• Oceana (10/5): Accessible, clean, and quiet! - Very clean, the staff was super friendly, and the included breakfast had several options to choose from. Nothing, this property was in a nice central location and the staff were welcoming.

It included waffles, oatmeal, assorted pastries, and fresh fruit. There was plenty of coffee and an assortment of teas. It also had the most comfortable beds I have experienced in a hotel. If you want a good night's sleep with breakfast included, I highly recommend this place.

• Lisa (9/5): Great place for a good price - This was my second stay at Lamplighter and the second stay was as good as the first. The property is clean and they do nice upkeep on the grounds and buildings. The bed was comfortable and the location was perfect. I would love it if the breakfast had some other hot breakfast items - such as scramble eggs, bacon, sausage. They do have waffles which are yummy but more protein options would be great.

There were waffles, cereals, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, fruit, oatmeal, coffee and juice. I would have liked having hot potatoes and eggs, but the breakfast was sufficient. The rooms were very clean and neat. Not having a hot breakfast with eggs, bacon, and potatoes! I would have liked having a microwave oven in the room. I could not make my own cup of tea in the room. (coffee makers always have the taste of coffee).

Handy to a bar over the road, an OP shop just down the way & restaurant next door. Was great to be out of the city hub. The kitchen & cleaning staff were lovely, the room was 10/10 clean ! Would happily stay here again & recommend The only thing I would have wanted was an electric jug in the room.

• Diane (9/5): Another very comfortable, pleasant stay. - I've stayed there many times. The location is great for my needs and it's a nice place with a good breakfast and is fairly priced. I had ants in the bathroom and a tub faucet that needed to be adjusted, but they were promptly taken care of, so it really wasn't a problem. I was very disappointed in how Booking.com handled the reservation. I don't really know why I booked through them... I've always before booked directly with the Lamplighter, and will be sure to do it in the future!

• Tobalines (2/5): Buena ubicación, buen precio pero mala experiencia. Habitaciones ruidosas y mal ambiente en general - El desayuno cumple, no mas, hasta ahí. La ubicación buena, hablan español, aunque el trato de la rececpción es bastante malo. Poco espacio en el desayunador para el tamaño de habitaciones, normalmente se llena y es incomodo no poder caminar, hay que salirse y esperar que se vacíe un poco. La habitación que nos tocó (106) está junto a una cuarto de maquinas o de servicio y hace ruidos de tuberías en funcionamiento cada 15 minutos constante, dia y noche. También se escucha un ruido constante de goteo, todo el día y para acabar, olor a marihuana todas las noches que nos hospedamos.

• Alberto (5/5): Motel di basso livello con pretese - Pulizia lenzuola e bagno La struttura è stata prenotata di fretta e sembrava molto meglio dalle foto ma, in realtà, è un classico motel americano di livello medio basso. Le camere sono vecchie, il mobilio triste e datato. Frequentato per lo più da famiglie arabo musulmane con parecchi figli e quindi parecchia confusione. La colazione che é inclusa, è un’esperienza da dimenticare. Le prese sono vecchie e poche. La posizione scomoda e periferica rispetto a San Diego. C’è sicuramente di meglio allo stesso prezzo.

I'll be back 👍 No elevator, carpet was not vacuumed thoroughly or else someone came in with dirty shoes afyer cleaning (probably due to the storm).

The location. The value for money. I was surprised to get charged for the baby crib $10 per night, it was clean and well maintained so I wouldn't mind but it was the first time for me to get charged for thd baby crib. The only thing missing is a microwave inside the room.

The girl at the front desk was nice. The room smelled odd and there’s a constant dripping sound. Housekeeping is incredibly loud in the morning, not great if you want to sleep in. Coin op laundry but they don’t have change. It’s 2025, who carries cash?
