- Vacation00002 (10/5): We would definitely stay here again - We stayed here only one night on our southern Oregon coastal drive. The hotel was quiet, comfortable, and clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was outstanding for a chain hotel like this. This hotel is away from the highway in a quiet beach neighborhood. There's an excellent seafood restaurant a short drive away. We would definitely stay here again.

Plenty of parking, and a path to the beach across the road, so it was an easy walk. It was a nice location, not too far away from old town, in a quiet spot, with balconies and a pool and hot tub. It was just what we were looking for. Not too much. The railing on the balcony was too high? So if you sat there, your eye level was right at a block of wood. But that is being picky. Also, it is a pretty busy place that can get filled up with kids and other noisy people.

- alexandkarenr (10/5): I hope that you will have the opportunity to experience this peaceful motel - We stayed in one of the beautiful suits. It included a king size bed that was the most comfortable bed I have slept in, in a motel. 2 bathrooms (YES 2!) that had bath/showers in both, a living room area with a tv and fireplace. A sliding glass door opened up to a good size balcony. It was nice to sit out there and watch the ocean (So peaceful) There was a mini kitchen that had 2 burners, a microwave, refrigerator, toaster, sink, dishwasher and a Keurig coffee maker. In the cupboards are dishes, pots and pans. Also available was a blow dryer, standing fan, ironing board and iron. We brought our dog in with us so they included a couple of dog towels and a goodie bag with treats and potty bags. In the morning there is a breakfast room that is open from 7-10am. There was a buffet set up that included biscuits, sausage gravy, eggs, sausage, cinnamon pancakes with apple pie filling, potatoes, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, muffins, juice, coffee and more! I can go on and on! Our visit exceeded our expectations in every way! The staff that we interacted with were friendly and helpful the entire visit! The entire property was immaculate and well organized. Quiet at night, except for the sounds of the ocean. I not only recommend this motel, I really hope that you will have the opportunity to experience this for yourself

Very spacious with fire place and balcony with a view!! 5 minute walk to the beach and super dog friendly. Staff is amazing!! Breakfast was good and their staff was super friendly. My experiences keep getting better and better. A definite MUST STAY!! I loved EVERYTHING!! Hot tub was up and running this time which was a big plus!!

Overall it was a good experience. Better option or place the line for the waffle maker somewhere else within the buffet line.

The room was very clean, perfect really! The pet area was clean and manicured, large area for pets to roam. The breakfast staff were very sweet and accommodating. Everything was great! I have no complaints! If I had to mention something, the ice machine room closes at 9pm, I'd change it to at least 10pm, but we survived, we didn't need it bad enough that I'd want to complain.

The room was lovely - on the older side, but super clean and comfortable! Any staff we ran into were very friendly - especially at the front desk!! Loved the salt water taffy:) The breakfast was exceptional! Definitley not your ordinary packaged, cold breakfast usually had at chain hotels. Such a great way to start our drive that day!

The anticipators on the thermostats was set very "tight", causing the "wall-banger" heaters to cycle on/off much more often than necessary.

The rooms were exactly what we expected and needed. The breakfast was great! But most importantly..... the staff was WONDERFUL! We were there for 4 days, and every single staff member we met had a smile on their face. They LOVED my dog (Grizzly) and were so welcoming and friendly! We will absolutely be back again. My favorite staff member by far was Liz. Her and her team back near the 800 rooms were the best!!! The beds were a bit firm for my liking, but that's just personal preference ❤️

A surprise was the breakfast at the hotel which was good! Nothing really. They should look into getting rid of the carpeting and updating the fixtures but it was good for our stay there.

This hotel is in a great location, especially if you want to watch the sunset over the beautiful ocean. As for the hotel, the bed was uncomfortable and the shower was "awkward" to use. They do not serve breakfast.

- Grant H (6/5): - This was just a hotel room. The staff were great and the breakfast was good. It’s not on the beach although it’s a short walk to get there. We discovered a property across the street with full ocean views, patio, full kitchen for less money.
- Z4202ZFmichaelg (10/5): Nice hotel near the beach - I booked this hotel for a friend and I for the last 2 nights of our Oregon coast vacation. I did this, as it was close to the beach and the room booked had a balcony with an ocean/beach view. That being said I very much enjoyed the view and the across road access to the beach. I liked the hot tub and used it both nights there. The fitness center also looked nice, but I did not get a chance to use it. In addition I enjoyed the tasty free breakfast both mornings there. It had lots of choices and was one of the nicest free breakfast bars offered at any hotel o have recently stayed at. I just wished the hotel was a little closer to town, but even that was not a big deal, as it was only a short drive in our rental car. In all I very much liked this hotel it would my first choice if I make it back to the area in the future,
- Nancy (9/5): Wonderful - Keegan, who checked us in was excellent in his courtesy, willingness to make a room change for us due to the amount of steps to our original room, helped with computer/printer needs. He was kind, helpful, and respectful in every interaction we had with him. He represents the property well. The breakfast was amazing!! So many choices and the women who were in charge of the breakfast and service were friendly, efficient, and engaging. They offered to go boxes as well. The property was exceptionally maintained and very clean. The partial ocean view was more than we expected. The only complaint was the room had an odor. Not sure if it was from cleaning products, cooking odors from previous guests, or something else. We were able to open doors and windows and the odor lessessed. The hot tub and pool area was wonderful. Perfect temps and very clean and not crowded. A freezer section in the mini fridge would have been nice. The pods for the coffee maker only had tea pods but we were able to get coffee pods from the front desk the next day.

- gth1961 (10/5): Stunning property in a beautiful location! - Beautiful property in an oceanfront location, our king suite was very convenient for us and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and offered new items daily. Grounds at this location are stunning and parking is very convenient to the room. Our only complaint is they need to replace the sofa in this suite, it’s uncomfortable.

- Alan (10/5): - Outstanding location for walking to the beach, especially if you have a pet! The grounds are also perfect for quick pet ‘relief sessions’. The staff is outstanding, supremely knowledgeable and friendly. Easy drive to downtown Brandon along the beach route. Tons of options here, lots of fun!

- colormeelmo (4/5): Not a good place for one night on the road. - We paid $316 to stay here one night and wouldn't do it again. I can say that the pool and hot but were nice, but the bathroom was off the lobby, not in the pool area. To use the pool or get ice you have to walk or drive over from your room, which is in separate little buildings with 3 or 4 rooms in each building. Thankfully we had a ground floor room because hauling our bags to the second floor up the little stairways would have been a real challenge. It was quite warm when we got there, and we couldn't figure out how to turn on the AC, so we called the front desk and were told they didn't have AC and that no hotels in southern Oregan have AC. Funny, all the ones we stayed at in norther Oregan had AC. There is a beach nearby, but you can't see the water from where we were staying unless you walk about a block down a path to where it is. The bathroom in our room was nothing special either. I can say that the staff was very friendly and when we walked over to the building where they served breakfast that it was very nice. Early in the morning there was an amazing amount of noise with people mowing the lawn and labors working around the place just outside our door. We only stayed here a night, maybe this is a place where you spend a week going to the beach of maybe they have a golf course of something but it not a stop for the night kind of place.
