everything we needed.
- Shannon (10/5): - Bed and pillows were wonderful, room was big and breakfast was great
- Monica (8/5): - Good place.
- Alexander (8/5): Very good - Friendly, quirky place with comfortable rooms and restaurant.
- Duddles (9/5): Superb -
- Stephen (6/5): Clean and quirky but no bar and restaurant - Room was clean and updated and included a nice large hotel fridge. Lots of loud traffic all night long so be aware of that. Also we had picked this hotel because of the fun looking bar and restaurant on the site only to find out it had closed down when we checked in :( (it’s only open for the free breakfast). But overall it was fine for a quick sleep and getting back on the road.
- DIANA (10/5): - Nice clean property, comfortable beds and great breakfast.
- William (10/5): - Great motel remodel. Fun theme. Clean and tidy. They take pride in the property.
- William (10/5): - Great room after REALLY tired drive from Mexico!
- Alyssa (6/5): Cool place! Yummy food! - Definitely a unique experience and stay, especially if you’re a sci-fi fan. Highly recommend the breakfast included bundle. Restaurant is right next door, food was delicious! Waitress was very sweet and nicely decorated inside. Front desk check in could have been a little more polite. Check in was a slight issue given how il-mannered front desk was. Overall a cool stay!
- William E (10/5): - The rooms were spacious, check-in was quick and thorough, the included breakfast was good, bathtub had a safety grab rail, coffee, coffee maker, refrigerator, soap, shampoo, conditioner, tissues, toilet paper, and lotion were all provided, beds were clean and comfortable, great restaurants such as Little Italy and Sofia's Mexican Food in the area.
- MARYSABEL (8/5): - It is located very convenient
- gracielaroman900 (2/5): Nasty - The first room wasn't clean, the second room was not clean , I was so tired 😴, I requested a couple of sheets, and the front desk agent told me that they do not have extra , because housekeeping already go!!!
I was mad, and I did pay $180.00 dollars for a dirty room. It is not fair.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Wish we had more time to enjoy it. Just spending the night after Padres Spring Training game . - The theme ! TV wasn’t working
- Rosanne (10/5): Exceptional - Price location
fun space design
- Rutter (7/5): Poor service with clean room after a lot of hassle - Great breakfast at the connected restaurant. Once in a room it was clean. The clerk that checked us in couldn’t find our reservation even after giving her the confirmation number. She then charged my friends credit card. After contacting booking, they called her and were able to resolve the original reservation. She then charged my friends card again instead of giving her a credit. The first room we were sent to had not been cleaned. The second one was fine. A lot of headaches.
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Pieter (9/5): Superb - Restaurant was part of the hotel. Breakfast: choices are plenty; they make to order and quick; food was good. Staff was very friendly and attentive.
- Rob (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rob (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dimo (4/5): Overpriced, but staff was exceptional. - Staff was exceptional, nice, helpful, professionnal. The room was way too expensive for that level of accommodation.
- Andrea (10/5): - Just a neat property, we loved the space theme!!
- Morgan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bryan (10/5): - We wanted to stay within easy driving distance to Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. This was CERTAINLY the best option in the area. The theming made it extra special and different. All staff we met were great (check-in and in restaurant).
- pomaikai (4/5): Chockey Hotel.. one night stay.. yikes - its way out there. possibly the best hotel in Gila.. kinds gives Bates Motel Vibes.. yikes... restaurant was closed and hours were not right on the website: currently open 6 am to 1pm. room floor was dirty, leaves in the room, and bathroom is falling apart. Beds make too much noise if you move.
- Heather (10/5): Intergalactic - The room was great the breakfast was amazing Loved it all
- Susan (8/5): Very good -
- Patty (10/5): - It was very clean. My only issue was the train driving by all night long. Its kinda noisy.
They did offer free breakfast which was nice. I would stay again
- Hanna1955 (4/5): Over Priced For the area - The room was average, clean and functional. The prices are out of line for what and where you are staying. I would not pay $200.00 for another stay here. The staff is nice but the prices are ridiculous. You need to be a sound sleeper because the train is about 100 yards from the hotel.
- Debi (7/5): Good for an overnight on a roadtrip - Very handy overnight location. Room was quiet despite the property being sandwiched between a railroad and the main link highway between the I-10 and I-8. Reasonable value for money. Lots of parking. Breakfast is in the restaurant next door.
- Bradley (8/5): Very good -
- 701travisg (10/5): Cool Themed Place - I wish there were more themed hotels around the country. This was just cool!
The room was clean and comfortable. It wasn't like we were sleeping on a Spaceship or anything but I liked the vibe. Instead of the generic pictures of the area or photos of trees and mountains that most hotels put on the wall, this place has pictures of Space Shuttles and rockets. There's also the cool lobby and the connected space themed restaurant which was pretty good as well.
I'd totally stay here again if I was ever in the area.
- Rebecca (7/5): Good - Unfortunately the toilet had no bars to get up although advertised as handicap. Restaurant was also closed on first day. Clerk did not know that.
- donnamK9392OO (8/5): Clean Rooms - Everything was fine. The breakfast was not a buffet but it was good and cooked to order at the connected restaurant around the corner. We had a king size bed with fluffy pillows and the room had been remodeled. The room was small, but we only stayed there for one night so it was perfect for us.
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- bobpK3718RX (2/5): Bad workers, bugs, breakfast not Continental - Very bad overall the staff had no idea what was happening I got the wrong late checkout time then the next morning house keeping kept banging on the door and it turned out they didn’t even have me for late checkout then I was told it’s 1 not 3 there were bugs in the room and in the lobby when checking out a spider almost landed on my head the breakfast was good food but limited options not contintal at all
- Lori (9/5): A feeling of friendly fun environment - Easy to find . The people were wonderful. Friendly and welcoming. The mattress was uncomfortable. Like their springs starting to come up
- Ronald (9/5): Great Place - It was an oasis in the middle of the desert. The breakfast was outstanding. 112 degrees outside!
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (9/5): I highly recommend this hotel because of it's cleanliness, location, pool, and atmosphere. - The breakfast was exceptional! Lots of choices and what we picked was cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful! The room was clean and parking was plentiful. They also chose a terrific television service provider -- Direct TV! So my husband and I were able to finally watch our favorite show! There was no microwave in the room, the train woke my husband (I like trains, so I was fine with that noise), and the AC unit wasn't quite able to keep the room cool in the desert summer heat. When we went in the winter, it was fine. We forget sometimes that desert heat is triple digits. The bed wasn't super comfortable, but for a night or two I'll do it again.
