- Aileen (4/5): - The property is aged and rundown and the breakfast isn't very good for $170 a night. And the hotel wouldn't allow an early checkout because I booked through Expedia. When Expedia called them they said they were too busy to take the call so I paid for an additional overpriced night for no reason.
- dennis (6/5): - Have stayed there 2-4 times a year for the last 3 years. It has gotten worse and we will not be back. The place is getting run down and dirty. They run out of breakfast food all the time. Some of the staff at the front desk are not friendly.
- Jennifer (4/5): Very disappointed - The bathroom needs some serious updating. It was disgusting!! The bed was extremely comfortable though. The breakfast was ok at best. They ran out of eggs and I had to ask for more waffle mix. The gentleman that I believe was the manager seemed annoyed that it happened. I would not return to this property.
- Nick (10/5): Great place, great location, great value - We had a great time here! Decent hot breakfast, though it’s the same daily so it gets a little boring for a longer stay. Clean rooms, friendly staff, we would and likely will stay here again!

Room climate control constant fan feature didn't work and the filter was dirty leaving the room smelling like a chlorinated swimming pool. Had to purchase an air freshening spray to mask the smell. One of the bedside table lamps had a broken on/off switch rendering it not useable.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Elegant Hotel & Outdated Rooms - We had a very friendly and efficient check-in upon arriving at the hotel. We were taken back with the slight odor and wet feeling carpet inside our room. Breakfast was tasty, and was well kept up with a good selection.

- Jay (4/5): - Room smelled musty. It felt damp all the time. Beds were horrible. Was glad to get home and sleep on a comfortable mattress.
- Barb (2/5): - When we walked in to our room, the musty sent is what struck us. No matter how the air conditioner was set, we could not get the damp, musty sent and feel out of the room. I swam on the first day, and 3 days later, my swimsuit was still soaking wet! In the pool area, the pool was great, but the hot tub's jets weren't working and the sauna did not work at all. We were there because our mom was in the hospital, and they did give us a discount which was great, but, our room wasn't cleaned until the 4th night we were there. The breakfast was just kind of meh. Powdered eggs, sausage, make your own waffles if there was batter, white bread, bagels, cereal, mini-muffins, apples and oranges. The coffee was pretty good, and there was a selection of teas.

When we arrived back at the hotel, coffee packets were tossed on the desk not in the basket provided. Garbage bins which were quite full, were not emptied. We told the front desk and they said they hire young people during the summer and that’s how kids do their job. He apologized and said he would comp on day’s fees. We appreciated that.

I was right across from the ice machine and I was worried I would hear it being used all night. The rooms are very well sound proofed. Highly recommend this property.

- Wendy (4/5): - My room wasn’t ready until after 5:30 PM, I wasn’t told there was parking around the back of the hotel which was much closer to My room. Toilet needed 2 flushes for even toilet paper to flush. Biggest issue was the room phone didn’t work - when I tried to to contact the front desk by using the “0” Button as per instructions on phone I Kept getting a busy signal. If I had an emergency there was no way I could have contacted anyone to get help. This could have been a liability issue. I reported this the next morning and that night and nothing was done. I also asked that the manager contact me and when I finally Was able to Meet with him he had never received any messages about my issues inspite of 5 contacts I made from 10:00 PM on 7/13/25 to 7/15/25 at 10;30 AM. Once I met with the manager he was very concerned and accommodating. I asked if for a late check out the day before but that was not communicated to the house keeping staff. Also the WIFI wouldn’t stay connected. Great breakfast with a good variety of selections. Room was great sized

- Lynn (4/5): - Black slimy mold came out of the whirlpool when I turned on the water. I used a towel to wipe it off and showed the photos to the attendant when we checked out. The hotel is dated but has potential to be much better. No napkins at the breakfast area and when I asked I was told they simply just ran out? Strange but ok.. I deleted the photos after I spoke to the attendant but wish I'd kept them to show here. It was pretty gross.

- K3241UUlindaf (4/5): Neglected & Unloved - The hallways smelled like stale cigarettes & dogs. There were ants in the bathroom and were swarming around the air conditioner. One morning we came down for breakfast and the warm food trays were empty. In general, the other food was scarce & there was no real choice of things to eat. The hotel grounds were overgrown with weeds. The flowers planted out front were not really planted in the pots & were dying of lack of water.

- David (8/5): - So I recently stayed here for a convention we were attending. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast they offer was better than expected. Eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, coffee and more. My biggest complaint would have to be the pool area. The hotub and pool definitely could use a cleaning and half of the jets don't work in the hotub. Also be mindful there is no elevator for the second floor. Finally the wifi signal is very weak.

Its in a perfect area… close to everything and just across the street from the beach. Staff was wonderful. There was an elderly couple at breakfast, and they were taking a long time to eat. The staff kept breakfast open for an extra hour just so they could have a peaceful meal. Five stars in my book!!

Pool area was clean other than flying insects floating in the pool, towels were neatly placed all over for guests which was nice. Breakfast was pretty well stocked. Check in was one of the easiest check ins I've ever had, quick and efficient the guy that checked us in was awesome!!!

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean.
- Julie (10/5): - The front lobby was an inviting gathering place. The queen bed and sofa were perfect firmness for me. The ice/snow storm were challenging, but the lot got plowed and salted, and the staff stepped up in helping one another to assist guests and get tasks done efficiently. Jimmy (GM), Barbara, Tiffany and Tiffany (staff I had interactions with) make this hitel unique and i really appreciated that my service dog DJ was treated like a guest, as well. I look forward to my next stay.

- Edward (8/5): - The only issue that I would say that I had was that when I made the reservation, I requested a handicap room and when I checked in was told there was none available. Being and amputee it was hard to maneuver around the restroom in our room without proper handicap accessible tools. Other than that it was a nice place to stay.
- Sarah (10/5): Good hotel at a good price - Very nice hotel for the price, especially on a weekend. Check in was rapid and courteous. Decor was very nice and room was clean and well kept-up. Hot water, A/C - heat and jacuzzi tub all worked well, breakfast wasn't overly fancy but did include hot food. Plenty of coffee which is important to me. Pool was a nice size and was clean. The only thing that needed improvement was the desk chair - its vinyl cover was almost all peeled off and what was left came off on our clothes. This was the only shabby aspect of the hotel.

- josephbT8471SR (4/5): Very Disappointing - Very disappointed with the lack of heat, torn and outdated furniture, and burned out light bulbs. The heating device blew out a combination of heat and cool air. The bathroom had no heat at all and the shower was small and water pressure was lacking.
- Abby (6/5): Whirlpool disappointment - Found the loby to be nice, neat and clean. After check in we drove around back to a door close to our room. There was a lot to be desired for snow removal, sidewalks were done but not well. Parking lot was poorly cleared as well, I understand not being able to clear between vehicles but the rest was poorly done as well. Room was nice and clean, but was cold, heat was not on. We had a King Suite with a whirlpool tub. The bed was not awful but it did have a sag in the middle. Shower was clean and had ok water pressure but the water never really got hot. I feared this would be the case for the tub and sadly I was right. We booked a room with a whirlpool tub as my BF is alergic to the chemicals in pools and hot tubs so we thought this would be a great option. Again the water never got hot. By the time we got enough water in the tub it was a cool temperature that I wouldn't even wash dishes in. We stayed 2 nights only had breakfast one morning. The food was fine but the poor lady taking care of the food had no help and mentioned the overnight crew didnt do anything. For being one person she did the very best she could. Check out was fine other than having to wait as clearly they were short staffed again. I mentioned to the clerk at checkout how displeased we were with the whirlpool tub in our room and got the "well no one wants to stick any money into those kinds of things". And then offered me a lollipop like that would fix it. A discount was not expected but an apology was.

- Alicia (8/5): - They have us a room under repair, the toilet was literally in the spa tub in the main section of the room. I had to go request a different room, which put us farther away from our party.
- Michael (8/5): - I loved the pool, hot tub, easy access to downtown. Breakfast could be better. Had the same exact thing every morning.

- josephsT1509GB (2/5): Adequate Rooms, Internet Practically Nonexistent - The room was adequate, same story for breakfast. The Internet Connection was absolutely horrible (basic web surfing and email), it kept disconnecting, regardless of what device I used. I have stayed here in the past, and it has definitely gone downhill quite rapidly. This will be my last time staying here.
- ckcsfangirl (2/5): Not recommended - This place sucks! No cleaning service unless requested, and even then, they only cleaned once in five days, including not emptying the trash cans full of food. Internet kept disconnecting and wasn’t at all reliable. On both my devices. I wasn’t even attempting to stream; just go to basic websites.

- Angela (10/5): - We stayed here on Chrustmas Eve and I didn't think there would be a breakfast on Christmas Day, but there was and it was wonderful. The staff was wonderful, festive and super friendly. Our room was super comfortable.

- Thomas (4/5): Bad hotel - I did not know that there was an additional 50.00 charge for having a dog until I got there - the lady at the check in area was not friendly at all she said you were notified about the extra charge when you reserved the room online and if you dont want the room it is okay to go to another hotel .. like I’m gonna drive 6 hours and get there late at night and make a change… did acted like she did not care at all .. bad service smelly room with dirty carpet and I will never go back there as I felt not wanted at all …
- Dan (6/5): Boo to hotels.com - Non working lamp and unusable hot tub. Also not happy about Hotels.com pretending that only a few rooms available and raising the booking rate. Also not happy with hotels.com confusing rewards system and less than helpful AI customer support. AmericInn average rating. Hotels.com poor rating
