• Acheson (8/5): Comfortable, clean, and inexpensive - would choose it again. - We only stayed one night, but it was very clean, comfortable, and despite staying in the room (101) closest to the road, we did not experience objectionable traffic noise. The bed was very comfortable, there was a Keurig brewer in the room, and it is almost directly across the street from a Tim Hortons for a morning visit. The furniture could use a few touchups where guest wear is apparent, but it really didn’t bother me as the cleanliness was great, and that ranks top of my list along with bed comfort. We would not hesitate book this property again.

Photos matched their website. Furnishings were older but in good working condition, well maintained.

• B (8/5): Great value! - Great price, very clean, well stocked, easy check in and out. The outside of the building made me think I should have booked elsewhere...good lesson in "you shouldn't judge a book by its cover". I'd definitely stay here again!

Staff quickly sorted when asked. Blinds on 1 window dont darken room enough. Large cobweb over 1 bed & tv, a bit off season & rm probably not booked often. Property could benefit from a refresh.

• Karen (8/5): Love the location, convenience and staff - We visit Parksville several times a year to visit family. The Skylite Morel is within walking distance of our family member and a number of amenities. We are laidback travellers and appreciate the convenience and rate. Some attention to the bath/shower stall to clean the grout and splash guard would be good

• Hilda (10/5): Happy to have picked this place to stay while in Parksville. - The location was good. On a busy road, but quiet at night. Easy to get to the places we wanted to go. The person who checked us in, gave us the option of two rooms. He let us look in both so we could decide which one we wanted. Was very appreciative of that. It was nice enough here that we wouldn't have minded staying an extra night, but our next place had been booked ahead of time and it was already paid for. I really can't think of anything that I didn't like.

We were there just to stop overnight on a hurried trip. There was a smell in the room that implied that there had been a smoker in the room and they had tried to eliminate the oder, but the resulting oder was unpleasant.

Both had their own charm. For the price this was an excellent place to stay. Close to everything we wanted to do. Very quiet even though it was right on the highway. clean, comfortable accommodations
