Location scooter, bon plan restaurants, bars, plages.... Hébergement climatisation avec son propre jacuzzi. Et une piscine pour l'ensemble des 8 cottages. Nous avons réellement apprécié ce séjour. Des restaurants juste à côté, salon massage, laverie. Nous reviendront avec grand plaisir.

• Ali (10/5): MAGNIFIQUE - Nous avons passé deux jours au Moon Cottage et nous y reviendrons sans la moindre hésitation. En un mot : top ! L’accueil est vraiment super. Alexandre est toujours disponible pour répondre à nos questions et nous donne d’excellents conseils. On sent qu’il fait confiance à ses clients et c’est réciproque ! L’hébergement est impeccable ! Tout est propre, bien pensé et cosy. Un frigo, un micro-ondes, une bouilloire, de la vaisselle… tout est prévu pour qu’on se sente bien chez soi. Et le jacuzzi… Parfait pour les petites soirées tranquilles et se rafraîchir en douceur. La situation géographique est idéale ! C’est dans un coin calme de Koh Samui, loin du bruit, mais avec tout à portée de main. Un 7/11 à 3 minutes à pied, des restaurants en quantité et la plage à moins de 7 minutes. On a aussi loué un scooter chez Alexandre pour 6 €/jour pratique et abordable pour explorer l’île ! Je recommande à 1000 % ! 🙌 RAS

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was peaceful, private, and incredibly welcoming. The villa was spotless and beautifully designed, blending traditional Thai style with modern comforts. The bed was extremely comfortable, the space was generous, and having our own private pool and jacuzzi made it feel like a true luxury escape. Even in just one night, we were able to completely switch off and relax. The tropical garden setting adds to the charm — it feels like a secluded oasis, yet it’s still conveniently close to restaurants, shops, and the beach, giving you the perfect balance of tranquillity and accessibility. A special mention has to go to Alex, who manages the property. He was fantastic from start to finish — friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Even though our stay was short, he made sure everything was perfect and gave us some great recommendations. His hospitality really made a difference and elevated our experience. It’s rare to find somewhere that leaves such a strong impression in just one night, but Moon Cottage did exactly that. Next time, we’ll definitely be staying longer. Highly recommended for couples looking for a romantic and relaxing getaway in Koh Samui. 🌺

Die Lage ist ruhig und trotzdem nah am Strand, an Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt, sauber und liebevoll gestaltet, mit schönem Garten, Pool und privatem Whirlpool. Besonders begeistert haben mich der freundliche, hilfsbereite Service von Gastgeber Alexander und die entspannte Atmosphäre. We just wish we had stayed more than one night and made use of our private spa right outside our room! Alex the owner/caretaker was very friendly and helpful right from the time we made the booking. We were also able to rent a scooter from him at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend staying here. It's a lovely part of Koh Samui with many restaurants and massage places within walking distance. Nothing, it was all great!

• carinda2024 (10/5): Cosy Cottages close to the Beach!! - Fantastic place and good location, a few steps away from a lovely beach. Very friendly owner and staff, we felt at home immediately. Our unit was recently renovated and we enjoyed our private pool and barbecue (braai). Lots of convenience shops, restaurants, massage shops and pharmacies very close by. Ideal place to come and explore Samui, but still relax and not feel overwhelmed by too much hustle and bustle. Thank you Alex, will see you guys again.

• C1782COjasonj (10/5): Great hidden gem - What a hidden gem this is alex the host will make you feel at home a lovely man and nothing is to much trouble for him. Rent a scooter or car from the premises. Airport pick up for a small fee. Beach is a 4 minute walk or scooter will take you straight to the beachfront. Rooms are large with all you need for your stay i found it very peaceful even tho your close to the main road it set back enough so you don't hear and traffic. Nice jacuzzi in cottage and also a nice pool at the end of the cottage road. All staff will make you feel at home. 10/10.

The customer service was outstanding and the fact that the owner is allowed dogs to come means everything it means in his personality. He’s a loving caring, easy guy that loves people and dogs and life itself in generally, why am I saying this because it goes all the way down to my feelings as a customer the place is great and in a great location the price was very very way lower than expected absolutely 10 out of 10. I want to use this moment and tell the owners thank you for making sure we are comfortable and feeling good. We will be back.

It's just a 5-minute walk from the sea, and there are many restaurants, bars, and supermarkets nearby that are open 24/7. If I ever return to this beautiful island, I'll definitely stay at Moon Cottage again. Thank you for everything!
• Shaun (9/5): Great private location had everything we wanted! - Great bungalow with a private Jacuzzi, it has everything you need, large living area with loads of space around the bed, kettle. Microwave, hot plate and fridge. It is located off the main road and is really quiet. There are 2 great restaurants at the end of the road. Alex is so helpful and friendly, providing great information. Wish we could have stayed longer. The other bungalows were having an update but I believe that work will be completed shortly

The owners, Alex and David, are incredibly kind and friendly — always ready to help with anything you need and full of great recommendations for exploring the island. The swimming pool is definitely one of the highlights: clean, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing at any time of day. It’s the ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the tropical atmosphere. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The location is also perfect — close to the center, yet quiet and peaceful, with restaurants, shops, and everything you might need just a short walk away. I highly recommend Moon Cottage to anyone visiting Koh Samui who’s looking for a cozy, well-managed place to stay. I’d go back in a heartbeat!

• Chloe (10/5): Would definitely come back! - We absolutely loved our stay. The staff is lovely, helpful, and the cottages are just brilliant. Having a little plunge pool for ourselves that was cleaned everyday was just awesome, we made the most of it and only used the main pool once! The rooms are big and comfortable, with great size bathrooms and great shower pressure and temperature which is a luxury in Thailand! You are far enough from Chaweng that the area is quiet, but close enough that you can quickly zoom there on a motorbike (less than 10mn). I can’t recommend this place highly enough! Can’t find anything!

We had booked here (without cancellation) so we thought we had lost our money. Thankfully, the staff understood our situation and we were able to cancel! We are very grateful!

Whirlpool was also broken and the outdoor kitchen was not in use and broken at our cabin. Very old pictures from the management.

The private garden is a great touch. Jacuzzi tub was lovely! The shared swimming pool was great too! The surrounding area was very peaceful! The choeng mon area was great. 5 mins walk to 7eleven shops and restaurants and about 8 min walk to the beach. Thomas was very helpful if there was anything we need it was not to much trouble. Would highly recommend moon cottage, great value! It was just the vibe we wanted.
• Francis (10/5): Can’t wait to return! - Lovely cottage in an ideal location close to the main strip and the beach. Free Wi-Fi and excellent efficient air conditioning. Each cottage has its own private little garden with a jacuzzi and for those who like a swimming pool there is a communal pool at the end of the row of cottages. Our hosts Alex and Thomas are both extremely friendly and helpful sorting any queries without delay. We spent a month at Moon Cottage and intend to return next year.

• Simon (10/5): AMAZING - I stayed at Moon Cottage for 1 Month Great location not far from 7/11, Legacy Muscle Fitness gym only a 5 minute walk. And Chong mon beach not far away and was amazing! I rented a scooter Alex the host had this ready for me when I arrived! Alex was a great host was a safe place to stay! And would definitely go back! Rooms cleaned regularly! If had any issues I could contact Alex through WhatsApp. Alex was also poorly for a week whilst I was on my stay and still went out of his way to make sure I had the perfect stay! I will definitely stay at Moon Cottage if i return to Chong Mon! Nothing

The shower has some flaws in the way the tiles are placed so the whole bathroom got wet. There was a leakage in the water spout next to the toilet. The yard is not as nice as in the pictures.

• Rachael (10/5): Exceptional - One of our favourite places we’ve stayed since travelling for 6 months! We treated ourselves here as it was my partners birthday. The cottage is spacious, comfortable bed, good aircon, hot shower, and so nice having your own private wee jacuzzi, which is cold but was nice with the heat of the sun! We also used the pool everyday during the week we stayed and had it all to ourselves every day! The owner, Alex, was so lovely and helpful with lots of recommendations and advice. I arranged with him to decorate the room for my partners birthday and his staff did an incredible job, as-well as he kindly organised getting a cake and candles too! Can rent a bike here aswell, although there are restaurants, bars, and massage shops only a few minutes walk away. Truly a wonderful time and would love to return here one day.
