• Raintree_Thailand (8/5): Perfect for our needs! - Overall, our stay at Ibis was great! Ibis is not a luxury hotel, but the location can't be beat and the value for the modest price is excellent. We arrived early and they greeted us with early check-in and a complementary breakfast that hit the spot. Our room was small, but very clean, with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was the same every day, but was a great array of bacon, eggs, waffles, cold cuts, olives, cheese, coffee, juice, bread and more. Our only issue was in the hotel not running our pre-booked charge at the time we booked the room several weeks before our trip. The room rate was only charged on our card at the time of check-in, which because of fluctuating exchange rate meant we ended up paying more for the room than if it had been charged at the time of our booking. Confusing practice.

Doors to the bathroom uncleaned at least for one month. I felt like Ineed to buy new sheets so I would have something to sleep in. Is it a habit in Skoplje ?
• tonylA8077VH (10/5): Great Hotel with Great Staff - While we were in Skopje my wife had a fall on the Stone Bridge and broke her kneecap, We made our way back to the Hotel just around the corner and the staff were amazing, they really looked after her/us, nothing was too much trouble. They are credit to Ibis. Thank You to them all. Another person who deserves a big thank you is the taxi driver who brought us back to the hotel from the hospital I paid him 5000 Dinar instead of 500, he drove away without realising how much i had given him as he was getting another fare on his phone, half an hour later he returned to the hotel to give me my change, a very honest man. People like this restore your faith in humanity

It was approximately a five-minute walk to Macedonia Square, the Stone Bridge, and the home of Mother Teresa. One minor drawback was the lack of large supermarkets near the hotel; I had to go to Diamond Mall for that. Additionally, the hotel provided slippers.

• Jon (8/5): Fantastic location - The hotel is in a fantastic location for the city centre with everything walkable from there. The staff were friendly, hotel was in good condition. Rooms were fairly small and air conditioning didn’t seem to work in any of our rooms. Beds small but comfortable.
• 3armank (10/5): Nice Layover - The hotel is located right in the heart of the city. Quiet neighborhood. The room was cozy and tidy. Its view was amazing. The breakfast room was well-decorated and the breakfast itself was fine with not so wide selection. The staff was helpful.
• Ludmil (10/5): - IBIS is a big name brand in the hotel industry so we knew already what to expect. The rooms are small with small bathrooms but with convenient and comfortable beds and areas. The hotel as a whole is great and the breakfast is wonderful. It gives a lot of option for traditional and local food. Highly recommend if you are going for 1-2 night stay !

• K2087VUvladp (10/5): Chef Sime and his crew: Great Breakfast - The hotel is located nearby many restaurants, close the river Vardar stroll, and across the river to Old Carsija. The breakfast was the highlight of my visit at hotel. There was a careful of local food offerings, “white” cheese, ajvar and lutenica. The apricot and rosehip marmalades were top notch. Chef Sime and his crew were very attentive and helpful explaining the food selection.

• zulrubaie (8/5): Good location - Ibis Skopje located at the Central of Skopje, just walking distance to attraction in Skopje, as usual ibis grup their room is standard size. Breakfast is good variety of menu, friendly staff , lobby is nice decorated. The price is consider ok
• Frendbrend (8/5): No more no less - The hotel’s location is. center of the city. You can walk to tourist areas easily. Staff can speak Turkish and English. Room and breakfast is good price. ( 75 -80€} Room is very clean. Everything is exactly, not more not less. Breakfast is open buffet. There is types of cheese and olive, egg (scrambled, omelette, boiled), coffee and Turkish tea. Cakes and breads. If you have a car, you can park front of the hotel. (Parking fee is 10€)
• LucaSaki (8/5): Ok for a business trip - It was nice staying there for a couple of nights. The Hotel is in a good position to have a walk in Macedonia Square and in the nearby streets. The rooms are functional and the beds are comfortable. I Found the muffins served for breakfast very good but the coffee is simply undrinkable (expecially for an italian) Going to the hotel's bar and ask for an espresso will be the wiser choice. Not all the guys working at the reception are at the same level of kindness and professionality

• Pantherboy (8/5): Comfortable stay in fantastic location - Located just a couple of hundred metres from Macedonia Square in the very heart of the City, this was a pleasant, comfortable stay. Room was a good size and nice and clean. Bathroom was on the small side, but was functional and clean. The shower was a good size with good hot water and water pressure. Good lighting and switch locations. No powerpoints next to bed. Bed was good size and nice comfortable. Very Quiet and a great sleep. Tea and coffee provided. No fridge or room safe. Bar and Cafe with outdoor seating. Breakfast was good, with options. Would definitely stay again.

• Tanya (10/5): Wonder location, caring staff & a great standard - The hotel’s central location is great for anyone visiting Skopje, literally 2 mins walk to the main square with all the restaurants & sights right there. The hotel was also spotless, but more important than this was the wonderful & caring staff. Inarrived late at night & was suffering with heat exhaustion & in the morning not feeling 100% after a good nights sleep the hotel arranged for a first aider to visit me. I wouldn’t have organised this myself, too worried to make a fuss but it was the right thing so I’m incredibly grateful for their care. I ate at the hotel & the food was also of a very good standard. I 100% recommend.

Right next to Marriot and Alexander Square, super convenient, can walk to all sights, and safe. Double the price of Ibis in other countries with same quality. But with limited choices in Skopje, I guess this one is ok to stay for 1-2 days.

• John (8/5): - The hotel was fine - what one expects from an Ibis Hotel. Clean, everything works, attentive staff, with all the basics one needs. The breakfast was very nice, better than expected! On the down side, the hotel sits crowded on a downtown side street. There is construction, which seemingly has stopped, and local men just hanging out on the street. It left a somewhat unsafe feeling, but maybe that's me. Nothing happened. It was my first time to Macedonia.

• Kai Wing (8/5): A Good place to stay in Skopje - This hotel is a bit above a standard Ibis hotel. It is very close to Square Macedonia. I was surprised to find that there were no cups in the room, neither in the sleeping area nor in the toilet. We have two rooms and both have no cups. Other than this small thing, the hotel is a good place to stay in Skopje.

I appreciated that the bar service (with snacks) was 24 hours. Also, since my laptop died as I was en route to N. Macedonia, I especially appreciated that there were computers in the lobby. There was something I needed to review before a meeting, and I was able to do so thanks to the computer. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Excellent selections at breakfast.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Good value for the money - Good value for money. Affordable hotel in the heart of the city. Breakfast is not fancy but is good and sufficient. The service in the restaurant for breakfast is very good. No restaurant for other meals, except a bar, which is ok considering all restaurants in the center are whiting walking distance. The reception staff are helpful and friendly. The elevators are so slow. The room doesn’t have a fridge or safe. The lobby is cool and has a hostel feeling, comfortable but not fancy.

Breakfast (which is free) was delicious and easy to get to below the lobby. Cleaning staff did an excellent job daily. Location was key with only being a 4 min walk to the city square. Highly recommend and will make sure to return if I go back to Macedonia.

It is 500 meters, it costs half euro an hour and it is automated which means that if you forgot something you need to walk 500 meters, pay, wait for the car, take the car, pay again... There is free parking in front of hotel but only for 7-10 cars and half is used by people who work there. Also, they don't know to say "hi".

• Maja (4/5): Think twice before you book this hotel! - I stayed for one night in this hotel. Didn't expect much, but I did expect a clean, non-smoking room as requested. The room smell of cigarettes and did not seem clean at all. Awful beds, very uncomfortable. The only good thing about this hotel was the friendly staff. Compared to other Ibis hotels the breakfast they offered was better. I would not stay again at this hotel and would definitely not recommend it!
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Incredibly central, less than a minute walk to the main square and most attractions. Convenient to restaurants, nightlife and shopping. The single room had a full bed (not typical for European singles) and was simply but modernly furnished with a sense of space and light. The compact bathroom was cleverly designed to maximize space. The urban bar/lounge area was inviting and relatively large, a great place to meet and relax before or after a day of touring. The breakfast bar offered more than I was expecting for the price and the staff was extremely accommodating. At most hotels,I find myself running after carts pulling food from trays as they have started packing and cleaning 15-20 minutes before closing. Not here, they kindly extended breakfast hours and didn't rush those of us who wished to linger a little longer. Would definitely return here. My friends who booked elsewhere were envious of the central location!
