• Maxine (9/5): meilleur hôtel que j’ai fais même s’il a rien de ouf - Trop bien situé, j’ai pu me baigner la nuit en rentrant dans la piscine, ils louent des scooters, ils sont trop gentils!! et ils ont un service de laundry la chambre est pas exceptionnelle mais elle fait le taff!

Hotel was so quiet and we had the whole pool to ourselves most days. We also got a very good price to extend our stay by 2 nights. Can hire bikes and do laundry at the hotel. A 2 minute walk to 7/11 and it’s centrally located to amazing restaurants and bars. Couldn’t recommend enough! Nothing!

We loved the cheap scooter rental, the nice rooms The lighting in the rooms was cold and hospital-like, not very cozy, but that is literally the only complaint i have. Could be fixed by light-bulbs with a different temperature.

The pool bar was cheap and the rooms were great and you could hire bikes for a good price at the hotel. The nicest part was the staff who helped organise our travel to Phuket and when my sister forgot her charger they met us at the port (before we even realised it was missing) to return it to her before our boat. Really a lovely experience 😊 Nothing

• Keith (8/5): A pleasant stay, lovely staff, but the room was quite basic. - The location was convenient, the staff were all very friendly and helpful and there was a very nice pool area with a bar. There’s also a restaurant area onsite which served some good food. The room was basic, comfortable enough, but in real need of an update and refresh. For that reason, we felt the property was slightly over-priced, but everything else was fine.
• Sarah (10/5): - Loved my stay at the Morokot (second time there) As a solo traveller its such a fabulous place to stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel at home. The pool is so nice and quiet and theres a co working space nearby. Really comfortable beds and rooms are spotless. Its one block back from beautiful Long Beach but so quiet for a good nights sleep. 7 Eleven on your doorstep and plenty of places to eat nearby including food served at the Morokot. I cant wait to return again 🤗 Nothing only that i couldnt stay longer

• Catherine (10/5): I certainly would recommend this family hotel. All staff are friendly and do kind and helpful. - The island trip we booked at reception was well worth the money. We really enjoyed being taken to all different parts of koh lanta in an air conditioned vehicle. The hotel is just 5 minutes away from Long Beach. Great to come back for a swim in the pool after a long day and have a Chang beer from the bar. We came across this hotel as we booked a not so nice one 30 minutes away and needed to move. We were a little apprehensive after being disappointed in the hotel we booked but there was no need to have been as we were looked after from the moment we arrived. From chatting to other guests they certainly have regular guests who return to stay here.

• Kieron (10/5): Amazing family run stay - Amazing stay at a lovely family run hotel. The location is perfect as you walk out of hotel down a little road and across the main road and you are on long beach. The staff were out of this world, any issues you had with your room and they would happily come and fix it. The rooms were modern with a massive fridge, kettle, coffee, and shower gel. The cleaners were also really nice and they would clean your room on request. The restaurant they have at the property is very delicious, and really reasonably priced. In front of the restaurant area is the pool, which is absolutely out of this world. You can also rent bikes from this property, if she has any left (they were sold out when we was there. There was nothing i did not like about this property

• Amanda (10/5): Loved it xx - A lovely little family run hotel nothing was too much trouble the food and drinks were very cheap the pool was great, I also got a free upgrade for 3 nights which was amazing! The normal rooms are of a decent standard you must put the sign on the door if you want your room cleaning.. I carnt thank them enough for a wonderful stay and I will definitely be back. The location is very good, close to the beach and restaurants etc. We rented a motorbike off the hotel and it was in very good condition and it all went smoothly. The staff at the hotel are also very friendly. We availed of the laundry service at the hotel and it was very positive. There is also a large amount of towels available beside the pool to use for the day which is a nice touch. The room itself was very basic and could have been a lot cleaner. We were hit with a very musky smell every time we walked into the room and there was also a sewage smell coming from the bathroom. The shower itself wasn’t great either and there was never any hot water.

Virkelig sød og venlig familie der har stedet. Pæn og brugbar pool og i fin gå afstand til stranden. Kunne godt ha ønsket en lidt større balkon med lille bord, men så kunne man sidde i receptionen i stedet.

Через дорогу (5 минут пешком), вход на Лонг-бич, в 2км вход на Лейзи-бич. В отеле готовят еду, плюс есть прокат байков и все экскурсии. Стоимость такая же, как в городе, поэтому все можно сделать не выходя из отеля. Байки в аренду новые, есть Скупи и Клик - кому что больше нравится. Лаундри тоже есть, по цене как в городе. Хороший, чистый бассейн. За ним следят. В целом, очень хороший вариант для семейного и парного отпуска. Уборка в номерах - было грязно. Волосы на полу, уборка только по запросу (если оставить табличку на двери), чашки мыли ужасно. Весь балкон в грязи, паутине. Нужно провести работу по повышению качества уборки. Это сильно портит общее впечатление.

I had to change my dates because my flight was delayed, and the staff were extremely helpful and understanding. The place is beautiful, calm, and relaxing. It’s next to a 7-Eleven, very close to the beach, and in a great location overall. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone — I had a really great stay. Koh Lanta is amazing. Wish I stayed there longer.

Close to 7-Eleven and good pizza at Loro Locco. 10 minute walk to Long Beach. I understand some of the negative reviews. No hand soap, no hand towel, not much space to hang wet things - I had read this beforehand though so I brought things so this wasn’t an issue for me. I also see what people meant with it being a little outdated. The towel rack was a bit loose of the wall and toilet ring was also a bit loose. The bathrooms accessories were outdated. I would not say it is a major issue but also could be easy fixes. Also, perhaps a little bit noisy through the exterior door. The lock mechanism required you to pull the door which was loud. Everything ’negative’ was quite minor. It’s nothing fancy but not shabby either. We were happy with our stay here.

• Kathleen (10/5): Highly recommend Morakot! - — The location is great: close to lots of restaurants and the beach is directly across the main road. There's also a 7/11 a two minute walk from the hotel, which is nice to have. And it's QUIET at Morakot because it's set back from the main road a couple hundred meters. You'll get jungle sounds instead of highway sounds at night, so nice. — The facilities are clean and comfortable. You can have your room cleaned daily, the pool and grounds are kept very tidy, the bed is not too hard, and the AC works well. Private balcony was nice too. — The owners are so friendly and helpful. They're happy to help you with anything you need, and you can rent motorbikes directly from the front desk. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm on the island! Nothing. Great stay!!

Very loud if it's raining, the noise of it bouncing of the roof completely drowned out the TV on full volume and we were unable to sleep, the shower wasn't really powerful and had bugs and spiders in there... It needed a good clean. Value for money isn't he best, but when need somewhere to sleep last minute, it's ok.

• Pauline Guillaume (8/5): - Un hôtel très sympa avec une belle piscine qui est très appréciable et au calme. La chambre est tres spacieuse avec la clim et un frigo. Nous avons de l'eau et du café tous les jours. Le personnel très sympa notre carte fonctionnait pas pour régler et le distributeur ATM était temporairement indisponible elle a été tres compréhensive et nous a directement proposé de payer lus tard. Il faudrait un peu plus de soin sur le nettoyage de la chambre et des parties communes.

The rooms are slightly outdated, and the lighting is quite bright. It would have been better to have smaller lights on the bedside tables for a cozier atmosphere.

Local recommendation - Uncle O for lunch Local activity - tour at the Lanta animal welfare centre Overall stay was good but a few things to know about to be helpful. Room was quite outdated and basic compared to expectations. We have been backpacking for a few months and booked here as a nicer stay towards the end of our trip and it matched the more budget rooms we'd been staying in elsewhere which was totally ok but if you want a nice place maybe book their poolside rooms. 1 strange instance after check in was we realised we hadn't been given info about WiFi, pool times etc so had to figure this out ourselves, the check in is more transactional. We also didn't know they sold breakfast until the last day which was a shame because I'd recommend, it's a good price.

• Louise (6/5): Pleasant - Hotel was clean, good pool and quite close to bars and restaurants Rooms are a little run down. Staff could be a little more friendly and helpful
• Louise (9/5): Superb - Good location for price, rooms adequately equipped. Quiet location. Good pool. Would stay again Noisy fridge, like it was making ice. Friend's fridge froze everything even on lowest setting . Easy to fix. A bedside light would be good
• Caroline (8/5): Nice hotel with great pool and good placement - Close to the place I was working, felt safe as a solo traveler, and very nice staff Could you a bit of maintenance and paint in the room, new towels and pool towels are much needed. Could you some more cozy light in the rooms
• Robert (9/5): Nice stay at Koh Lanta - Pool, friendly staff, close to Long Beach. It would be nice if breakfast would be buffet style for fixed price.
• Peter (9/5): Superb - Very reasonable price. Lovely pool. Only a few minutes stroll to the beach through the opposite resort ( we recommend Lymms Bar ) Only one power point in room but at the price we paid it was all good
