• Andrei (6/5): Not for a long stay - Good location and the property is not in bad condition. However, the refrigerator is extremely noisy — we couldn’t sleep because of it. The AC doesn’t work unless the key card is inserted, so every time you come back, you have to wait 20–40 minutes for the room to cool down to a comfortable temperature. There was no real window view (technically there was a window, but it faced a wall). The room also had an unpleasant smell — the air never felt fresh, and I’m not sure why. We arrived 3 hours before check-in, and they asked us to pay an extra $10 for early check-in. It’s not a big deal, I just didn’t expect an extra charge for something so minor. They don’t accept Apple Pay — only plastic cards or cash.
• Catharina (8/5): Conducive environment for someone who needs a calm, private area for his/her business. - I love the services and hospitality of the staff, which make this property quite standout. I needed a two-page file to be printed for my US Visa docs and the receptionist helped me out with no extra charge. To the best of my knowledge, it is also the only hotel that is within a walking distance from the US Consulate General. The signage of the hotel's name has no light so it is hard for drivers/pedestrians to recognize the building from the street. The driver of my rental car missed it because of this; despite the Google Maps had told him that we already arrived. It offers no breakfast but has a detached restaurant targeted for the public (not only hotel guests). The following is not the hotel's disadvantage, but its location (Citraland) is not designed for pedestrians at all, which is very disappointing for an international district. I wish I could give it a rate for this.
