- Mary (10/5): - Beautiful boutique hotel walking distance to everything. Hop on and off city tour five minutes away. Any type of dining nearby! Parking was in a public garage. Unfortunately there is a new system using a QR code to exit but it never worked. Always had to call the attendant to raise the gate. Only five minute walk from hotel.

It is an exceptional small boutique hotel with excellent helpful staff, a very comfortable modern well-appointed room (ours had a balcony to sit on), brilliant location on a quiet street that is walkable to the historic center, a convenient nearby carpark, and a great breakfast. The Hotel de Tourny made our stay in Bordeaux very pleasant and comfortable.

The hotel Is very conveniently located to interesting sights, restaurants and transportation. I was treated very kindly by the staff! - Aoife (10/5): Gorgeous boutique hotel - What an amazing little hotel in Bordeaux! Three of us stayed in 3 single rooms and despite being compact, they had everything you’d need. Such a clever use of space to have the sink set in to the cupboard! And totally spoilt with Rituals soap products. Immaculately clean, super comfy bed & pillows, nice large window looking down onto the street. Breakfast was top quality, lovely coffee and big pots of jam for toast & croissants. The girl at reception helped us with restaurant suggestions, and everyone was super helpful in english, which we don’t really deserve but greatly appreciate! Fabulous hotel in an excellent location. I’d definitely stay here if I was back in Bordeaux.

Less than a 5 minute walk to multiple tram stops it is easy to go most anywhere in the city quickly. Hotel is comfortable and the staff is excellent. Would stay there again if ever in Bordeaux.

- Verified traveler (10/5): A gem of a hotel - In Bordeaux for the Rugby World Cup, and stayed in a single room. I was worried it would be too small, but it was surprisingly comfortable (6'1" here). Shower was excellent, bed comfortable, air conditioning was a real plus, and the room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was included with the room and was quite filling and delicious. There were all kinds of nice Brasserie's and other restaurants to get food nearby. If you are travelling solo, or with a partner, I can for sure recommend this hotel to you.

- Stanley (8/5): - This is a nicely renovated boutique hotel in a heritage building. The rooms are small but adequate in size; the bathroom is quite large. An inconvenience was a lack of enough electrical outlets and inconvenient positioning of some of the available outlets. As a result, I had to remove lamps from power (making it somewhat dark) in order to charge my computer or iPhone. The desk is small for business travel- I could barely fit my computer on it, and couldn't eat and have the computer on the desk at the same time (no tables). There was a reasonable-sized mini-fridge, which was convenient. On the other hand, the only coffee available in the rooms was instant, vs Nespresso in some other Bordeaux hotels, which is much nicer. Wifi was efficient and reconnected automatically, which was convenient. Staff was generally responsive, although somewhat patchy with apparently some short shifts. Overall, a pleasant stay with some limitations.
- Barbara (10/5): - Excellent boutique hotel with fantastic interior design, comfortable rooms , finely decorated and ingeniously furnished. The WC separated from the shower, the basin near the entrance which is useful as washing hands is the first thing I do when I come back from a trip. It was scorching hot outside but I could relax inside thanks to the air conditioning and the blackout curtains. I had to organize a self guided city tour on the last day and the concierge gave me a book as a present. So kind and available If I could give more than 5 stars!

- Verified traveler (6/5): Great Location, Room tired and dingy - The location of the hotel was fabulous, perfect distance from everything in central Bordeaux! The staff were wonderful and very attentive, booked dinner for us and gave lots of recommendations when requested. Always smiley and willing to help! The shared space downstairs was very nice, lovely decor, however we were very disappointed with room itself. It was very small and dark, no view at all, and seemed very tired. The room wasn’t very clean, and the carpet definitely seemed like it had seen better days! All in all, the location was next to none, but the room was nothing to write home about. It was a good thing we were too busy to spend much time in there! I’m sure the more premium rooms were much nicer, but given the price and the quality of the design downstairs, we were pretty disappointed. Redeeming quality was the comfort of the bed though!

- Larry (10/5): - Very nice hotel and very nice staff. My room was a bit small but was more than adequate for one person. The room was well laid out and made good use of the space. There is a nice small deck with a table and two small chairs that overlook the street from my room. I like keeping the doors open to get the airflow into the room as there is no air-conditioning. Be aware though that if you keep the doors open on a street facing room it does get a bit noisy at times. Would stay again.

Room was well equipped and designed with the traveler's needs in mind. Parking was offsite but convenient. Be aware of the small spaces and tight corners to maneuver. We had the most pleasant stay and highly recommend this hotel.

You can’t even really stop on the street in front of the hotel to drop off your bags. Very small room but decent bed. Continental breakfast extra. Parking 5 minute walk up the street with very (very!) narrow ramps at a discount, but still extra. Very helpful, polite staff. Clean with tasteful, modern decor.

- Robert (10/5): Comfortable stay in Bordeaux - Very Comfortable hotel in the heart of Bordeaux. I was in Bordeaux early for a river cruise and arrived by Train. The hotel had a van pick me up (at a fee) and get me to the hotel. They also arranged a Taxi to get me to the river cruise ship. Breakfast was simple but addequate and there was always a staff person at the front desk to help you.

The location on the edge of the old town is perfect: close to the sites and far from the busy streets. The best part was the warm welcome and the extremely friendly and helpful staff. They arranged side trips and dinner reservations for us with great care and an attention to details. And last but no least, we took full advantage of the delicious breakfast every morning

Barely a place for an open suitcase, besides on the bed. The location is good with short walking distance to the river and the restaurant area. Safe small but large enough for a couple of iPads and small valuables. Their recommended car park is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel and is secure with plenty of spaces. The hotel has a special rate for the car park so don’t be put off by the advertised prices per day. The hotel is in a quiet location with easy access to town and river.

- Denise (10/5): Excellent stay - This hotel was situated in a perfect location to see the sights of Bordeaux, very easy to walk everywhere. The staff provided directions to the local Tourist Information Centre which was approx a 10 minute walk away and they were extremely helpful. There's also a big Carrefour very close by.
- Tim (10/5): - A smart, comfortable hotel in the heart of Bordeaux. The bed was fabulous. Needed ordinary English tea in the room along with the supplied Earl Grey. Otherwise perfect.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very good welcome, staff very pleasant and helpful. Room comfortable but the view of the courtyard was rather limited. A little more variety on the breakfast menu would be an improvement for those staying more than one or two nights. Would stay again.

- Helga (10/5): Great location. - We had a lovely suite with a balcony overlooking the side street the hotel is situated on. It was a great location as only a couple of minutes from the town centre and other places of interest. The hotel was spotless and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The only small downside was the street could be quite noisy at night, although this is only a consideration if you have to have the windows open rather than rely on the air conditioning. Otherwise, couldn’t fault it. Thank you for Hotel de Tourny for a great stay!
