Guest Reviews
- S Anderson (5/5): Good for one night rest stop. Convenient store next door for drinks/snacks. - Very clean room. Nice floor - no carpet!
It's a necessary stop on the long, boring I-5. Depressed location; not a good place to go for a walk. lots of litter in area. Basically a truck, stop, but it's all you need to spend one night and hit the road in the morning. I felt safe. Trashy, littered area around hotel. No good for walking around to stretch your legs.
- Janet (8/5): Good place to stop en route. Friendly staff, very clean and comfortable. - Close to highway, very clean and comfortable. Pet friendly.
- Sally (8/5): -
- Tracy (8/5): - Location Cosmetic
- Richard (9/5): We have stayed here twice with our dog. - For long distance travel, this is clean comfort at a truck stop just off I5, but you don’t hear the traffic or trucks inside room. Food trucks, Ihop and subway, mini marts within walking distance. The truck traffic and dust outside room.
- Ashwini (9/5): Great spot for a quick night stay while driving on I-5 -
- yann (8/5): -
- johnsQ9927CG (4/5): Overpriced Room - The room was clean and comfortable. The office help seemed indifferent as to whether I stayed there or not. The price charged at this small Podunk hotel in the middle of noplace was $140! Utterly ridiculous. The room was of little value for that kind of money. I will never stay at another Best Western again. Do yourself a favor and do the same.
- John (1/5): Dont waste your time - Close to the freeway Dirty the lady at the front desk was rude. Place smelled
- Araceli (10/5): Comodo -
- Christopher (7/5): -
- Margaret (8/5): good location - will probably stay there again - I didn't have breakfast everything was fine
- Peterson (1/5): Totally disgusting place, wouldn't stay there if they paid me. - Nothing. The motel looked nothing like the booking pictures. There were several men sitting outside the rooms drinking and partying, People were wandering around who looked like they were more interested in renting a room for an hour than for a night. It didn't appear safe. I immediately requested a refund as we did not feel safe staying there. I would absolutely not recommend this motel to anyone. It brings a bad name to Best Western.
- Toni (9/5): -
- Vickie (5/5): We had to change rooms due to the to was not working. When we got to the first room our dog was extremely thirsty so gav - Convenient location for traveling Lack of concern with cloudy water that drinking made my dog sick. It seemed to be only in the first room they reserved for us
Breakfast had minimal options
- Karlo (8/5): - Ubicación Quizá un poco elevado el precio, en general todo bien
- Brosova (10/5): -
- Elba. Arnulfo (10/5): -
- Michael (7/5): Served it purpose. - Easy access , clean . It was more of a motel than a hotel. Traffic noise was load. Also we were given a second floor room with a pet. We have an elderly dog and is was difficult getting her up and down the stairs
- Steffan (10/5): Will return - Close to my destination Nothing bad to say. Liked facility
- Dan (3/5): Thought this place would be better than the cheaper ones another exit north. It was about the same as those for more mon - Located closest to where I was going. Building is just too close to the freeway. Constant noise. Room was too industrial feeling. Like a large hospital room. But bathroom too cramped.
- Doug (5/5): Need to find new motel - Convenient location Furnishings have become more “spartan “ over the years. Metal box spring a little noisy. Single thin blanket and noisy heater with no bedspread or additional blanket. Adjacent IHOP food quality has decreased and prices increased.
- Melanie (6/5): Convenient for a quick sleep while travelling. - Location was great as it was by the highway so we could get started in the morning again. The pool was not private at all and felt like it was in the middle of the parking lot. Bathroom sink drained very slllllooooowly.
- Jason (10/5): My day was excellent - The location very close to the Kevin Hart racetrack in Bakersfield Nothing, everything was perfect exceptional service
- Jason (10/5): Perfect very close to the Kevin Hart racetrack nice quiet location and exceptional customer service - Nothing everything was perfect fresh towels in the room when I came back in the evening ready for the next morning it was all good
- Lorraine (8/5): - Convenient off highway 5. Room clean. Thundering noise of trucks, too close to it fwy. Had to wear earplugs.
- Susie (1/5): - The room smelt so strongly of dettol that we couldn’t stay in it. The bed springs sounded ruptured. We left after 10 minutes to find different accommodation.
- Robert (5/5): - Not much, just a standard room. I did not like paying $188 for a floor level motor lodge. I travel for business every three weeks all over and have stayed in all types of hotels and I was charged $188 to stay in a substandard motor lodge 20 miles from town. I am now double thinking about staying at another Best Western. I will be letting my business partners and friends know about this stay for $188.
- Mahesh (10/5): -
- Joanne (10/5): -
- Stephanie (10/5): -
- Aspesi (10/5): -
- Patricia (10/5): - Easy access from freeways. Quiet, comfortable room and nice continental breakfast in the morning.
- Francisco (10/5): - Yea
- Rita (8/5): Convenient. Clean - Convenient. Large room. Comfortable bed. The breakfast was simple but included in the price and adequate. The receptionist didn’t even say hello. We had just got off a long flight and drive from LAX. No smile nothing. No offer of water. Really put us off.
- Mark (9/5): -
- OSCAR (10/5): - Perfect stay thank you
- Ralph (6/5): OK for travel stop. Not top quality - Convenient for travel needs Warm water in pipes. Sink did not drain. TV remote broken
- Richard (8/5): - Best of the local options i have found yet. Clean newer facilities.
- Heidi (7/5): -
- Schalane (10/5): - We were on our way to Southern California and stopping here for a nights rest. The rooms were very clean. The staff was very friendly. It was a quiet and safe location just off the highway. Would definitely recommend for an overnight stay or even longer. They do include a breakfast. It’s a win-win for the traveler.
- Robert (5/5): OK for a utility stop, not much on amenities. - It was a useful stopping place between our origin and destination. Easy access to freeway. Clean. Air conditioner very, very noisy and inefficient. Breakfast minimal (they said they didn't have a food license). Not very good sound insulation from freeway. Paid the same as we did for a nicer BW a few days later not far from this one.
- Maria (8/5): -
- Stevanovic (2/5): -
- Kynta (10/5): - Great stay!
- Sadhna (4/5): - The rooms are very clean but you can't draw the blackout curtains so we hadhad bright
- Tracy (10/5): - The property is clean and well-kept. Because it is just off the freeway and across the street from a truck stop, I cannot say it is quiet. It is, however, very convenient for people traveling along the I-5 and there are plenty of food options within walking distance.
- David (10/5): Wake up to blinding sunlight - A blackout curtain would've been nice, but everything was great otherwise.
- Ryan (10/5): Happy - Everything Perfect. N/A
To nás trochu překvapilo, z fotek to není úplně patrné. Bazén uprostřed parkoviště nelákal k použití :D Ale byli jsme zde na jednu noc, a tak nám to nevadilo.
- Andrew (3/5): Terrible location and value - Close to Interstate 5 highway. Horrific stench of cattle waste and processing. 2 extremely large ranches very close.
Did not honor my Military ID discount, because reservation made online.
Completely disgusting place and rate. $178 for 2 person one night.
Also breakfast was a complete joke.
- David (10/5): - Easy to get to. Easy check in. Clean and comfortable stay.
- maitre li (6/5): -
- Vennessa (8/5): Very good -
- Paulucci (9/5): Good sleep - Very clean and comfy
Close to get on freeway
- Suramya (6/5): - This place was not worth 170 per night hotel, room were small. Breaskfast place only has 5-6 chairs.
- ashwin (6/5): - You get what you pay for, its just like any other travel motel and nothing more than sleep over type. Water pressure in the shower was very bad, but they had hot water. Room was clean where we see it, if you just look around the corners you will boat load of dust. Breakfast is very basic. we stopped over for the night with two small kids and we knew it was just a sleep over type.
Surrounding areas to the property is deserted and dark.
- brucen139 (4/5): Not a good representation of Best Western - This place is worn out. The hall rugs are worn and coming apart. The room is run down. We were not impressed. For as busy as this place seems you would think they would have more than one person at the desk for the entire motel. Made it impossible to get any help. We will not go back.
- G1916GAjohnb (6/5): Good while traveling through. - Found this hotel in west Bakersfield where there in not much any anywhere .the Ada unit was fin, the a/c unit worked will. The shower was super. Front office person very good. Cold breakfast so we ate at the IHOP.
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Good breakfast, comfortable beds, appliances worked well, room clean and towels like new Bathtub plug did not work. Condition of lot next door bad : lots of trash
- Janet (10/5): Great escape get-a-way. - Nice clean room. The staff was friendly. Plenty of places close by to choose from for eating. Close to the freeway. People complain about the freeway noise. We were on the second floor, between the ceiling fan and AC we didn't hear any outside noise. The front desk staff was very friendly and informative.
- Clausing (7/5): It sufficed - Room was clean Breakfast was limited. We went next door to IHop.
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Sharon (8/5): - Good accommodations for our dog just outside our room.
- Luann (9/5): Superb -
- Kelly G (8/5): - Location convenient but small breakfast area
- Andrea (10/5): - All
- Olga (10/5): Exceptional - Clean place, good breakfast, great stuff
- Robert (6/5): Ok, not great. - Location Not as clean as usual. Just ok this time.
- Jett (9/5): Superb -
- Bill (10/5): - the area that the hotel is in was dirty but the hotel was great and located close to where my meeting at the race track took place.
- Victoria (8/5): One night respite during long driving trip - Easy to get to off of the I-5 freeway. Bed linens were old and had holes in the sheets.
- Gregory (10/5): - Good
- Debra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sandra (5/5): Passable -
- Simon (8/5): Overnight Stay - I enjoyed my 1 night stay at Best Western. The room was exceptionally clean. It was warm outside but the air conditioner kept the room cool, although the A/C was a bit noisy, i got used to it after awhile. The motel is located by the freeway and i never heard cars drive by, even when the A/C shut off. The bed was nice and luxurious. Maybe too soft for me personally.
- Courselle (8/5): Short one nighter. Quiet clean place to crash for the night - Pancake machine was pretty neat.
- Richard (10/5): Nice place to stay for an overnight - Clean room, friendly staff, nice breakfast.
- Kim (7/5): Good - Very clean! Location
- Ian (10/5): - Great location off of I5. Very reasonable pet rate.
Gas station and IHOP right next door are very convenient for anyone looking for an overnight stop along that part of I5.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Azkp (8/5): Night in Bakersfield - Nice rooms, large & comfortable The pigeons everywhere - on the railings for the 2nd floor and walkway; on top of the vending & ice shack. The pigeons wake early and make a loud continual racket
- Rosalind (10/5): - What a great place to stay. Very clean and quiet, great service at check in.
- Don (10/5): - Clean, comfortable, good price, and easy access near major highways. We only needed one night stay, but very comfortable room to get good rest. The front desk clerk (Izzy) that checked us in was very nice and got us taken care of quickly.
- Eduardo (8/5): Very good -
- Jaime (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maksim (8/5): Very good -
- 2_4SXM (10/5): Great experience! - A newer hotel property, the room was very nice, great comfy bed, loved the pillows, and we really liked the ability to use their guest laundry room. The staff were extremely polite and greeted us warmly. It's a relatively quiet area even though the I-5 is down the street. We were really tired from long travels, so the super clean accommodations were extremely welcomed. We were on bottom floor and didn't hear anyone above us. Great place to stay. Pool was lovely, along with the entire complex.
- Joelle (10/5): - Very nice large room, very clean with everything you might need. Excellent customer service. Good breakfast.
- Vasili (5/5): Passable -
- Donald (10/5): Great stay! - A newer hotel just off I-5. Very clean, comfy beds, and quiet. Really nice that they have on-site laundry. Staff very nice!
- Steve (4/5): - Food was terrible.
- Kurt (9/5): Great place to stay for Buttonwillow Raceway - Was a convenient and nicer facility than everything near the 5/58 intersection. Wish there were closer restaurant options
- Robert (10/5): Hotel very good, needs security patrol - My stay was good. Breakfast was terrible as far as choices go. Hot or dry cereal. Pancake maker was there but no batter. OJ was good.
The area near the hotel (mostly the gas station) has gone down tremendously. Pot holes in the road were huge and about 3” deep. Customers at the gas station made you feel your vehicle was at risk.
- Michelle (8/5): - This hotel was clean. If you have an RV this is a good place to stop and rest there is plenty of semi truck parking and the lanes are wide and it’s close to the 5 freeway access.
- Ni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shaoting (10/5): - Good place
- Annie (6/5): - Would not stay there again.
- Christy (9/5): Overall a good experience - Friendly staff, pet friendly Poor WiFi, no good place to exercise pets
