Only one staff person working desk, preparing food and cleaning up. So food ran out. Bugs in the bathroom second morning and no one st desk when we left so couldn't tell anyone. Also room needs a massive overhaul. Dirt in corners of bathroom. Beds very uncomfortable.

- Anthony (6/5): - Couldn’t check in at check in time. Had to wait until 4PM to get into the room after a 16 hour drive. Once we got into the room we noticed flies near the bathroom area. Throughout our 3 day stay the flies seemed to multiply. No point complaining to the staff because it feels like they are just going through the motions and don’t really care. I stay here because it’s convenient.

Refrigerator was making a knocking noise was told it was going to be taken care of it wasn’t until I had to say something again. Then I fell at the property and was injured. Informed desk and they seemed like they didn’t care. I’m putting a picture of where I fell.
- Kathi (8/5): - The room itself wasn’t bad and the beds are comfortable but the bathroom is disgusting. There are bugs in the shower, some are alive and some are dead. The fan that automatically comes on when you turn the bathroom light on is ridiculously loud and the lighting in the bathroom is so bad that it will be impossible for me to put any makeup on in there and I can’t stand to hear that fan while trying to get ready. For the price of this room, I expected a lot better.

- Heather (2/5): DO NOT STAY BEST WESTERN - The room was awful, beds were terrible, one lamp by the bed attached to the wall was only attached by cord, hanging from wall. Fridge, didn't work at all, smelled awful and was dirty! The closet door would not open on one side, so you had to squeeze a shoulder in to hang stuff from one side. Complained the hour after checking in about the fridge AND LITERALLY GOT A SHRUG, from manager and he offered for us to use the breakfast fridge in the lobby!!! Checked out the next am a whole day earlier and complained again and got NO REPLY AT ALL!
- Leigh Ann (2/5): - We've stayed here for 7 years while our kids attended college nearby. It always seemed a nice and reasonably priced alternative with a consistently kind staff. However, last December that changed.It had many construction workers, that for reasons beyond me, would back their trucks in, start the engines, and leave the engine running 3-4 hours - all while spraying the rooms with exhaust fumes. We said something then they went in their rooms and then we could hear them many doors down well into the night. We thought that a freak occurrence until our recent trip in August - and it was a carbon copy. On top of that, the previously very kind staff seems to have left. Upon checking in we were greeted with the coffee machine was broken. No big deal. My wife asked if it would be possible to get hot water at breakfast for her tea - and they said "sure, no problem." However, the next morning, taking them up on the kind offer from check-in, she was greeted with "no -- I'd have to make that" - in a rude, put-out tone that she even asked for such a thing. So we progress to the breakfast and it was completely cleaned out; nothing left. We head outside and the construction workers are congregated early in the morning, smoking weed (likely why they were so hungry). I wrote hotel before posting this note and gave them a few weeks to respond, but with them seemingly not caring, I thought I would post this to save others from the trouble. Go elsewhere!
- WALLER WINSTON (8/5): - This was a good hotel with a comfortable bed and friendly staff.
- Sherry (8/5): - Nice deep bathtub and comfortable bed, but TV didn’t work and no coffee at the breakfast buffet.
- Hilary (8/5): - Room was clean, staff were very kind and helpful. Property was quiet and well maintained. My only two minor gripes are that the coffee machine was broken both days, and there was what appeared to be mold on the bathroom ceiling. Those were small things, overall I enjoyed my stay.
- Carolyn (8/5): - The room was clean and spacious. The staff were friendly that we saw. My husband enjoyed the jetted bathtub. The breakfast was ok. The eggs were very salty. We were nearing the end of breakfast time and they did not refill things. People that came after us did not get some things. We did not use the pool but it looked like a nice pool. We would stay there again

Very Disappointed in the communication of an Amenity that was not available. .....Otherwise, Very clean, comfortable and SAFE. Would stay here and recommend to others . Just have what you advertise please.

- Mike (6/5): - Clean room and serviced every day. Breakfast was okay, same food every day. Today coffee machine broke so no coffee. Valve in toilet not working, so it took ten minutes to refill after flushing. Not many options in Winchester so you take what's available. At least price was reasonable.
- Carla (4/5): - The pool was out of order. It actually had no water in it at all. Our room was a suite with one AC that worked but didin’t cool the whole space and a mini split that wasn’t connected, so a suite for 5 people it was hot. The stuff was nice, but that’s about the only pleasant thing. The breakfast was cold and didn’t offer a whole lot of options. If the amount of time we were there, it served its purpose but I wouldn’t stay again.

Our last-minute need for a room was efficiently met by the midnight staff, who were remarkably helpful, welcoming, and friendly. In contrast to our disappointing experience with customer service at LaQuinta in Manchester, we were pleased to find a room here at the last minute. Without any knowledge of our terrible experience at LaQuinta, the lady who worked the midnight shift on Friday, April 25th, ensured that our night was wonderful. N/A

- Amy (8/5): Would stay here again - Great location. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water, which is not always the case. The room was not very bright at night due to only one small overhead light that was very dim. In most hotel rooms, there is an additional blanket/comforter but this room did not have one and I personally enjoy having an extra blanket.

- Sarah (6/5): What happened??? - The front desk clerks were very friendly. The room was very clean. The bed is not comfortable. The pillows are fine. The reason for less than a glowing review, as we have stayed here each time we come to town is the continental breakfast. We ate at about 8:30am, and breakfast closed at 10:00am. Two drink dispensers were out of order; no apple juice or speciality coffee, all minor. The sausage was burned. The gravy was sour tasting. There was very little milk for cereal, etc. The general stock of food was low. The waffle mix was restored. There were no forks, and when requested, the attendant with no gloves on their hands, handled the forks in every manner to align and put into container. This included dropping one fork on the floor with no effort to pick up. While the food service counters were tidy, the "roach motel" from Cook's pest control in plain view was a massive disappointment.
