- Gemma (8/5): Great weekend getaway - We have a history with this hotel so we're kinda biased. Hilton has added facilities and it's great. The room we had felt a bit dated, though clean. Could use better pillows and a firmer bed. We didn't dislike anything.

Love that every room has a balcony or patio. The proximity to the beach, Nicine woods and Marianne’s ice cream were major highlights. Only complaint I had was my mattress had dips and valleys. It needed replacement. My partners bed was very comfortable.

I wish I felt more compelled to come back because I do love the - Location is great, thats what makes this a desirable hotel for me...see next box about dissatisfaction I love this hotel and have been coming for 20 years. Ever since Hilton has owned it, I have really been disappointed with the parking fee. These types of hidden fees make me feel like I'm being taken advantage of right at the check in and as such, I didn't feel a warm welcome here. I would appreciate the fee being stated up front if you must charge but why not give your guests free parking? Also, very small, but why charge $3 for a water bottle? I feel way more welcomed at hotels where the simplest of gestures, such as a complementary bottle of water, create a warm generous welcome. I love the grounds at this hotel- pool, spa- but just go the distance and give your guests an experience with a bit less "nickle and diming"...that will go a long way to make a more quality experience. You can really feel the bottom line here (making money) and less emphasis on the guest's experience.

The room did have an odd smell, but it either went away or I got used to it. If you shower with the door open, steam will set off the fire alarm.

Parking was easy rooms were clean pretty Koi pond that you can sit next to and have your breakfast or your coffee in the morning. The pool is green on the walls inside of the pool and the jacuzzi wasn’t hot enough and towels were always lacking

Close to everything had a little gym that was nice and nobody was in it every morning. The pool in the center of the property was a nice feature. The rooms were nicely updated and looked like they had been recently remodeled. Our room wasn’t cleaned any day we were there. The pool is incredibly dated and the plaster is wearing off. It looks really old in the water was green The facility is all wood and there’s a lot of dry rod and chipping paint throughout. The interior is nice, but the exterior looks worn and run down

The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We requested housekeeping on two different days and it never got cleaned. We were traveling with two toddlers and had to eat in our room, we went to the beach….. lots of sand and crumbs.

I really liked how comfortable the bed and pillows were. I didn’t like that there wasn’t any hand soap by the sink. I also didn’t like that the room sliding glass doors were filthy as well as parts of the room. I also didn’t like that the hotels Jacuzzi was down for maintenance. That would have been nice to have known before booking.
- Angelina (6/5): Gorgeous weather… Gorgeous location, issues with Property and restaurant - I typically love this property and come here when I can, it’s close to family and it’s beautiful-however this particular trip was a bit more difficult Hot tub was closed and we were sad about that… Also, I tripped and fell really hard on a bit of broken walkway-whole food was not as good as it is typically… and the mattress was not nearly as comfortable as it is typically -potentially a new mattress needed -overall not as enjoyable as it is usually, but the weather was beautiful

- Jessica (2/5): Waste of money! - The property is very charming. I was so excited to finally stay here as my good friend told me about this place raving about the hot tub. After an almost 5 Hour Dr. I get to check in and the lady in the front informed me that the hot tub was down and under repairs. I let her know I knew nothing about it. She said it was posted on the website and they let their third-party companies know about it. I said I wasn’t aware of that and I was super upset and bummed out. went back to my room with my three girls and took a hot shower. The next day we went and ventured, came back to use the pool to hear nothing but jackhammering the entire time. This trip was meant for relaxation and turned into a nightmare. - Lorraine (8/5): Lovely hotel great value for money. Good location - Lovely hotel, great value for money, staff were very good breakfast was great. Only complaint is we were upstairs right beside the pool, normally i would love this but the neighbors were extra noisy going out on there balcony through the night talking very loudly. Next time i will ask for a much quieter area. A much quieter area with no noise

- Linda (10/5): It was lovely and comfy and I slept well which does not usually happen when I stay in hotels. - Loved the Koi pond and the bridge over it. The check in counter and large x-mas tree was spectacular and the grounds were beautiful. Beds were great as was the bathroom.....especially liked the bed headboards which I am probably the only guest that noticed. I can't think of anything.....you even had snacks in the lobby ......which we did buy and consume with relish. Candy and potato chips....what could be better? O.K. maybe if you added some all chocolate bars with no nuts or anything else in them.

Schoon hotel heel vriendelijke staff goede kamers, ruime kamers faciliteiten zoals zwembad is heel goed en zeer schoon goed restaurant. heerlijke maaltijden. parkeerplaats voor je hotelkamer handdoekenwissel zelf om gevraagd 5 dagen geen kamerschoonmaak gehad

- Karen (5/5): It was just OK, but I’m disappointed that they haven’t refunded me portion of my two out of three nights that like the h - It was easy to find right out the freeway by difficult to pull in and out of as cross traffic was on and off the freeway and very busy The guest in room 510 was smoking and smoking, and it filled up the hallway that creeped under my door. There were also a fleas in my room that I complained about nobody cared. Nobody did anything for me.

Comfortable room - appropriate for someone who needed roomy bathroom w/ grab bars and space to maneuver a walker. My mother ( me again answering for her) doesn’t like paying for bottled water in a hotel room.

- Rebecca (7/5): Comfortable and good location. - The location was easy on/off Hwy 1 access. Close to Seacliff State Park that was beautiful! Room was nothing special but comfortable. If you are a light sleeper ask NOT to be in buildings 1 or 2 which are right next to the hwy and there was traffic. Also, they charge you for the bottles of water in the room. Even lower end hotel give you a complementary bottle of drinking water.
