Guest Reviews
- L.E. (6/5): - Under new management. He’s been working hard to get a rundown motel cleaned up. Still has a long way to go.
My friend said his sheets had dirt and hair. My room was clean, except for the Smokey smell, that manager sprayed a deodorizer that helped.
- Patrick J (2/5): Budget Inn - The hotel is very run down and has no staff on premises. You have to check in at another motel.
- Verified traveler (6/5): You get what you pay for. - Room came with a small fridge, and microwave. Room was very small, Beds are advertised as queen size but were more like full sized beds, the sheets were somewhat stained, room had an unpleasant smell to it. We decided to only take showers and leave.
- Eric (2/5): - Got eaten alive by Bedbugs! Disgusting place . When I asked local pizza delivery and gas station workers the answer was " I coulda told you that" . So wished we would have stayed somewhere else, since we're sure we brought them home....
- Steve (2/5): - WiFi password never worked train & dog all night
- Verified traveler (4/5): Clean, but bad sleep. - Our room was clean. Had 2 full size beds. However, there was no bath soap. Also, the heater had a loud clanking noise every 10 minutes or so. Made sleeping very difficult.
- TankzMa (8/5): Don't let the appearance scare you away. - When I first saw the hotel I was a little scared of what I saw but decided to check in and give it a chance I'm glad I did.
It is a little quirky, the office is only open from 3-10, but the woman at the desk was very friendly and helpful.
The room was clean, though older. There were some chips in the tub but I didn't find anything wrong with that. My only real challenge was, I had problems adjusti g the air because I couldn't really read the buttons and the bed was high. The bed was very comfortable (better than many I've paid more for), and worth the extra effort.
Close to the Boulders Conference Center and right on Hwy 30 aka the Lincoln Highway.
- ted (6/5): A place to stay - Decent place but trains ran a lot and sounded horns right behind it. There covered by trees so you don't notice the tracks.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The room appeared to be clean but there was a smell that was very offensive. There was noone on site to check us in. We had to drive across town to get the key card and check in, which made us late for our appointment. There should have been something on the website to direct us to the other motel for check in. At the very least the person I spoke to when I made the reservation should have known to tell me about the check in procedure.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Just a little better than sleeping in the car. - Beds and bedsheets are ok not a 3 rating. Cover sheet for box spring is very dirty. Has yellow stain on it. Just a little better than sleeping in the car.
- Verified traveler (2/5): The only good thing about this hotel was that it w - This was a very old hotel. It was clean. It was located near the railroad tracks so it was very hard to sleep. We had reserved a room with two queen beds we got two full size beds and were told the hotel had only full size beds. We will not use this hotel again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Make do in a pinch - Well I checked in late , and no one was in office ! Had to call a number and told key was under a flower pot ! If I wasn't so tired I would have went some where else. But the bathroom was clean and the sheets. Was next door to train tracks and all the heat things were broken and apart . VERY SMALL !!!!!
- Kevet (2/5): Low expectations, still disappointed - The room was clean enough and the beds were ok. But it's right next to a railroad track so it's freight train horns all night long. No telephone in the room and AT&T cell service didn't make it indoors either. The marginal air conditioner failed entirely my last night there. I'll look elsewhere next time.
- Marian (4/5): Outside dilapidated - If you judged the motel by its exterior, you would never stay. Their driveway and parking lot used to be concrete but is now reduced to gravel, cracks and potholes and the building is not great either. However I found the room to be quite clean and comfortable. There is a frig and microwave but no coffee maker. When I went to the front desk to borrow a cup to make coffee in the microwave, the manager actually gave me a one-cup coffee maker to use. Very nice of her.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Stayed here because all hotels in neighboring town where I was working were full. Bed was comfortable and room was clean but had an unpleasant smell.
- Arianna (2/5): - Terrible. The room they put me in wasn't even cleaned. Bed not made, garbage still their from the previous person, dirty towels on the floor. Horrible
