• EDGAR (10/5): - The color scheme of this Best Western Plus Executive Hotel & Suites was really nice, it felt rich and elegant. I've since considered staying at a Best Western Plus Executive Hotel & Suites in the Houston area because I enjoyed this one in Sulphur, LA so much, but I didn't care for the look of the Houston rooms as much. Just a personal preference. This particular hotel was fantastic.

• Maureen (10/5): Our stay was comfortable and delightful. - The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the warm cookies we got on arrival!❤️ Everything was fine.

• Amy (6/5): - Nice Hotel and staff were super friendly. I would give 5 stars except after staying 3 nights they never cleaned our room, refreshed towels or took out the trash. I finally had to ask one of the housekeepers for towels and ask what to do with our trash. After saying something to them they still didn’t clean the room. They want you to tip the housekeepers via a QR code but that can’t happen if they don’t do their job.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Not So Good - This hotel is older and could use some remodeling. I would not choose to stay here again. I was charged double the stay amount and was told there was nothing that could be done at the moment. The double charge was a mistake on a new employee however I had to was 7-10 business days for $300 to be added back into my account smh. The only good thing I can say is the beds were comfortable.

• V4597IPdavido (10/5): Home away from home. - From the time I checked in to the time I left it was a very easy hotel stay. The hotel staff was very accommodating. The rooms were very clean. The bathrooms had soap, shampoo and conditioner for your hair and soap, shampoo and lotion for your hands. It has an iron it has a microwave. It has an iron it , has a microwave. It has a refrigerator freezer combination. The freshest smelling sheets and blankets with very fluffy pillows. The breakfast in the morning is a hot breakfast with eggs, sausage or bacon biscuits and gravy, potatoes, waffles and then a combination of cereal if you wanted it. The supper at night is from a local caterer. Great hotel, great staff.

• Jay (2/5): - Couldn’t help but notice where housekeeping is available every 3 days! Our bed sheets were dirty, as in dirty from not being changed after last guest. The bottom sheet had a “foul” smell and body hair on it. The top edge of the comforter POSITIVELY reeked the smell of body odor. I pulled the sheets and comforter off of the bed, called front desk to please send up clean linens. The worker did bring me a set of sheets and another comforter. When she picked up the dirty bundle of linens there was absolutely no way for her to not have smelled the body odor from that comforter. The stay was not pleasant after this incident. I could have blasted this on social media, instead, I chose to fill out the survey. Hopefully, this issue will be addressed to your housekeeping dept. Definitely not a pleasant stay. Desk staff had a sign up saying they’d be gone for 20 minutes when we needed sheets and a pillow for the sofa bed. There are plenty of restaurants close by. You are literally five minutes away from all the casinos in Lake Charles and thirty five minutes away from Coushatta Casino as well.

From the moment I got out of my car, the areas were appealing to the eye, and once I walked in, the smell of the place was so fresh. I thought to myself, " They must have just cleaned it," but I was so wrong. The places smelled clean all day long, and to me, that was a first. I also enjoyed the cleaners of the room, from inside the toilet to the sink and bathtub. Let me also tell you about the staff, I did a late check-in and wanted to make sure the info was noted somewhere, when we got there I was greeted with a friendly smile and I also got a welcome gift. I also enjoyed the breakfast and even other guests seemed very happy to be there as we were. I recommend this place and I will use it again myself.

• Tyler (4/5): Dirty Dirty Dirty - Stayed 1 night with my family just passing through. Room was pretty disgusting. Saw at least 6 different hairs in the shower. Carpet was stained with black and brown spots. Garbage and toilet paper was shoved behind the night stand. There was a pile of see dust on the bathroom floor. The shower was warm at best with poor water pressure at the maximum hot water setting. I only used customer service or staff at check in and check out so I can’t comment on additional service.
