Guest Reviews
- Dolores (10/5): -
- Caitlyn (10/5): - Friendly and clean
- Jayme (1/5): It was a very disappointing stay. - It was in a good area with a lot of food around it. I did not like that it let me book a room for five people two adults, three kids, and there were only two full-size beds with no cots available. It should not be allowed to book for five people if there’s not space for five people to sleep. Even if they are children, they need to have a bed to sleep in. I put the ages in of the kids as well so it’s not like they didn’t know what age or size they were. Also, the rooms had stained sheets and pillowcases. The carpet was stained in the hotel smelled like smoke. The pool area was gross and dirty.
- Elijah (3/5): Not a nice stay. - Location. TV not working. Base of bed sounded like someone beating on duct work anytime I moved. Breakfast was terrible.
- Michael (10/5): -
- Mike (10/5): My stay was very pleasant - The property was very clean and the room was very clean N/A
- Blankenship (10/5): -
- Mills (4/5): I would only recommend this hotel to poor people - The price The breakfast was all microwaved it wasn't very good to eat before work
- Torey (5/5): The staff was poor. I’ve stayed here before and found bedbugs in my room. I was told if I ask for management I could dis -
- Anthony (10/5): -
- Samantha (7/5): - I appreciated ease of check in and out, the officer being present or at least parked on the property. Safe, clean rooms. It happened to be a busy weekend so it was louder with everyone's kids.
- James (9/5): - Hit water beds was nice first time Door dont lick on sides walk in
- Amanda (7/5): -
- Caitlyn (10/5): Great place - I love the people super sweet, rooms cleaned and all in all will stay here everytime and good price :) I love everything
- Christina (8/5): -
- James (7/5): Good - Clean, staff this time was nice No hot water

- Christopher (5/5): Overall, nice hotel as far as cleanliness and was happy with location. As for the rest, I would not stay there again nor - The location was good, plenty of places to grab a bit to eat and things to do We got a room with a jacuzzi tub for our wedding night but it didn’t work. When I told the staff member at the front desk about it all they said was “ok”. No apology. No anything. It was like they could care less. This was the biggest feature about the hotel that got me to stay there being it was the only one around the area that had a jacuzzi tub which I felt was perfect for our wedding night. They didn’t even have any sort of breakfast out the following morning as it was said to have when I book it.
- Melissa (5/5): - The room its self wasbn8ce and clean No staff aro7nd. When we d8d find someone they were extremely rude. Vending machines were old and empty.
- Lindsay (5/5): - It was close to where we needed to be. It was clean. Price was great. The beds were up very, very high. They made an astonishing amount of noise when you shifted on them and they were absolutely not comfortable.
- Sarah (7/5): -
- Courtni (10/5): -
- Jeremy (10/5): - Very nice safe area. No concerns
- Robert (6/5): Overpriced for a hotel that doesn’t take customer satisfaction to heart. - Easy access to shopping and food Staff was rude, amenities were sub par. Jacuzzi tub in room didn’t work. Breakfast was laughable
- Joseph (8/5): -
- Joseph (7/5): - Great breakfast and location.
- Joseph (9/5): - It was a nice hot breakfast and they let me park my car in the parking lot on Sunday after I checked out until 5:00. A friendly and more polite person at the desk on Sunday when I returned for my car at 5:00.
- Linda (10/5): Slept well, surprised by pet fee - The hotel was immaculately clean. Staff were friendly. I booked a pet room online and paid for it. When I got to the desk I was informed that there was a $20 "pet fee" in addition to my prior payment. Because pet is one of the booking choices, the price should be on your site.
- Patrick (3/5): Disappointing. - Price was ok Jets in tub broken, shower was loud when water was running, another guests children outside being loud at 11pm. Room had musty smell, walls were not clean, hallway lights were not working well.
- Sharon (6/5): Its a so so motel - The convenience of where we were going. Ample parking! The staff was not very welcoming. Just business like personality. They acted like they were doing me a favor for letting me stay instead of being appreciative that I was staying with them. Even during a confirmation phone call the gentleman that answered the phone was just down right rude.
Also, they have a second floor with no elevators....we had to change the reservation to a street level room. Keep this in mind when you make reservations there. My sister can't go up steps at the moment without help.
- Courtney (5/5): We had a alright time but it was boring. With no pool. - Room was clean The pool wasn’t open, whole reason why we went to that hotel. No bath plugs. Took breakfast food down early.
- Jessica (5/5): It was ok but we will be going to another hotel next year. - The room was a good size and they were very close to where we wanted to be / who we were visiting. Shower was great and always had clean towels. Less than 24 hours into our stay we informed them we had no cable/ tv. They said they’d fix it but never did. We went the entire week without tv. Also every time cleaning service would come into the room our room keys no longer worked after them. We had to wait until cleaning service came before we left.

- Finch (10/5): - Everything was great there... Nothing didn't like
- Blankenship (10/5): -
- Finch (10/5): - It was clean, everything worked like it should... Workers was friendly and helpful.. Have stayed a few times and has been excellent Everytime. Nothing I didnt like
- Finch (10/5): -
- Imjalli (1/5): Don't waste your money. - Didn't like anything The room had blood splattered on the ceiling. The shower was filthy. Food down the wall. Hair in the most uncomfortable bed. Bathroom floor sticky. The side door to get into building didn't even lock. The smell was horrible. The door had a gap so big when closed you could see into the hallway. Didn't feel safe to be there. Tried to get help and they didn't speak English or understand me.
- DEBRA (8/5): -
- Ginny (10/5): Had an AMAZING stay!! - The room was beautiful the colors made it have a good vibe.. The kids loved the pool. The surroundings weren't busy. It was a really good stay..
Very Clean.
And PET FRIENDLY plenty of space for walks..
Would definitely recommend!!! Great Price also!! I couldn't stay longer 😂
- bartholomew (5/5): - Plenty of parking Breakfast not ready
- Willey (5/5): -
- Robert (3/5): Disappointing. With some modest renovation, good maintenance, and better staffing, it could be an attractive place to s - Some renovations (short surround and bathrooms tile) were attractive, but maintenance was poor, e.g. deep scratches in the bathroom door, worn and dirty carpets in the hallways. Poor maintenance, low quality breakfast.
- Cody (10/5): -
- Leighton (8/5): Very acceptable, I would stay there again. - The location was very nice, just off the expressway, several fast foods available over very close. The breakfast was poor at best
- Ken (10/5): -
- Jon (10/5): I’ll definitely be back - It was close to everything There wasn’t anything to dislike
- Michelle (8/5): - The room was clean. Everything worked in the room. Staff was very polite
- Edward (10/5): - Clean
- amy (4/5): Never got checked in - We ended up cancelling our stay. We were in town for a wedding. We had to be at the rehearsal by five. When we arrived at 1pm, they were willing to check us in but couldn’t guarantee that there would be water to shower. The Plummer was working on a leak. We found another option in the area and left.
- Edward (10/5): - People were nice
- Keith (5/5): -
- Haley (10/5): - Always a clean place to stay staff is super nice
- Kelsey (10/5): -
- Richard (9/5): -
- Herman (5/5): - Our room and inside the property was clean. The lady and gentleman cleaning the rooms were very nice. I looked at the breakfast provided and it looked like something my grandchildren might have in their toy kitchen. Very unappealing, microwave eggs, sausages and something I’m not sure of. Word to the wise bring your own or find a place to eat elsewhere.
Upon check in the lady who checked us in was not friendly at all, no smile no kind words nothing. The only thing she ask for was my name and told me my room number. I thought maybe she’s tired so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. The next morning she was just as bad as she stood outside smoking by the door. Throughout the whole stay she was not one bit friendly. Now I’m not looking for a new friend but if I’m giving you my hard earned money to stay at your hotel don’t you think you would be friendly and grateful. There were cigarette butts on the ground near the door/drive as well as trash right at the entrance. If you go out to smoke by the door you should probably pick up the trash and cigarette butts. When we visit the area again we will stay elsewhere.
- Tammie (1/5): Very uncomfortable and had me searching for bugs due to the lack of cleanliness. - Location First room full of fleas (130), leaking ceiling in hallway being caught by an overflowing bucket, Switched rooms (250), carpet nasty in both rooms, recliner dirty with food, pool area and pool very cold, pool water so low the skimmer was not working, bed springs popped loudly every time I moved making sleep difficult, employees not very friendly and offered very little assistance. I will not be choosing to stay with Countryside Inn for our future travels.
- Carol (10/5): Very clean. Staff courteous -
- Buckingham (6/5): -
- Mark (6/5): -
- Regina (6/5): Ok for a overnight stay. - Right off freeway. Restaurant attached. Breakfast area was actually decent sized and plenty of choices. Rooms were outdated. Not super clean. There was a dehumidifier in our room. Never seen that before.
- Lori (1/5): It sucked no elavator - Nothing are air conditioning leaked on the carpet It was dirty and the people were rude
- Bonnierose (10/5): - Clean great
- J. (4/5): Price of a hotel for motel quality - Convent location to an event we were attending Right when we walked into our room we were hit with the smell of smoke. We turned the sheets down only to find several stains on the sheets and noticed the towels had several stains.
- Alice (5/5): - Back that they could get is in last minute it was nice They failed to mention that the pool was closed that was the main reason for going
- Brian (8/5): Perfect stopover - This is a very convenient, easily accessible, reasonably priced, property run by a hands on staff working hard to catch up on some deferred maintenance. Lots of food options nearby. Overall, I would stay there again if in the area.
- Debra (6/5): - Price was affordable and overall room was comfortable and updated. Continental breakfast was not great. Very limited choices.
- Gary (8/5): -
- Clint (1/5): Don’t stay no matter what kinda deal you get. - Nothing Dirty, smelled, staff wasn’t attentive.
- Chuck (10/5): - Nice, clean room.
- Gerold (1/5): They owe me two nights - I paid for three nights and had a family with kids above my head two nights stomping on the floor all night keeping me awake
- Vera (9/5): Superb - Good Good
- Mike (10/5): Excellent home base - Everything was excellent. Check in was a breeze, and reception knew the area well. Continental breakfast included hot and cold options. Room was clean, spacious, and quiet. Pool area looked nice, did not use it. Wifi worked and i got some work done in the small lobby space. Mammoth Cave in KY was a doable day trip. Serpent Mound was nearby, and went to Ripley for the underground railroad stop. This hotel was a great home base for the trip.
- Frank (7/5): Good -
- Brookbank (6/5): Pleasant -
- Christina (8/5): Very good - Quiet and affordable
- Steven (8/5): Very good -
- Scott (8/5): What can I say! - What can I say! What can I say!
- Chet (7/5): Good -
- Heather (2/5): - Beds were like sleeping on a popping air mattress. We kept thinking we heard gun shots because every time one of the kids would roll over the bed would pop the springs so loud. Constant smell of marijuana. Cigarette burns on the toilet. Check in was rude and asked for my credit card and identification so when I handed to her I saw her taking a copy of my credit card. Check out was a different person so he was nice. The pool was gross and cloudy, couldn’t even see the bottom. Disgusting.
- Patrick (10/5): - always clean, and friendly easy check in
- Merady (10/5): Exceptional -
- Taylor (9/5): Superb - Location, room was clean, the bed was comfortable . When checking in didn't have room on 1st floor. I told him health reasons we couldn't climb steps. So he moved us to handicap room. Breakfast, we ate first morning. We went out the other two. Staff . For a handicap room tub was to deep. When stepping out to high overtop to floor. Good for safety bars. I almost fell.
- CLARIBEL (10/5): Road trip hotel - It's a nice place, clean and quiet. For a night in a RT, it's perfect.
- Michael (8/5): - It was peaceful.
- Bonnie (8/5): Very good -
- Rachael (2/5): - Recently stayed for a night during check in she was rude. I either had to pay $100 more if I was paying cash( with a current credit card on file) or pay with a card and got charged a fee for paying with a card. There were no towels at the pool so we used the ones from our room and went to the desk to get more towels. We were meet with attitude about needing new towels. Our wash cloths in our room had large holes in them. The sign said breakfast is served at 7 on the weekends so we decided to stay longer to get breakfast however when we went down stairs to load our car and get breakfast they hadn’t put anything out. We decided to just check out. We rang the bell with no answer. Within the span of 30 minutes 3 more guests trying to check out also rang the bell with no answer until one continued to ring the bell until she came out. It was very obvious she was sleeping in the back and had just woken up. She gave attitude when we asked for a receipt. Breakfast still hadn’t been served by the time we left. I was also unable to contact the company because the only thing I could find was for their front desk.
- Troy (10/5): Great Place to stay - The property was great. Location was great with Kroger's, fuel stations, and restaurants close by. The AC unit in room 129 had a bad pounding sound all night.
- Bonnie (6/5): - The lady at the front desk was not friendly when checking in. My son and I went to eat breakfast at 7am, there was no breakfast. We wanted to eat before we headed to his baseball tournament at 8am. Since there was no breakfast went to check out. There wasn't anyone working the front desk. There were several people in the lobby. We waited a few minutes for someone to come, they never did. I just left my keys on the front desk and left.
- Connie (10/5): - The stay was great
- Julie (2/5): - We found a bed bug 20 minutes after checking in
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional - Would stay there again. Great location!
- Jacob (8/5): Very good -
