The bathroom was big and had a large bench area to accommodate our items. A courtesy bus took us to and from the restaurant at their "sister" motel where we again had friendly staff and excellent food. If we are in Mudgee again, we will definitely stay at the Horatio.

• Alyse (10/5): - The Horatio Suites Hotel is a lovely renovated property in Mudgee. The rooms are spacious and include a balcony, which is a great feature. However, it was disappointing that there were no chairs provided on the balcony, we had to drag one from inside to enjoy it. We were also a little let down that the hotel didn’t acknowledge our anniversary; a small gesture such as a late checkout, a complimentary drink, or even a simple note would have been a nice touch, particularly as it’s not on the cheaper side of hotels in Mudgee. Saying that, we would stay there again.

Absolutely no complaints or criticisms. The Horatio management have obviously developed a good system, and it works!
• Woolly-Bully63 (10/5): Perfect stay. - Perfect stay. Asked for ground floor when booking as wife is on crutches following breaking her leg. We were allocated a room for mobility restricted guests plus they provided a temporary disabled parking spot. Large room with quiet airconditioning and comfortable bed and pillows. Staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is available as are on site pizzas at good prices. Easy 2 minute drive to town. Highly recommended.

• Jonathan (2/5): Too Much Noise - Everything was good except the the air conditioner sounded like the refrigerator unit on a large truck. Unfortunately it was a cold night so the option was freeze or put up with the noise. Disappointedly when mentioned on checkout the problem was known about and the fix was happening the day after we left. And it wasn't as if The Horatio was full on the night we stayed.

The bathroom was seperate which was good, ordered in with pizzas from the in-house restaurant and delivered to our door, very clean throughout with all the amenities, lounge and seperate table and chairs. • 752lynj (10/5): Great comfy hotel. - Great hotel on the edge of town. We had a king suite. Bed was super comfy & comfy pillows. So quiet. Slept really well. A small kitchen which is perfect for us as we do our own breakfast. And occasional eat in at night. Bathroom & shower were great. Water hot & great strong flow. Our only annoyance was there was only one bedside table. Could not fit in one beside my hubby as lounge next to bed. Would rather a queen bed with 2 bedside tables. They do pizzas also & deliver to your room. Don't bother getting a gf pizza as very tiny! Had a wonderful stay & would definitely stay again.

Was to pay at hotel on arrival, but they withdrew money before arrival, was planning to pay with a different method. Dont advertise pay at property, then withdraw before arrival. Expensive breakfast on offer, need ti have an option for room and breakfast as a package.

• MC-Aust (6/5): Spacious comfortable rooms - The rooms was very spacious with good kitchenette. The heater sounded like a washing machine on a permanent spin cycle. I had to wipe all the dust off the hair dryer to be able to use it and the filter was clogged with dust. If management can fix these simple things it would be a good motel. It was quiet for being on a main road.

The rooms are large and clean with plenty of parking, a good breakfast offering and space to realx and have drink with friends.

• 552kerrynb (10/5): Best accommodation in Mudge - We have regularly stayed at the Horatio Hotel for the past five or six years. The service is always brilliant. The rooms are always very clean. The staff that greet you when you arrive are always very friendly and very helpful. In reception area there’s a coffee machine and you can get any type of coffee for free And it makes a great cappuccino. We Book year to year to stay here because it’s just a great hotel and walking distance to all the hotels and restaurants in town.

The Horatio Team, everyone from reception to housekeeping, are always so warm, friendly and welcoming, and absolutely nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are thoughtfully appointed and so comfortable with everything that you need - including loads of power points and charging ports! I love the ease and accessibility of the secure car parking and their willingness to be as flexible as possible with check-in and check-out times. So grateful for The Horatio and the beautiful team!

A little bit out of the main busy Town Centre but still an easy 15-minute walk or a 3-minute car drive.

• Liam (2/5): Left stranded - Not much to say outside of the title but we booked a room here in November of 2023 to stay in February 2024, get to the hotel to check in only to be told they don't have our booking and are fully booked. This is despite me having a confirmation number, invoice, receipt to prove my booking, which was all verified by a member of the Hotels.com support team we had on the phone trying to help us. To say we were stressed was an understatement. We understand bookings change but there was no communication from the hotel that we didn’t have a room until we arrived. Wouldn’t consider this hotel again in the future

• Matt (10/5): - Loved the smell of roses when we walked in, loved the grey washer marked makeup remover, loved the make up wipes, loved the instant hot water supply, loved the water pressure, loved the friendly staff, loved the appreciation of an unusual situation forcing us to checkout late. So many things to love that we will be back again and again.
• Vicki (10/5): Exceptional service, great rooms - Very friendly and helpful service - the staff were very welcoming. Rooms, large and clean. Little kitchenette was handy. Great value. Would definitely return.
