Guest Reviews
- Christopher (5/5): OK value, but didn't knock my socks off. - The location was decent - close to the interstate and the main north-south road through Russellville. The price was OK. I liked that breakfast was included. Breakfast wasn't great, but it was decent at this price point. My main complaint is that the room wasn't very clean. When I closed the bathroom door, I saw a bunch of dirt and hair behind it, like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. Other areas were in need of cleaning as well, like the sink area. Also the connection to the shower head leaked and sprayed water all over the ceiling. The bed was noisy and the pillows felt cheap. This hotel room doors open to the parking lot, which makes it more of a motel. It's convenient for loading and unloading a car or truck, but it makes the room noisier. The other Best Westerns I have stayed in all had interior hallways.
- Paula (10/5): Our stay was pleasant. - Clean, friendly. Good breakfast N/A
- Michael (6/5): - Location. Convenience. Welcoming staff. Phone and tv both weren't working but we're both fixed soon after reporting. Clean but tired. Lots of smokers outside.
- David (8/5): -
- Yamille (1/5): Find another hotel to stay at - The only good thing about the property was that it was pet friendly. Bugs on the carpet, sink was completely clogged, tub was dirty, AC unit sounded like an 18 wheeler was next to you every time it turned on. Room smelled like someone had just cooked in there (it smelled bad). Curtain was ripped. Seriously looked like a stash house.
It was so bad we didn’t stay the entire time, but bc we were 2 hours past checkout due to college checkout we were charged the whole stay.
- Jessica (1/5): - There was dog hair every where not in a good location to get out you can smell sewage in the room.
- Taylor (7/5): -
- Dennis (5/5): OK for a night - One night during a long road trip. Bed fine for one night. The taco truck in the parking lot was pretty good. Breakfast was OK by American hotel standards, which are pretty low. Location was halfway to where I needed to go so it worked. Breakfast starts at 5 so was able to get an early start. Old style of outside entrances. Two story and no first floor rooms so I had to carry everything upstairs. Not a place to leave things in the car. Second floor walkway was aging gravel with lots of holes. Very noisy to pull luggage across. A little below Best Western standards.
- Schaffer (4/5): moist room. gross. - breakfast was fine, staff was nice and friendly. location was great. room was moist and ac didn't work well. cobwebs everywhere. slightly smelly and ac was on full blast for 3 days and never made the room comfortable.
- Lorraine (9/5): -
- Natalie (3/5): - Staff was nice Room wasn't worth the price. Beds were awful
- Filiowich (9/5): We would stay here again. - Very helpful front desk & hospitality staff! Breakfast was very mediocre
- Lorna (8/5): - The bathroom could have been cleaner
- Jeffrey (9/5): - Front desk lady was great! Outdated facility
- Charles (9/5): -
- Jessie (10/5): - I had been on rode for 21 hrs was told they had a bar they did not but the room was probably the nicest id stayed in in a long time and I travel quite often No bar lol
- Karen M (10/5): -
- Daniel (5/5): I will not stay at this facility again. - Spider web in room under sink.
Ice machines not working,
Bed okay.
Breakfast ran out of eggs and hash browns 1 hour and fifteen mins before stated end of breakfast.
Doors on outside of motel. The picture on website made it seem like the rooms were accessible from inside the building. I would not have chosen this place had I known,
Back set of rooms were unlit. Gave a creepy vibe.
Great location.
Broken drain stopper in bathtub.
- John (8/5): -
- Deborah (5/5): - Breakfast ran out long before the time allotted.
No bathroom in lobby.
- Cullington (5/5): - Clean breakfast room. Good selection of tv Room was dirty. The chair I didn't dare sit in was stained and dirty. The mattress cover stained.
- Jackie (8/5): -
- Terri (4/5): - It was a very good location and it was very convenient to get in and out of The bed was VERY uncomfortable!!
- yun (8/5): - good value and nice breakfast
- Christopher (10/5): -
- Candia (8/5): Not the best but we could make do - Location, price Poor Tv reception, small bathroom, underwhelming breakfast choices
- Brittany (7/5): Gave it a try and probably will NOT stay again. - I thought the location was great. Right next to Old South (delicious) and Colton’s. Gas station next door and right off the interstate. Easy access to get to the places you need to go. Did not try the breakfast so not sure how that was. Prices for sodas at the front are very reasonable and the staff was super sweet. The cleanliness of the room. The shower needed a good scrubbing, the counter on the sink had white speckles of dust all over it. White towels had stains and I did not use the stained towels. The drawers for storage were caked with dust and the refrigerator was dirty. Room was also super small for the price we paid!
- Steven (10/5): -
- Keck (6/5): You all have a friendly accommodating staff but are lacking in cleanliness. - The location was convenient to the interstate, not too far a drive from our meetings, and surrounded by a number of options to eat. The staff was very friendly and polite and probably the best part of our experience. The floors were not clean except for the main walking areas. Unfortunately while taking a shower you get to stand in water. The mattress was a little firm for my taste, only slightly softer than sleeping on the floor. There were a few 'marks' on the beadspread and one of the bathroom towels had a yellowish orange stain in the middle of the towel.
- Carney (7/5): -
- Mary (10/5): - This Best Western is an exceptional value. From the courteous and helpful staff to the clean and well maintained rooms to the many adjacent restaurant options to the hot breakfast, it all makes for a very pleasant stay at a darn good price!
- Robbi (6/5): - The beds could've been more comfortable
- Ricky (6/5): - Room was neat. A little older in decor. The window sheer was ripped in multiple places. While the tub lower area and toilet was clean, the shower walls had multiple pubic hairs on them. The shower curtain appeared to have multiple spots of black mold.
- Rebecca (4/5): - Carpet was dirty and dusty, baseboards had so much dust on them I could have written my name on them. furniture dusty. Cigarette buds all outside on walkways and in front of my door. Bed was clean but not much else. Walkways were chipped and stone was loose and coming off.
- William (10/5): - Easy in and out, good breakfast, nice staff. Front desk very accommodating
- Carol (10/5): - Nice room
- Jonathan (1/5): -
- Lacey (10/5): - Great stay. Thank you
- Deborah (9/5): I have stayed there two times and each time I come to Russellville I will stay there it is a good price - It was a good location walking distance to some nice restaurants
The staff was excellent very accommodating All of the smoking rooms were taken
But I should of booked earlier
- Richard (10/5): - Great location. Clean room. The only negative was that there gnats or fruit flies in the room.
- Victoria (6/5): - The people are very friendly, but bed was very hard and the room it self could be updated it was clean but i dont think i would stay there again
- Jimmie (9/5): -
- peter (8/5): - Close to everything
- Tara (6/5): -
- Traveller (8/5): Well managed place with nice rooms and good breakfast. - I was able to checkin early.
- Meghan (8/5): -
- Jackie (10/5): - Walking to local steak house which was across the parking lot.
- Lois (10/5): Front desk clerk Mallory was outstanding went our of her way to help us. - Breakfast was great. Scrambled eggs, potatoes, biscuits & gravy sausage, plus other great sides & waffles. Outstanding.
- GREG (10/5): TV remote. - Rooms ok , but the TV remote is annoying to operate
- Tammy (6/5): - The entrance to the room was outside
- Marcie (10/5): Excellent Stay! - The grandkids and I had a wonderful stay, though it was only overnight. The beds were extremely comfortable, which made grandma VERY happy! We had a wonderful night's rest. The kids were super excited to see breakfast had a waffle maker!
- John (5/5): Passable - The beds were good. Smokers right outside the entrance doors and stairwell. Spent a bit of time killing flies and other bugs in both rooms we had. Sinks not draining. Expected the "Best Western" type facility....more like a Super 8.
- Edward (10/5): Exceptional -
- marylee (10/5): - Great place!
- Shauntele (4/5): - There were dirty clothes left from the people before us, I cleaned up water from the carpet and the towel was dark brown, housekeeping kept coming by super early to clean the room, the pool was out of service, the washer and dryer was out of service, where the ice machine is located isn’t shown very well
- brandon (4/5): - The dance party upstairs. The crackheads in the parking lot. How this place has 8.0 of 10 stars is beyond my comprehension. The nice lady at the front desk 10/10 though.
- Heidi (3/5): The bathroom and bed seemed clean, the carpeting, not so much. The exterior and interior of the building were filthy! - Location, price Filthy! No elevator
- Marvin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard J (10/5): - Didn't like the loud A/C system.
- Todd (6/5): - Every thing was dirty and run down. Ice machine had cobwebs on it, no shampoo in room
- Tifney (10/5): - It was the perfect location for our weekend travel ball tournament. The front desk lady was phenomenal. She made our check in and check out very easy. We were even able to check in early which really helped us avoid the heat during an off period of the tournament. Breakfast was provided which was very convenient. The beds were a little hard, but overall a great place for an overnight stay.
- Explore58380806489 (4/5): Disappointed to the hotel - 1. We noticed several flies and small fruit bugs in our room. It appears the room was not properly sanitized, which was quite disappointing and a first for us.
2. Our room was not cleaned on Monday, June 16. We had to inform the front desk to address this issue.
3. The washer and dryer available were quite old and dirty. We believe they need to be replaced to meet acceptable cleanliness standards.
- Vicki (4/5): we were able to get a few hours of sleep, but would definitely not stay there again - Close to the freeway and Starbucks was real close too we were told we could park right in front of our room and when we got there, there was a barbecue in the parking spot. There were people on the upstairs balcony, drinking beer and talking loudly until late hours. The towels were stained the sheets were stained, and there was food and empty soda bottles on the floor under the air conditioner and under the desk.
- Lynn (6/5): - Perfectly located; clean!!
- Dave (10/5): Exceptional -
- ellynnr2016 (10/5): Great Spanking Clean Hotel in Russellville - The hotel was conveniently located near the highway, it was very clean and the front manager could not have been nicer. Changed our room so it would be quieter, and gave us two bottles of water. Lots of nice restaurants within 1 to 2 miles of the hotel.
- Sarah (10/5): - Beds were very comfortable. Our original room smelled like cigarette smoke but the front desk staff apologized and immediately gave us another room which was clean and comfortable. Good breakfast, and it starts at 5am which is great for hitting the road early. Perfect for just a one night stay on the road
- Linda (8/5): - Rooms were clean & tidy. Staff was friendly &
- Terese M (6/5): - The property was fine. Our check-in was a little difficult as as had changed our reservation through Expedia to check-in a day early. The clerk did not want to check our phone to check the new confirmation for the change. She finally figured out there was a change and discovered the night person has not done their job correctly. She was courteous throughout the whole process and apologetic as to the error.
- Mack (8/5): Very good - It was really good
- donnabV5786RX (10/5): Clean Room, great breakfast - After looking at reviews on here and on google, I was a bit hesitant, but that changed quickly, from check in to check out the entire staff was very kind and professional. The breakfast had plenty of options and the front desk lady stated it started at 5am when most start at 6. It really helps with some of us who have a early start. Would definitely recommend this motel to anyone!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Needs more attention and lower prices - Checking in was simple and the staff was nice. The room was a little disappointing though. It was not really clean when we entered and after checking things could tell it was in need of a deep clean. The biggest thing was probably the mildew in the bathroom.
- donna (10/5): - Traveling across country, very nice comfortable room, great location for travel
- 168WilliamS (2/5): Beware the wolf in sheep's clothing! - This hotel is very dated and though there has been attempts to rigjt this, it has fallen short. I checked with Best Western in the policy to keep Bibles in the rooms is up to the owner of the hotel. I was lied to by the counter person who told me that Best Western no longer required them when in fact every other Best Western I visited during my latest trip had them in their rooms. I received an email from the manager of the hotel telling me I would not be rented to again because of my religious beliefs. This is the new face of Best Western woke and Godless. Remember the truth shall set you free. I appreciate the Gideon's placing Bibles at the other Best Westerns yearly As Told to me by these other establishments.
- Ashton (6/5): Pleasant - Sheets were clean but looked and felt like that had been put through the wringer.
- Randa (10/5): Nice hotel - It was clean, staff was very nice and helpful.
- Kenneth (10/5): Great place to stay - Friendly and helpful staff, hot breakfast set up early every morning. Dryer wasn’t working and a staff member dried my travel partners clothes for him.
- Jill (8/5): - Nothing fancy but clean. We were traveling Thur and needed a place to sleep for the nigjt
- David (6/5): Just what we needed for the night - Breakfast was good and location was good, satisfied overall with our stay Beds need to be replaced, mine was too hard and the other one was worn out with a rut in it.
- James (5/5): Stay was fine - The room was big and comfortable The location, the sheets were ripped in places, and the fact that people stood outside their rooms smoking marijuana
- Holly (6/5): - The bathroom light was out. And one of the lamps. Check in is way too late. We went to check in around 11:30. The front desk person said we could not check in until 3, unless we paid an extra $25. It would be nice to be able to check in before 3 after a long drive. Other than that everything was clean, people employees were very nice.
- Cynthia (10/5): - Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection was very good.
- Cynthia (10/5): - The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. There was also a very good selection of breakfast items. I would surely stay again.
- JUAN (10/5): - Perfect place to stay! Clean. Friendly.
- jesshJ812EK (2/5): Rooms need clean better and repairs needed - Toilet seat broken, bathroom light blinking off and on non-stop, a used mascara wipe in the ice bucket, non working ice machine, poop smear on the back of bathroom door. Dirt build-up in the corners of bathroom. Front of fridge had not been cleaned. (Mold build up?) Not enough towels for 4 people . Stains on bedding. No one was at the front desk for 5mins to check out until I said something to the lady stocking breakfast that I needed to be at a tournament in 15mins. This room was disgusting for a $100 night stay!
- klutzWestBend (8/5): Good one night stay - The hotel is very 1960's. The first room we were assigned had huge patches of ice out side of door. They were good about giving us another room. The bed was good and breakfast was good. Nice restaurant within walking distance. Close to 40, but not noisy.
- Cindysue (7/5): Good -
- Austin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Beebe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Justin (10/5): Exceptional -
- 1bigtexan (8/5): Great stay for the money - The bed was very comfortable and water was nice and hot. Bathroom was also very clean. Stayed for 3 nights and never had any issues. Carpet could be cleaned or replaced. Overall for the rate we were very satisfied and will stay here again in the future.
- Shelbie (10/5): - Very clean and staff was friendly. Thanks for a great stay.
- Ardith (10/5): Exceptional - Cleanliness
- Margaret (9/5): Superb -
- Christina (8/5): - The stay was good. Check-in was perfect, gave me all the information I needed at that time. The room was amazing, however you could tell it had not been cleaned properly from the previous stay. The floor did not look like it was vaccumed, I found clothing that did not belong to anyone from my party in the chair, other than that though the room was perfect.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Virlinda (6/5): - Its older but clean. Bed could be softer. But worked fine for an overnight stay.
- James (8/5): Good place with a fair value - Conveniently located, fair price.
- Brian (8/5): OK - AS YOU ALREADY KNOW . A BIT OUTDATED . WHICH I KNEW BEFORE I GOT THERE BUT IT WAS CLEAN AND WHAT I EXPECTED
- Larry (10/5): - Good lighting,friendly, good breakfast quiet.
