They lied and said they gave us our deposit back. It was cheap. The chairs were broken. The room wasn’t worth as much as it was. The hotel looked like it needed to be remodeled 10 years ago.

• David (1/5): When they get the building up to code it will be a good place to stay. - Site is being remodeled. First floor was mostly blocked off. There evidently was a problem with the sprinklers and fire system and construction was red carded and marked unsafe for occupancy by the City. Another notice on the door said Occupancy was not permitted after 72 hours from posting on 3/11/25. Reservations were being cancelled, beyond 72 hours They should have called us and explained the situation ahead of time or cancelled our reservation too. We only planned to stay 1 night or we would have left. This building permit issue either is resolved or the site is shut down by now.
• Elisabeth (4/5): Ruined Anniversary! - So when I checked in, the hotel door had a notice to vacate the premises. I still checked in because the man at the front desk said it was not a problem. By the morning the place was condemned. If I had known that the place was under construction I would not have stayed there. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and the place was not good experience. Parking area dark. I didn't feel safe. Electrical panels were left open not safe. I am looking forward to getting a refund. 200 dollar plus room should be safe and comfortable.

• Taylor (6/5): A bit overpriced, but does the job. - We liked the location and how close it was to the beach and downtown Huntington. The bathroom in the room was updated and nice. The staff were very nice and helpful. The rest of the room was okay, not great but not terrible. The bed was okay, but the pillows were incredibly small / not a standard pillow size / and were uncomfortable to sleep with. The entire bottom level of the hotel was under construction, something that was NOT disclosed when booking the hotel, and was only made aware when checking in.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Dirty - Views are blocked due to a largo condo complex and despite the hotel having barely any people they gave me a room at the back of property. I paid for a higher floor but my view sucked. The room was not clean, stained sheets, cup rings on every surface, and my feet were filthy after walking barefoot on the dirty floor. Beds are worn out not comfy. Place is dirty and for the price it is a complete rip off.

They told us it was because of the 'fires,' but the signal was on—we just couldn't connect. Every other nearby place with WiFi was working perfectly. We chose this place for a business trip, so at times, we really needed WiFi. That being said, the price-quality ratio was really good, so it was still a decent option.

Be mindful that the hotel is doing renovations so they do not have breakfast currently, but a good local coffee shop is a 2 block walk. • Verified traveler (6/5): Wouldn’t visit again until construction is done. - Check in process was quick and easy and front desk guys were friendly. Had to pay $15/night for parking which I was aware of already. We stayed in a renovated room on the second floor (#205). The room looked nice but some things were a little off. The balcony door was really hard to open and then close and lock. The bed did not have a comforter on it, only two sheets with a thin blanket in between. Bathroom was small but nicely done! There’s a Bluetooth speaker in the mirror that turns on with the light switch. The room we had was on the north side of the hotel so we had a partial view of the ocean but a full view of the houses being built about 15ft away from the balcony. This is not the room you can sleep in and have a lazy morning. Construction starts happening around 7am/8am. This is a basic hotel right now with hardly any amenities. I’m not sure when construction will be done on the hotel and at the property next door, but I’d probably avoid it until then.

There were no amenities, and the partial View required you to lean over the balcony railing for a sliver of a view. Everything outside of the room was dingy and dirty and the hotel desk clerk was rude and condescending.
• Jason (1/5): sucks no heated pool they lied - 12 mins from beach was good we stayed at the huntington for new years night room 426, we only booked it because it says it has a indoor heated pool , they lied, because of need surgery i needed that swim witch i have to do 2 times a day at home . if not it hurts to walk or sleep, we got there at 4 checked in room 426 then i have to swim for min 15 went down to pool ice cold water , so i new if the heater was it would take hours to heat up , so i asked the front desk hot to turn on the hot tub and heater for hot tub , she stayed , it has been broken for about 5 months now , waiting on repairs , that's a lie i am sure they just don't care about swimmers that would book that place just for the pool, plus there was about 20 towels just laying all over the floor, and in the restroom by pool , there was about 10 towel on the floor next to trash can , you can tell staff has not been in there all day to clean that stuff up, we had to go book a new stay down the street with a heated indoor pool , hotel huntington should remove the heated pool part off the web page in fixed . i would like a full refund or another free night stay when pool is fixed . jason mcleod room 426 9096003706 and the bar and restaurant we closed for new years

The only issue (which wasn’t the hotel’s fault) was the building construction going on next door that created an ugly view off my balcony and some noise in the morning. You can literally see the construction workers outside your window. Make sure to keep your windows closed at night in the morning. They’re not looking in.

This rooms are decent with a balcony looking towards the ocean, but you only get a partial view as the rooms are to the right or to the left. There is construction in the building on the 1st floor, but I didn't mind it being that my room was on the 3rd floor. Underground parking is $15 and the security deposit for the room is $100. The bathroom is decent and they definitely could use better towels. Overall, they are now going for a modern look with the renovations but it's more on the IKEA level. Overall, I would definitely stay again if I need a reasonable place to crash that's across from the beach and walking distance to all of the shops.

I’ve stayed at several hotels and this is the first where I’m charged a separate fee.

• Andre (2/5): “Partial Ocen View” - This hotel is a joke, we got a “Partial Ocean View” on the second floor, no partial view of the ocean, the first 3 rooms might have a partial view of the ocean and on the 3rd floor but not the before last room… it’s on the middle or remodel, construction is early and they go late! First and last time staying here, save your money and go somewhere else. Don’t fall for the partial ocean view is a scam!!! Also come to find out with my wife, that not only did they stole a couple of gold chains but also went through our belongings looking for items to steal.

• Melissa (4/5): Bla bla - There was supposed to be an included breakfast bar. We arrived and found the hotel under construction with no amenities included. I don’t normally grab anything from a breakfast bar but coffee so not that big of a deal. However even the ice machine did not work. Kinda lame
• Charlee (2/5): Construction and very loud - It was right across the street from the beach. I booked through booking.com for dates 12/4-12-6. Booked it for a get away for my bday to enjoy the beach view on the balcony. On booking.com it said I would have a sea view, I get to the hotel and they said it was partial view. That’s not what booking said on the website. So I had a room with a very little partial view of the beach and full view of construction. Couldn’t even keep my curtains open because the construction workers where working directly across from my room which was very uncomfortable. Also it was very loud where I couldn’t sleep.

• octavio (8/5): - Convenient and clean, practical hotel close to everything. Could use some TLC, but a good place for the price.
• Cory (8/5): - Great location & great price. Room looked recently updated. Bed could have been more comfortable, but for the price I was happy with the room.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Band competition stay - The room was ok. In the process of being renovated. The fan /heater was not working in our room. Glad we brought extra blankets.Location was awesome! Short walk to the pier and main street.

• Daniel (2/5): - There was a big red sign right at the front door that said the first floor of the structure was unsafe to occupy. It was dirty dingy, I’d suggest staying literally anywhere else. Construction going on next door. It’s just was not worth the money.

• Jason (6/5): - What i didn't like much is how the streaming service didnt work like youtube or Netflix, but got other channels not much interesting to watch. The staff a great and nice to talk to
