Guest Reviews
- Ken (3/5): The stay was not enjoyable at all because of the smoke smell in the room. - I liked how the parking was right outside the door but because it was raining all night we heard the cars on the road. We reserved a non smoking room with a king bed but we were assigned a smoking room with 2 queen beds. The room stunk of smoke. It was like you could smell it coming through the vent in the bathroom. We were too exhausted to go back to the front desk to complain. Also it started raining harder as we were getting our things in so we just wanted to get some sleep.

- Rodney (7/5): Good overall value. - Location and access to the trails is awesome! Bed was a little bit hard. Not too bad restroom could use some upgrades. But usable and clean.
- Pamela (1/5): Not very good .only stay because we have stayed there in the past . The hotel seem to go down in q - The lotion was ok but there was not alot of choices. Our room a had a smell and there was black mold on the ceiling wall. The floor was messed up
- Overton (10/5): - Love Liked everything
- Smith (2/5): Very Dirty - I only chose it because it was next door to where we stopped to eat. It was one of the dirtiest, unkept properties I have ever stayed in for more than 60 years. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
- Charles (5/5): - The location Mold on bathtub, only one washcloth, see light through side and bottom of door.

- Angela (1/5): Do not recommend would never stay there again - Rooms were disgusting. One of them had really bad odor of cat urine.
- gary (1/5): Place is a dump, don’t stay here - Good location I stayed in room 202. Place is a dump. Noisy heater, dirty bedspread, found large dead bug on pillow, not enough electrical outlets, plumbing leaking in tub and sink, dinky tv, disgusting desk chair that could not be given away at goodwill. Door lock knob would not shut had to use chain. The floor had been replaced by some amateur that does not know how to lay floor. I mistakenly used the soap provided and broke out from it. Breakfast very mediocre.
- Laura (3/5): Nasty place. - Floors were so dirty that it turned my feet black. There was mold growing in the tub. The "free breakfast" was a choice of 2 cereals.
- Matthew (10/5): - Nice clean room. Well appointed with fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Clean. Great room for good price
- Sandra (1/5): Worst stay ever - Terrible and stale The staff husband maybe held hand on gun and im just a single female not threatening anyone while I was trying to talk to them about how they double charged me and than she started yelling at me after I told them I was calling choice
- Christina (10/5): Will definitely be staying again - Easy online reservation and fast check in on site. Nice people. The staff did a great job job. With a guest who was causing problems and Was a little loud. 3 am had off road vehicles come in loudly. But over great experience

- DOROTHY (8/5): - Very clean. Quiet Needs some plumbing,
Might be thinking bout new mattress in near future
- Nancy (1/5): Nightmare - Beware this place is infested with BED BUGS!!! I was trying to save a few bucks by staying because we were just passing through. Huge mistake!! My son and I were covered in bites! Bed bugs
- Amanda (6/5): -
- Henry (5/5): - The staff was very friendly Hotel needs lots of updates.
- Vicki (5/5): -
- Allen (9/5): - The staff went above and beyond they were very friendly and they kept it in tip top shape. Only that we didn't have a smoking room when we first got there but then that was taken care of later on so
- Philip (8/5): Enjoyed our three night stay and would definitely come back again despite the poor breakfast. - Loved the location. Property was neat, clean and attractive. The room was super nice. The bed was very comfortable! We enjoyed the TV, refrigerator, microwave and warm showers. Staff was very kind and helpful. The only thing I didn’t like was the poor breakfast. My milk was sour and the choices were very scant. Some jam would’ve been nice for the bread. Had trouble with key card opening the room door multiple times. Office had to keep scanning the card for us.
- Waylon (1/5): - Nothing Room was nasty had hair all over both beds and seen a cockroach coming out of the smoke detector
Wh had to leave
- Lisa (1/5): -
- Szuminski (9/5): Nice room for a quick one night stay. - Nice simple breakfast included in the room price!! There were no lobby bathrooms.
- Hershberger (9/5): -
- Waldron-Pringle (9/5): -
- Chester (1/5): Bad - Close to the interstate for easy travel Room was not what expected. Stayed there before it was ok but this time the room was nasty, the shower was nasty, the room smelled bad... I could can make a list of things wrong with the room
- Samantha (8/5): -
- Sabrina and Blue (6/5): Ok - Easy to find. Off i75 They charge $15 for my 5 lbs trained compassion ate dog. Advertising pet friendly but says nothing about a fee.
- Nancy (6/5): - Cleanest one in town. Nice friendly receptionist. The light in the bathroom flickered and one beside the bed.
- Woodard (9/5): -
- Savan (7/5): -
- Molina (10/5): -
- Julia (1/5): Would never stay again - Convenient to the express way When we got there, I noticed how dirty the mirrors in the hotel room were molded in the shower. The bottom of the tub was worn and battered. They I found a bug and the bathroom floor, and another cock roach bug crawling across the tv/ dresser. Mirrors were filthy and floor falling apart!
- Emma (10/5): -
- Vicki (7/5): Would stay here in a pinch. - It was in Rocky Top Kind of worn
- David (7/5): -
- Vernon (7/5): - Convenience of interstate
- Andrea (10/5): - My husband and I stayed 4 days! The room was clean and Junie in housekeeping was very nice! She made sure we had what we needed!
- Ashley (10/5): - It was all we needed for a quick overnight. Thank you!
- Donna (4/5): - The room was very dark and the vanity was not enclosed.
- Ian (7/5): -
- Debra L (6/5): - Our two rooms were close together, and being on first floor (no stairs) was great for my 92 year old mom. Excellent TV. Floor was clean, but there was a musty, mildewy smell coming from air unit. Pillows and bed linens didn't smell fresh.
- Darrell (6/5): -
- Karen (3/5): - The location. It's close to family. It's where I stay when I come for visits. But not any more. I will go to oak ridge or Clinton before coming back here The bedspread had burn holes in both spreads on both beds. The door was hard to open. You had to pull the door and put the card in and push all at same time. Sometimes it opens sometimes it takes a good couple of minutes. The coffee pot has to be moved to use it. It had no where to plug in. The hotel used to be a decent place but it seems run down. I have stayed many times over the years but this was by far the worst experience I had at this hotel
- Jones (7/5): - Easy on and off of highway. It was clean needs some updates. Bathroom is small , shower was great.
- Polly (8/5): - It is true; this is an old facility, and the wear & tear shows. BUT I knew that when I chose to stay here. It was affordable, clean, quiet, with a comfortable bed & several different pillow types to select from. (I need a flatter pillow for my neck problems, and too often, fancy hotels only have extra fluffy pillows that don't work for me.)
My shower was great! I had plenty of hot water, & the pressure was strong. Everything was clean, from the bathroom to the small fridge, the bedside table & desk surfaces, & the floors. Were there cigarette holes in the blankets? Yes, but it was a smoking room, so I didn't expect any different. The blankets & sheets were CLEAN, & that's what mattered most. Again, given the price point & the reviews I read, I knew what I was signing up for. But unlike other reviews, I did NOT see any bugs in my room, or have issues with other guests being loud or making me feel unsafe.
The check-in process was great. The man who checked me in & the other man who checked me out were both nice & efficient. Everything was exactly what I expected. I gave an overall 4-star review because while it isn't the best place I've ever stayed, I didn't have any problems. I believe the people running it are keeping it clean & functioning, but keeping the price low by not doing upgrades. As long as you know what you're signing up for - a clean & comfortable place to rest your head for the night - I believe you will be pleased.
- Anita (10/5): Nice Motel - Very nice staff, clean rooms, convenient location.
- Janie (5/5): - Was very allergic to something in the room. Me and my sister both became very congested. Not sure what was in there that caused it.
- Richard (10/5): - Friendly staff
- Ruth (6/5): - The hotel was just passing as okay, the room was dated and the floor was vlynal that was pooring installed.
- April (10/5): Comfy - Pool and price Blankets had holes in them
- Daniel (5/5): - The cold water in the shower, the know was stuck, so no shower for me.
- Duane (8/5): - OK
- Sam (4/5): Dump - Not very clean. And the bed was from 1960 i think . Will never stay here again . Hot water didn't work. This places is a dump.
- Rebecca (8/5): - The motel is dated; however, the room was very clean and the front desk attendant was helpful.
- David (7/5): -
- El (5/5): Clean but musty smell. - Free Wi-Fi. Comfortable bed. Large room. The room seemed clean but it was very musty. The linens could have been cleaner.
- Hager (1/5): We left early within an hour door was broken into and not secured and very dirty and beaten up! - Nothing Sketchy And creepy
- Christine (5/5): Wasn't amazing. - Staff was argumentative and barely spoke English.
- James (8/5): Very good -
- George (5/5): Passable - Cost Marijuana smell in room, no hot water
- Phillips (3/5): Poor -
- Barbara (5/5): Passable - Helpfullanguage Walking up steps to get ice
- Beacher (10/5): - Nice and quiet
- Dathard (4/5): - Bed sheets stained and dirty

- Phil (10/5): - I always stay at this one when I go home to Tenn.
- Dabney (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cynthia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Terry (8/5): Very good - Location and price. The light over the sink did not work. Fairly large spider in bathroom floor and numerous cob webs over the beds.
- Tonya (5/5): Passable - They had pool Did have earlier check as requested the fool was coming up and room had weird smell
- Hamel (3/5): Too much mold - The location was convenient to the highway. The bed was clean and comfortable. The room was musty. The walls had water damage with buckling near the baseboards and mold showing through the paint. More mold was along the baseboard and floor tiles. The shower curtain also had significant mildew on the portion inside the tub. The roach I stepped on on my way out was an added bonus. I decided not to partake of the breakfast offered.
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Christy (8/5): Very good -
- Machelle (8/5): - It was clean and friendly service
- Shay (8/5): It's decent if you're not a Diva - Great room rates, Staff lady was nice. Room was clean but the bathtub bottom was stained and there was a shower access hole in the ceiling that wouldn't completely close. Guests were quiet, we didn't use the pool but it looked nice. Breakfast was meager with 2 cereals, bagels and bread and a couple pieces of fruit. Apple juice and oj. Oj tasted canned. If you need a safe place to stay and your not a diva, this will work. We will stay again. Bathtub floor
Hole in the ceiling
Meager breakfast
One lamp didn't work
- Lavada (2/5): - I never stayed there
- Jennifer (6/5): CLEAN YOUR FLOORS!!! The whole room was nasty we would have left but there weren’t any other rooms available anywhere! - Clean it!!! The floor is nasty! Need to update it an clean it!
- Nelson (8/5): Very good -
- David (4/5): - The WiFi sucked. I mean it really sucked, unusable. How can they state that they have WiFi when the WiFi sucks?
- Penny (8/5): Nice - I stay here every time i go to my brothers.
Didn't like that in a no -smoking room, there was a huge burn hole in the top sheet
- Jerry (8/5): - It was a nice place for a place to lay your head for the night! Especially the price. Clean.
- E (8/5): Very good -
- Dave (10/5): - Went to breakfast at 7:15 there was only 2 pi ces of bread and to bagels that was it no fruit no muffins made the comment guess since you have nothing to eat here we will go down the road. No interest in getting anything. Other than that all was good.
- David (8/5): Very good -
