The people at the front desk were so nice and helpful! - We had a college graduation to go to and the hotel was close to that and lots of dining choices. The breakfast was very good and the grandkids had a great time swimming in the pool! We had some “debris” coming out of the water faucets. The gals at the desk were very apologetic and said they had just replaced some water lines. We were supposed to be comped a certain amount and sent a receipt via email which we haven’t received yet.

Our room was on the 1st floor and stated "No Pets". It smelled so strongly of cleaner that we had to keep the window open (not sure what happened in there before we checked in). $240 for a room that reeked of chemical spray and having to listen to a barking dog was so NOT worth it!

Peter (2/5): NIOSY - It was conveninet The room was very noisy, We heard every sound from surrounding rooms particularly the room above us where the occupant walked across the floor in what seemed like heavy boots at 3-4 in the morning. It sounded like a herd of elephants. Our room had no carpeting on the floor and judging from how easily every sound s/he made above us came through neither did the room above us. The only break from the incessant noise from above came when the squealing A/C kicked in. Not having carpeting makes cleaning rooms easier but provides no sound proofing for guests.

The breakfast was good. The pool area looked clean but we didn't get to use it this trip. The price was very high for 1 night $208! The bathroom needs to be updated. The toilet felt like it wasn't attached to the floor. The shower head needs to be replaced. Beds were a little hard for my liking.

Free breakfast was pretty routine but adequate. TV's had a multiple remote control and confusing instructions. You had too work at it to watch much TV. TV system, vending machines. Free shampoo etc bottles were hard to use.

540estrellab (10/5): A pleasant night stay - Heater was quiet. There was an air flow control over the heater so the heater was warming the room not the curtains. Curtains were of black out materials. Great for our early morning sunrise in the spring and summer. All extras items, pillow, blanket, were in light weight bag covers indicating that they were cleaned. King size bed was comfortable. Towels were thick. Front desk staff very friendly. Breakfast was satisfying. Coffee was tasty and hot.

Michael (8/5): Convenient place to stay. - Location is convenient to George Fox Univ. The b-fasts are a good value and the woman who works it is great. The pool and hot tub are also nice. Our room had a musty smell. Time to clean those carpets. Beds were okay, not great. One of the front desk people wasn’t very warm when she had to help with something. Made me feel like I was bothering her. Isn’t this her job?
