• Eileen (5/5): This place was a good distance from where I was visiting with my family overall was great but did not enjoy the shower o - Something I liked about the property is the way it looks very beautiful, great location Disliked that I had a problem with getting warm water I was only able to get either extra hot water in the shower or very cold water in the shower. I don’t know how others did it or if others had problems. Found a cockroach in my room and would seem like a tooth in my room on the floor. See pictures. The staff, my brace spoke to give me a hard time getting into my room and when I pulled in the parking lot, she turned off all the lights and left the office so I had a very difficult check-in.
• Debra (10/5): June is the best hands down you could not ask for a hostess who is pleasant on the phone and very accommodating to the c - I just loved your hostess June she was sweet and very accommodating as I was driving to the hotel we were talking on the phone and she was outside giving me directions because I was lost and we linked up. Now that is going above and beyond your work duties. With so many hotels in the area it was nice she did that for me and made me feel very comfortable for me and my guest. I will be staying there again for my birthday in June. Easy to spot once I found it

• Rachelle (1/5): - Breakfast 1. The room wasn't very clean. 2. The heater didn't work in room 119 and there were NO blankets in the room. The bed had a thin sheet and thin type bedspread. 3. The guests next door were super noisy, slamming doors,talking loudly both in and outside the room late at night, almost 11 p.m. When I tried to call the front desk from the room telephone pressing 0, it kept ringing another room. I had to call the front desk from my cell phone. Staff did handle the complaint, but the same guests started up early the next morning, so I not only had difficulty falling asleep, I was woken up early. 4. Not enough bath towels to shower for all 3 guests. Also, 0 washclothes in the room. When I asked for more was told, "if we have some." Eventually, staff produced a few extra towels. 5. The shampoo/conditioner/bodywash bottles were empty in the shower. For the money spent I expected at least the incidentals to meet basic standards. I feel I should be refunded for my stay. If it hadn't been such a long, exhausting day of driving over 3 hours and being at a wrestling tournament all day along with my husband coming off a night shift, I would have looked for another place to stay. I do not recommend this hotel! EVER!!!!
• William (9/5): Enjoyable and will stay again. - Great location, just a block and a half from embarcadero and shopping. a Restaurants next door and down on the embarcadero. Great view of Morro Bay Rock from room window. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking area is limited and small for as many cars that park in it.

• OHEARN (5/5): The room wasn’t ready when we arrived (after 7:30pm!). That was the first clue… - The manager was friendly. It was close by to where I needed to be. The breakfast was decent. The wall heater doesn’t work. No soap for the sink. No mat for the bathroom floor. Not enough towels. In-room fridge was missing a part on the inside of the door (to hold bottles).

We arrived at 6:30 for check-in and our reservation could not be found after 15 minutes or so the facility found that they canceled our reservation but a room was not ready. We had plans so I was accommodating to come back and not check into the room until nearly 9 o’clock at night When we came back the room we entered was filthy. I called the front desk. I was hung up on twice and then I received a knock at the door and was handed another key very rudely with no explanation so we transferred rooms. The next room was better but still Not noticeably clean. We left at 11:30 that night and didn’t even spend the night.

The place doesn’t look like what it say on the booking and the price was changed I made a reservation for $124/ night with a sea view when I complained about it they say I booked on third party they transferred me to a partial sea view but raised the price from $ 124 to $150

Was given a room that was not renovated because I booked thru hotels.com, was advised that I could upgrade for a room with new carpet for an extra $10. Also the bathroom is very small. The receptionist was extremely helpful letting me know about local things to see.

• Shantanu (2/5): Dont stay here - The only good thing about this hotel was the location. Nothing else. 1. Poor customer service experience at check in and through the stay. The lady at check in was abrupt and very keen to go a break as we arrived. 2. Rooms look nothing like the photos. Bed linnen was dirty and we had to get someone to change them upon checkin. Dimly lit very small rooms. 3. Breakfast was basic with limited choice. We skipped it on the last day and ate elsewhere.

Upon realizing it, I called back to check — Michelle and Lori found it, and went out of their way to have it packaged and mailed back to us, something I wouldn’t even expect some 5-star hotels to do. Do not recommend. - The property was neat and tidy and in a good location We prepaid a twin queen room and paid extra for a roll out because my husband and I were travelling with our 16 year old and 14 year old sons. They gave our room to someone who extended their stay and provided us a one king bed room for the four of us. When I questioned about the room I paid for the manager was extremely rude, ignorant and threatened to cancel our accommodation knowing everywhere in town was fully booked. We made it work with one bed but disappointed in the way she spoke to us and handled the situation.

• Vickie (4/5): Unfortunately I am sad and lost our hard earned money. - Location Patio wasn’t available when we wanted to rest. The lady was very rude. Breakfast was horrible. Mold in the ceiling of shower. Dust on top of blow dryer and behind the ironing board. Pillows were tiny and worn out. Bath towels are thin and rough. I will not stay here again. I’ve stayed at the other Best western in town and it was nice and comfortable.

• Suzanne (6/5): - We arrived a couple hours after check in and rooms were not available. They said they were "short staffed". We had to wait for our room to be cleaned. When we got to the room, the bedding was unclean with brown marks that looked like make up, and sheets that were extremely wrinkled that it made you question if they were clean. One comforter had a major hole in it and the sheet tag was showing at the top of the bed when it should be at the bottom. Thankfully, the attendent gave us another room. It was much nicer, very clean and no complaints. The staff was very accomodating.

One towel short in room and never brought after being requested.

• Autumn (4/5): - Our stay wasn’t the worst stay I’ve had, but it is by far the worst Best Western I’ve stayed at. The air conditioning did not work and I was hot all night and couldn’t sleep. The bathroom was missing body wash and the tub was sandy from the previous guests. I would definitely stay somewhere else if you can afford it.

• Jacqueline (7/5): We enjoyed the beach & Kite Festival & visiting - Loved the location We chose this hotel, paid more than we wanted to, because they served breakfast from 7:30-9:30. The person who was supposed to be there the morning of Saturday April 26 didn't show up (a known issue, share by a friendly, talkative employee). Someone (Katie) show up until 8:45-ish. Breakfast wasn't ready and available before we and the baseball players and other guests had to leave. I tried calling the number on the GM's card, no answer, I emailed the email address on the GM's business card, no response. HUGE disappointment. Also, I had no pet(s) and was put in a pet-friendly room and came home with bug bites (all 3 of us), fridge barely got cold, the office closed at 9pm. I feel the guests should be compensated in some way for the lack of breakfast Saturday morning.

Breakfast was included with the stay, but on Saturday staff didn’t show up to open the office and there was no breakfast available.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Beware of bugs - We woke up to find bugs in our beds and bites on our bodies. Apologies were given but no refund. We cut our trip short and instead spent a full day doing laundry. The location is otherwise lovely.
