• STELLA (8/5): weekend à l’hôtel Jerodel - Séjour agréable. Seul bémol, le petit déjeuner qui pourrait être amélioré avec des jus de fruits fait maison et sachet de café offert dans notre chambre pour la première nuit, mais pas pour la deuxième.

• Patrick (6/5): Hôtel bien situé mais prestation trop chère - L'hôtel est plutôt bien situé, proche de la plage du Petit Sergent, et à la sortie de Bois Plage direction La Couarde. C'est un bon endroit pour sillonner l'île, à mi-chemin de tout. Le fait de pouvoir réserver des vélos sur place, au sein même de l'hôtel, est appréciable. La piscine est chauffée, agréable. Les enfants l'ont bien exploitée même si nous étions fin avril. La table de ping-pong est appréciable. La chambre, même s'il s'agissait d'une suite familiale, était par contre petite. Nous nous sommes sentis à l'étroit dans cette chambre, alors qu'elle coûtait 140 euros par nuit sans le petit-déjeuner. C'est beaucoup trop cher pour les prestation.

• Peter (10/5): Plan to stay a few days and enjoy some island time - What a gem of a hotel situated on a magical laid-back island. This is a great place for a family to pause and enjoy a bit of island time. The hotel staff were welcoming and hospitable. We just wished we had stayed longer than one night. We had no idea how much great family activities were on this island prior to booking.
• Magdalena (10/5): Bra läge, fräscha rum, fin pool & trevlig personal - Hit skulle vi absolut kunna åka igen eller rekommendera andra! Rent, fräscht, bra läge med promenadavstånd till såväl byns centrum som stranden. Trevlig personal, bra frukost & fin pool, helt enkelt perfekt!
• World Traveller (8/5): Upmarket B&B - We would regard this as an upmarket B&B rather than 3-star Hotel. That is a mild criticism as the Jerodel is perfectly comfortable, spotless, and very welcoming, but it has none of the facilities one might expect in a 3-star hotel, although it does have a modest games room with mini-pool table, table footie and table tennis. The 12 or so quiet rooms are well-equipped, ours had an enclosed terrace attached (smokers' area?), with seating, TV and mini fridge., handy if you bring your own drinks (none for sale on site!). The swimming pool, a real bonus,, is in a smallish child-proof enclosure, very clean with sunbeds and showers. Car parking is in a secure courtyard adjacent to the rooms. The village and shops are a 10 or so minute walk and there is a path nearby to the beach apparently 5 minutes away. The helpful proprietors speak English. Thanks to Brexit, the Euro room price convert to about £140.00 for a night's B&B, high-ish, but this may be average for accommodation on the island as we did not shop around.
• Daniele (10/5): Hotel confortable et coquet - Hotel bien situé, accueil chaleureux, personnel très gentil, nombreux services, très propre et coquet. Petit-déjeuner cher. Nombreuses randonnées et découvertes, paysages mer et campagne sous un soleil très chaud. Nombreux marchés très fréquentés, déjà beaucoup de monde partout. Vie chère. Éviter St Martin pour les achats. Pour découvrir, une semaine c'est bien.

• Jo (10/5): Lovely hotel, great location and great staff - only stopped overnight but would def recommend and wish we stopped longer. Very clean, lovely family room which kids and dog loved. Lovely bathroom and outside enclosed private patio The staff were extremely helpful and spoke very good English. Kids loved the pool. Only things missing were kettle in room and a bar by pool. Would also recommend walk to daily market which is close by.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Pleasant stay for a week - We stayed in a family room (room 2) consisting of a main room with double bed, TV, mini fridge and a couple of chairs, and a separate small room with bunk beds which were fine for our kids. There's a small private courtyard which we used a lot and it's just a short s step through reception to the pool which was heated to 28°C which was very pleasant. A fairly typical hotel for the island, around 600m from the town square. Breakfast is typical French continental type. We hired bikes directly from the hotel with trailers, they were quite new and in good condition. Overall, a pleasant stay and we would recommend if you're looking for a mid range hotel. We felt it was excellent value for money.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great holiday spot! - Great hotel. Very tidy and clean. Great service, room cleaned daily. Friendly staff. They speak English a little, which helped as neither of us could dpeak French;) Location is EXCELLENT! 5 minutes walk from a breath taking beach (La plage du pettit sergant). Great street market every day in the village centre, great restaurant right there at the market as well (they had excellent oysters!). Also La Rochelle is close and it's full of attractions and shops and restaurants. Nearby town of St Martin de Re is also great! You can hire a bike and cycle all over the island - there are fantastic cycling paths everywhere. Also: local wines are great! Make sure you ask for a glass of red Pineau (strong fortified wine (17% alc) - tastes like haven !). Watchbout fir: Donkeys in pyjamas ! (LOL), just google it (ille de re donkeys). ;)

• Glenn (8/5): - We only stated a day but would have been more than happy to stay longer. Very central location, nice clean room with the bonus of a private outdoor seating area. Very quiet when we stayed but this was out of season. Free off street parking which was useful given the central location close to the great market

• Nicky (10/5): Friendly and very clean hotel with lovely pool. - We've just enjoyed a fantastic week at Hotel Jerodel. The staff are very friendly, helpful and speak good English. The hotel is an easy walk to the beach and also to the very pretty village which had a small funfair that the kids loved. The breakfasts were excellent and the children particularly enjoyed playing table tennis and swimming and diving in the spacious and very clean pool which never seemed too crowded. The rooms were comfortable and cleaned thoroughly everyday.

• jackie (8/5): lovely surprise - Wasn't sure what to expect. Good size room with terrace. Good choice food at breakfast. Staff were helpful. Not sure we would come here in high season. The whole island is beautiful and in may was not crowded.

Il est également à 500m de la place du marché ; situation idéale! pour ce qui est des chambres ce sont des petites maisons individuelles toutes en rdc les unes collées aux autres. C’est hyper calme très cosy et propres. chaque petite maison à sa terrasse sans aucun vis à vis avec transat, chaises et table de jardin. petit bémol la salle d'eau est petite (WC et douche pas séparés). Le petit dej est peu onéreux (9€) et très copieux ; boissons chaudes et froides au choix, buffet de sucré et de salé à volonté. Le personnel est très agréable et disponible
