Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (8/5): - spaceous and clean room
Not used to a high traffic city
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It had everything I needed and was close to the PA Hospital where my son needed to go. There was also a supermarket across the road which was beneficial for food supplies as well as lots of take away restaurants.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very clean apartment , SUPER friendly and helpful staff !
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Friendly staff, rooms were very well appointed, good size bathroom and kitchenette.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I liked the privacy we were given! And the beds were very comfortable to crawl into at the end of the day!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Stated car parking was available. Incorrect. Only Limited Car Parking available. Had to park on street. Not good enough. Would have stayed elsewhere had I known.
- Jiri (4/5): Try to find a better place - I have chosen the property because of the access to the UQ Lakes campus. It turned out to be rather an illusion (just on the map, the real way being complicated by a couple of busy crossings and by the hilly terrain. The place itself was a rather unfriendly looking place, the room dark and sort of "hostile" (to spend one week, which was my case). I would say that the cost/performance ratio was on the improper side. As there are many similar establishments around (mostly catering to the families of the patients of the Princess Alberta Hospital nearby) or next to bus stations connected to UQ Lakes, I feel there are better choices. The landlady was nevertheless friendly and - as far as possible - helpful, and the place, with the exception of one cockroach exuvium I have found on the floor, acceptable.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Older style facility but comfortable. Would have liked an extra blanket. Some other residents were very noisy. All said it was nice and close the the PA hospital and a great array of shops. Staff were very obliging. Onsite parking free and excellent.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Staff were very helpful close to the hospital and shops
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Good location, easy to access public transport and shops
- gloria (10/5): - Brilliant inexpensive clean excellent bedding and towels supportive staff,Just what you need for a conference attendance for two days.Recommend highly for a business stay. Many thanks!!!!!!!
- Mal (10/5): - Clean basic accommodation. Close to shps and convenient access to main highways. Extremely frienfly helpful staff.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Convenient location with plenty of food and general shopping quite handy. The building is somewhat tired. Serves its purpose nicely.
- suzieq (8/5): - Basic but nice room with kitchenette. Outdoor but secured car park. Very friendly staff. Very convenient location. Few minutes walk to P A Hospital. Shopping centre with Woolworths, take away foods etc just across the street.
- Verified traveler (4/5): nice staff - not sure about the accommodation - Room smelt, info in info folder was very dated, needs a lot of attention. Location great but $110 per nite - not worth it.
- Diane (10/5): - If you need to be at the hospital then come stay here great place great dining areas.
- Wayne (6/5): Close to facilities - The staff were friendly and the room clean. However the units are old and need a refurb. It was not bad, but for the money, there was probably better value around, though limited due to the Ashes cricket.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Handy to major hospital with small shopping centre - Met all my needs for the short time I was there.
I have no further comments to make.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Hotel was fine for my needs. Good location close to shops and hospital.
- sharon (2/5): Location was great the rest was hell - Dirty mouldy small noisy neighbors hear through wall..
- DAVID (8/5): Neat , clean & tidy Hotel. - Basic hotel, quite comfortable. The room was clean & tidy.Very close to the P.A.Hospital.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Our stay was relaxing and comfortable. We were very impressed with the staff as they went out of their way to meet our needs. We would come back and stay again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Room was gross, air conditioner did not work, the price was not reasonable for the room. Do not recommend.
- Diane (10/5): - Great position for hospital shops and dining. Could do with a little updating but overall very comfortable
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Little bit of a trek, but walking distance to the Gabba.
- C (8/5): Close to shops and hospital - Clean and comfortable, getting a little tired and worn but still ok
- Verified traveler (4/5): Convenient to PA hospital - Basic, inexpensive hotel convenient to PA hospital
- Kim (8/5): Very Convenient location - We chose to stay at Tottenham Court because 1. semi-self contained: Room facilities provided such as toaster, microwave and plates and cutlery were sufficient for our DIY meals.2. close to shops and 3. close to the Gabba where we were attending a concert. About 30 mins walk.
- John (10/5): Clean, comfortable and friendly staff - My small family stayed here for two nights wile visiting a relative at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. Our room was comfortable, clean and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and flexible enough to meet our "out of the ordinary" requests. We were very pleased and happy with our stay, and we will certainly be back again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good value - Convenient location, clean, basic amenities but very good value for price.
- L (6/5): Great location, everything we needed - Great value room, just across the road from Buranda Village shops
- David (2/5): Worst Australian Motel - Don't stay here! Worst motel in Australia. Dirty, rundown, broken facilities. Very rude staff who were most unhelpful.
Glad to be out of there!
- regan (8/5): Cheap and basic - Basic rooms with value for money, close to shops and friendly staff.
- Not Provided (10/5): as planned - very helpful as it was a late booking and in morning reception was great
- Verified traveler (2/5): Would not stay here again - Rude staff ruined the whole experience!!
- Gary (6/5): Convenient spot - Had all the basics of budget accommodation and was old but ok
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Air con/heater didn't work, manager didn't really care.
- Shortstayer (6/5): - Was fine and clean with the basics, however insufficient secured car parking spaces compared to room numbers available for hire, one may have to park on the street at your own expense, if alternate parking is needed within business hours.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Noisy hotel near hospital - Clean kitchen, bathroom. Very old. Disgraceful carpets and lounge. Couldn't even sit on lounge.
