- Brenda (10/5): - Far enough from town but still close enough to walk. Beach is five minute walk from the hotel room and they provide beach chairs!! Depending on where you are going in the town it takes about 15-25min to get there walking. The walk itself is nice, lots of restaurant/shopping options. We had an issue with our glassware and they fixed it super fast. Would definitely come back!

- Jaime (8/5): - Quaint, beachy chic studio one and 2 bedroom efficiency apartments. Mini fridge two burner stove sink table chars and all kitchen amenities included + towels hygiene kit and an iron. Beach towels available upon request. Beach chairs at front door. Heated pool area with ocean view. Caretaker is not on property 24/7, but available for most inquiries and requests. Common area with picnic tables and string lights available for use. No bbqs here. Walk across the street and down a short path and you have a nearly private beach. Close to town walkable distance, 7-Eleven and IGA nearby if you need anything.

- Helen (10/5): Pleasant off season stay - I gave service three stars only because there is no actual service. Check in is remote and there no day to day to day room cleaning. That is not a complaint, just a fact. Room was small, but clean and comfortable. Pool is heated to about 80 degrees. EXCELLENT

- Angelina (10/5): - We loved our stay! Our 5 year old daughter especially loved the pool. The property is super close to town and very clean with a nice modern beachy look and feel. Our only critique is the bathroom entry has a rather high transition molding on the floor so we kept hitting our feet on it and the bedroom was a bit raised so it had three steps up and some of us tripped there as well. Overall though we were super happy with our stay. A small suggestion, although there were plates and bowls and utensils which we appreciated, they were all glass/ceramic, perhaps adding a few plastic cups to bring drinks out by the pool would be a nice addition. Thank you for making our stay an enjoyable one!

It was off season so I didn’t expect much, but that was completely unacceptable. Prepare for thin floors/walls. And bring layers, it’s a cold room situation.

- Rebecca (8/5): Lights out - I booked 3 units in January. The bathroom lights and outlets in unit 15 did not work twice on Friday night, and the bathroom lights in unit 2 did not work on Friday. Maintenance came Friday night to unit 2, around 9:15, and tried to fix, but couldn’t. Maintenance came to unit 15 once and fixed the lights, then they went out again. Maintenance came on Saturday morning and fixed things. I felt for the amount of money spent on these units, these were issues that should not have been had.

They skimped and it shows the bathroom was terrible and the rooms got a small facelift. It was not worth the fee they charged. Glad I only booked one night.will not be recommending or going back. It is sad it could have been a beautiful motel with very little details added!

One of the bath towels had big blood stains on it. There was no step to get onto the deck. No TV…. & the sign says ‘TV’. Unacceptable!!! We bagged our 2nd night & just left!!! Don’t waste your money on this place!!!

- Arthur (6/5): - We had rented for our weeks vacation. Th Ere was no closet to hang our clothes. Just a few hooks on the wall. They eventually found us a coat rack. We were paying $700 per night and were not happy about the lack of a closet. The pool was not clean. Things were floating around. Several days I had to call to get towels in the pool area. They were supposed to have a cafe open for breakfast and lunch on Memorial Day. On Fourth of July it still was not open. Very disappointing.
- Susan (10/5): Our Stay at The Breakers-Montauk via Hotel.com - We arrived early and were greeted by friendly staff. They were able to get us into our lodging early and even upgraded us to a cottage. The location was beautiful, clean, inviting and had everything you would want while on your vacation. The listing of the site is exactly what you received when you arrived. No surprises and no disappointments. We loved our stay at The Breakers in Montauk and can't wait to go back again. Hotel.com gave us exactly what we wanted and exactly what we paid for. Thank you!!

- joshua (10/5): - This is my favorite place to stay in Montauk, the location is perfect, directly across from the beach, private cottages, 2 min drive into town, heated pool, bar, and well kept rooms that are updated, contemporary beach vibes. It’s a gem, my 5th year staying here.
- Atsuko (10/5): - Very spacious and private. Outdoor space belonged to unit gives charm and privacy. Staff were very attentive and great service. Good food and drink at coco cafe. Very small size size of wall may need repainting but that is minor detail. Hard work keeping up. My family had very happy time.

- Cristin (8/5): Affordable weeknight stay - Had a great time at the Breakers. The little bungalow rooms are the way to go. Very private and has everything you need for a short stay, plus somewhat of a view. Rooms that are not bungalows are plopped in the parking lot with no outdoor privacy and thin walls. Bed was comfy and room decor was very trendy and cute. The price of the motel was decent for a weekend got after Labor Day but the cost almost doubled come the weekend. One bad part is the hotel restaurant and bar are not open at all unless it’s the weekend after Labor Day. I understand why but seems if they plan to have guests they should at least offer a few restaurant hours and beer and wine at the bar. People were using the pool and would be nice to have some sort of service available. The pool is getting a little run down and is not heated but it did the job. Overall would return but would not want to pay $500+ a night to stay here.

- Ashley (10/5): Best beach getaway ever! - My boyfriend & I had the best stay at Breakers. Drink selection was in point. Service was excellent. Cleanliness top notch. Cozy, quiet relaxation & paradise. Perfect spot for young professionals. We will be back! 10 stars all day.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - great affordable option for pricey hamptons. loved the separate little cottages and front porch picnic tables, wifi was fast and reliable so even though there is no TVs its fine if you bring your own devices. property was very quiet and well kept while we were there. seamless checkin and checkout. the decor is simple but crisp white and contemporary it has all the essentials you need. would recommend however that the property invest in some type of blackout curtains because the morning sun hits at 5am and lights the whole cottage up, no avoiding with the blinds!
- Jan (10/5): Delightful—above expectations - Delightful place! Totally above expectations. Better described as “cabins” than a motel. The rooms are charming—very modern, clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. They really thought of the details. The kitchenette was perfect four out needs. A lot of seaside places feel damp and musty, there was none of that. It rained all day our first day so we spent longer inside than expected but we were totally happy to do that. We also had no problem checking in several hours early.

- Noelle (8/5): Really cute and clean Motel - We stayed here and it was charming no TV in rooms, parking was easy, rooms very clean, there was a little table and chairs set up outside each room with umbrella. Coffee and snacks available. Beach is located across the street.
- Jaclyn (10/5): - Really enjoyed our stay at breakers! It was very clean and comfortable with a nice view of the ocean! Also loved having easy access to the beach. Self check in and check out was very easy.
- jihye (8/5): - It was a great stay and a cute boutique motel except my room was right next to the road so a bit noisy by car passing. It would’ve been much nicer if I got a room more inside. Overall, it was a good stay
