- Renee (6/5): - The property had an incredible view and was very clean although dated. Unfortunately, we had no hot water and the whirpool tub jets did not work. The bed seemed unstable and off balance. The property allowed us to shower in another room that had no air and they gave us a gift certificate for $50 for the restaurant next door which was nice. Over all, it was an amazing view but wasnt amazing enough to mitigate an outrageously loud AC unit, a jacuzzi tub that didnt work and the fact that we lost hot water. They did sent folks out to fix it same day but the fact that we had workmen and a ladder in our room put a damper on our anniversary trip.

- Deborah (8/5): - I've stayed here many times and love that it's small and quiet; adults only. This year I had a ground floor room and experienced an ant problem. They were on the floor, on the tables, around the tub, in the sink, even found them on the bed. There didn't seem to be a safe place for luggage or snacks. I love Fager's but didn't like the additional "guests". No more ground floor for me on future stays.
- Georgia (8/5): - Beautiful suite with awesome views! The suite could use some hooks in the shower for sponges etc, a handle bar would be nice too. The contential breakfast in the refrigerator was okay but we only got it for one morning and we stayed two nights. Hotel is walkable to coastal highway but their are golf carts available and I think one of the staff members will talk guests to Fagers and perhaps the corner of coastal highway. Staff was pleasant with the exception of check out day. Most times we are asked did we enjoy our stay. Not from this one. Never bothered to ask anything. Just took our keys and said goodbye. Although we enjoyed our stay not sure if we will return. Good customer service goes a long way.

I will add that the only thing that is missing from the room is a microwave, we weren’t able to heat up our food to eat from earlier that day. Also I know it’s a couples room, but I think the shower should have a door or curtain just to keep in the heat from the shower. But other than that, our stay was AMAZING.

The only thing we were disappointed was that I purchased a $350 gift card for my BF to avoid him to spend any money as this was a getaway birthday gift , they promote all the restaurants as they accept Gitfs cards it but then we went to use it a Bad Monkey as per shown on page and unfortunately the bill couldn’t be covered with that . It was just very frustrated , I called the front desk at the light house and Keith was be try helpful but definitely a bad marketing on the gift card part .

- Mitchell (8/5): - The Edge has breathtaking bay views and huge uniquely designed rooms. The bed was very comfortable and the jacuzzi was so relaxing. The views from the room are exceptional. It is a great place to stay for couples looking for a romantic getaway. The room was wonderful except for the bathroom which really needs to be remodeled to maximize the space. No door or shower curtain for the shower is very strange. The bathroom sink is also so shallow that youre getting backsplash from the water constantly and the vanity needs to be extended so you actually have space around the sink to place items you need. There currently is barely any sink space. If wasnt for the bathroom, i would give the room 5 stars.

- JOY (6/5): - I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of the room and the beautiful ocean view. The environment was serene, peaceful, and aesthetically pleasing. Additionally, the housekeeping staff was exceptionally helpful and courteous, which enhanced the overall experience. However, I was disappointed with the fireplace. It was not a functional fireplace, as it produced no heat and the flame effect was minimal—more decorative than practical. Furthermore, the “continental breakfast” offered was underwhelming. It consisted of two pieces of cake, two granola bars, and a couple of beverages stored in the room’s refrigerator as well as some coffee and tea. While these items were replenished daily, they were not restocked on the final day, and overall, the offering fell short of what is typically expected from a continental breakfast. There were also issues with cleanliness and maintenance. The chairs in the bedroom had noticeable stains, and it would greatly improve the experience if the upholstered furniture were regularly cleaned and maintained. Lastly, we encountered a persistent issue with ants in Room 1. We were informed that this was due to the season and the room’s location on the ground floor, and unfortunately, there was little that could be done to address the problem. This significantly impacted our comfort during the stay.
- Tanya (8/5): - The views are unmatched! We absolutely loved the room we stayed in and it was clean and had nice touches. Good fridge stocked with plenty beverages, breadfruit, and Keruig machine. What was a shame was that they didn’t offer a microwave in the room or on the adjacent property. We were told we couldn’t use their microwave, despite spending $$ at their restaurant! That’s a deal breaker for me because you should be able to heat up leftovers. The hotel clerk also walked in on me and my husband while we were in the shower! He knocked and we said just a minute, but whether he heard us or not is irrelevant. He should have called the room phone first. The next day we had complimentary champagne left on the table for my husband’s birthday, which we should have gotten the day before. Also we were locked out of our room the next day because they set our key card for only 24 hours and we had a three night stay. They corrected it right away but it was an inconvenience because my husband really had to use the restroom. Other than these bloopers, the property is well maintained and the room we had was perfect! The sunset was gorgeous on the bay and again the view is spectacular! It’s a hidden gem that could be perfect with some improvements in customer service and management. It was an imperfect experience, but we made it work and again the room was so dreamy I think we forgave them.

- Jeff (8/5): - My wife and I have stayed at the Edge for many years in almost every room available, it is secluded and out the normal OC chaos.. Dinner at Fagers a couple hundred feet away never disappoints, arguably the best in OC (I lived there in my college years to go to Salisbury).. It is quaint, subtle and has some flaws, it is not 5 star 2k a night kind of accommodations but that is what we like about it.. If you want to unwind, relax, and walk (or order in) some of the best food in OC this the place.. Hope that helps :)

The units all have different visual appeal, the in-room amenities are sumptuous, and the proximity to Fager's Island Restaurant and the beach make this a true getaway from everything, including the car. - Ebisindor (6/5): - The facility had great parking close to the rooms, great jacuzzi, nice towels and tons of free drinks in the fridge. However, certain pertinent things were rather disappointing for a customer like me. For one they did not have blackout curtains/drapes in the room as claimed on their page, you have to be awoken with the light in your face which is most undesirable for someone like me. Also they only offer continental breakfast which is not expressly stated on their Expedia profile. Worst part is the serving can barely feed one person, and here I was expecting a breakfast buffet or more at least. Another annoying thing was that the intercom didn't work, and all the numbers I dialed, from reception, to house keeping failed to connect. There's no microwave in the room either and no shower hooks or rails in the bathroom but funny enough you've got them in the toilet. The faucet area which should potentially double as a vanity is also much too small. So while I had looked forward to enjoying my time at Ocean city, the conditions/features of the room was the worst part of my visit this time.

It only trickled at best it took one hour to fill up to 6 inches Big shower but no shower hooks anywhere for a towel or robe, Bathroom vanity was exceptionally small not really suitable for a woman and her stuff Sorry expected more!

The view soooo nice... it looks so nice initially. Til you really look around its disappointing the cost one pays per night. The amenities are nice, different genres of rooms cool too...but the paint is peeling, the room isn't as clean as it could be and the couch was disgustingly dirty. I didn't even want to sit on it w/o a towel under me. To spend over $700 for two nights and to need a towel under you on the couch...not good! The tub jets didnt work properly. The water barely came out...the pulse of the jets was barely there...its just a shame people are paying high prices and not getting the whole experience. I should not have to worry about walking around in my bare feet, sitting on a couch, waiting 15 to 20 minutes for the jacuzzi tub to fill up...even the blinds were not functioning and our first night we had to put the bed comforter up to feel like we had privacy. Even tho on the bay side no one really 'walking' past, you still want privacy...still want to sleep in the morning w/o the sun blasting in...It was nice initially, but once you start to 'look' around and see what is 'really there' its not worth $700. Best part was the fresh baked choc chip cookies each day. A partial refund would be great and improvements to match the cost to stay.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - The view at the property was beautiful. The property and surrounding properties are really dated. we are talking at least 20 years dated. There were spills and stains on the carpet at the entry, leaving us unwilling to go barefoot. there are live plants, that have leaked brown water all over the light colored carpet. The mattress was so old we had to use our towels to build up the head part of the mattress above our feet. There is major, signs of water damage to the wood work near the jacuzzi, paint peeling and chipping. Bathroom door has cracks in it. The pictures on line do not match the room in person. Very disappointed we paid $491.00 a night for this stay totaling $982.00. We informed the front desk, they did not offer a discount. We do not suggest anyone use this property until they have done major up grades and repairs. Pool needed power washing to include the pool chairs. Really, for the cost of the rooms you can afford to replace the chairs every year. A please put the high cost of your rooms back into the up keep of your establishment. I have pictures if you need them. This was our Anniversary, what a waste of our money.

My wife’s only complaint was the water in the shower wasn’t hot enough and it was cold in the shower due to the open concept shower. Other than that we were super pleased with our stay!

- Timothy (8/5): - My wife and I stayed in one of the Penthouse Suites for our anniversary for the weekend. The view, hot tub, and location we're all amazing. The only downside is that we had to take 30 seconds freezing cold showers. When we tried to shower on Saturday, there was only two temperatures, 0° and 100°. When I called to inform the front desk I was told they don't employ maintenance on the weekends and that they would try to call someone. Maintenance never arrived and the front desk never even gave us a courtesy call, which was extremely disappointing. We waited until we got home Sunday to shower again.
