Guest Reviews
- akhil (10/5): - Nice property with heritage style hotel
- 885mukeshg (4/5): Bad experience - Not guest friendly. House keeping staff is really rude. They even refused to provide extra pillow. Even they claim food is pure vegetarian but they cook veg food alongwith non veg food, in the same utensils, use the same cutlery... They refused even smallest of requests like providing of extra pillow, extra bed that too after charging for the same... Really bad..
- 988chiragd (10/5): Delicious. - They are really good host.
FnB was included with my stay and they really did the best to serve delicious food to us.
I really recommend trying FnB or having office parties here.........................thanks and kudos to umaid team the way handled team events
- O427ZDrachelb (6/5): Good facilities but pool too cold too swim and got unwell eating at the restaurant - We stayed here for a few days when staying in Jaipur, the facilities are great, they have 2 pools (both were ridiculously freezing!) pool table and table football and a few other things which our kids enjoyed, but we couldn’t swim due to how cold the water was. We ate in the restaurant and got extremely ill but the staff didn’t seem to acknowledge this much or do much for us and we couldn’t leave our room for 24 hours. The breakfast was limited, there could of been more choice but you could make do with some fruit and toast
- brendamN5554GO (10/5): Come and stay here - My father and I really enjoyed our stay at Umaid Haveli. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The food at the restaurant was top notch. The location is a little out of the city making for a quiet break from the noise and hustle around the city, palaces, and forts. A great place to stay and we highly recommend!
- Tour44079282926 (10/5): Must visit with family - Excellent property.gorgeous decor.open spaces.not too far from the city . Clean and tidy rooms. House keeping dept was amazing . In house dining was great . Do try the laal maas , all the food we ordered was amazing (mostly non veg).good breakfast .they served samosa one day which was really good.
Some suggestions - bigger water bottles can be kept in the room.quality of toiletries can be improved .
- 690rajshreeb (10/5): Umaid Haveli Jaipur great stay/restaurant - Really great experience with family at Umaid Haveli. Room was spacious, fitting the Rajasthani culture and style. Restaurant was also great with whole hearted breakfast and dinner menu. Throughly enjoyed experience here and would recommend.
- susaneY279YB (10/5): Great restaurant in beautiful hotel - Fantastic food and service, staff very friendly people, they kept the buffet open when we were running a bit late from a walk which was appreciated. Food very fresh and authentic with a lot of variety. Hotel also lovely and pool amazing on a hot day. Perfect
- 97julianaj (10/5): Marvellous and Beautiful - Helpful, polite, kind and go the extra mile. 5 🌟 stars . Thank you so much for all you do. May you have the wisdom of the salmon and May all your chooks lay golden eggs. Soooooo grateful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- colinmO582QQ (10/5): Hotel paradise. Kitchen and restaurant:) - Each morning we had a beautiful buffet in the dining hall. We were able to eat outside with the view of the gardens. The selection of food was vast and of high quality. The service was flexible and very competent :)

- Manav (10/5): - This property really gives you all the vibes of being in Rajasthan. Stunning decor, amazing food with lots of variety. Fresh dosas and eggs made to order at breakfast along with many other options. The room was super comfortable and the roof top pool area offers a beautiful view. Highly recommend and works love to return again!
- Jason (10/5): - Nice hotel and street was very walkable
- rg450 (6/5): A bit tired - This is a large gaveling- built around 10 years ago and specifically aimed at the wedding trade.
Our rooms were comfortable but a bit tired.
Dining room staff were pleasant but slow. Food average.
We made a mistake in choosing a hotel so far out of the main centre. It meant a lot of travelling each day.
- utkarshdubey05 (10/5): Royal Wedding experience in Jaipur - So we booked umaid haveli for my sister wedding. If you are looking for humble and quick staff, a garden to host wedding, multiple pools, infiniti pool, games room, 3 banquet halls and delicious restaurants. This is definitely the place. No kidding
You need to book the entire venue with 55rooms for the wedding. The rooms have a giant clearance , king size bed and extra bedding on the side and has a 3 occupancy.
This should be in one of top hotels in terms of hygiene, regular cleaning and prompt room service
I have been traveling for a while, this should one of the top ones and definitely a top 3 if you are looking to plan a wedding!
- 313pritis (10/5): Travelling with family - Amazing hospitality by mr dinesh and Mr Rajinder in buffet services. Dinner was also good at Umaid Residency. Highly recommended . best property to stay in jaipur. very clean and hygienic. Would love to visit again. Woild love to visit again.

- leahrN4533IV (10/5): Sydney family - Great hotel. Lovely service. Very helpful. Stayed 4 days and enjoyed each day breakfast and dinner, then day trips around Jaipur. Dinner options extensive and open to adjusting items to meet our dietary needs. Nice to chat around fire outside and meet new people.

- Sakshi (6/5): - Average stay
- Sonia (10/5): - Very nice and clean
- Autumn (10/5): - This hotel is beautiful! We had a wonderful stay and the staff were friendly and helpful.
- Himanshu (8/5): - I had a good stay at this resort. The rooms and washrooms were clean and tidy. The room was very spacious and the ambience of the room was very royal looking. I would love it more if they had a bathtub too in their amenities since the pool was not accessible due to local COVID-19 guidelines. The food was NOT at all good, whether I speak of dinner or of breakfast buffet. It was like the chef doesn't know what salt is and how is it used. The games they had were good apart from the Table Table table which is of quite small size. The open area of terrace was also great where we sat till quite late at night before they closed it at around 2:00-30 AM. But, do take note, that this resort is in Amer (near to Amer Fort) and is about 30 kms (~30 mins drive) from main Jaipur city.
So, overall my stay at this resort was good and enjoyable.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - the architecture is very rajasthan and impressive but the staff have no smile and the shower is the worse among all the hotels we stay throughout India. There was no view and is bit too far from the sightseeing spots.
- Shashank (10/5): Shashank vyapari - Excellent ambiance. Good food and good service.
- Rajnish (8/5): - The stay was enjoyable, Hotel looks run down, room maintenance very poor, shower drainage blocked
Breakfast choice very limited.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The staff was non cooperative, unprofessional and service was horrible..They didn’t have professional fair and honest treatment for their customers including me.
- Karun (8/5): Nice and clean place to stay - It was a nice and pleasant stay
- Verified traveler (6/5): Inside Hotel good .. outside hotel busy area. - Hotel is good inside. Locality is not that great. Not very open outside the hotel. Close to the Amer Fort.
- Melissa (10/5): Palace Hotel in Jaipur - Great gem in Jaipur! Loved every minute here. Great buffet breakfast!
- Andre (10/5): Excelente hotel. Eles possuem outro hotel man área central. Não confundir os dois.
- A (6/5): - Not good value for money, location is also far away from city which at times can be problematic and most importantly lack of professionalism
- Padma (8/5): Good one for the budget. Nice decor and clean room - Hotel decor is beautiful. Breakfast was good. Lot of picturesque places displaying heritage. Wifi was good. We had the suite for 5. Very spacious rooms. The hot water jug needed some serious scrubbing inside and so was iron box and stand both of which we didnt use. Otherwise the rooms were very clean and comfortable and enjoyable.front desk services were great for car rentals and sight seeing. Jaipur map and city guide was of great help.
- Marjorie (6/5): - Place is good for the price we paid...
Food could use an improvement...
Staff at front desk were friendly and accomodating enough...
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good one - Nice stay overall - just bit far from Jaipur city..
- Verified traveler (10/5): - beautifully maintained, clean, and had great service! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.
- Shruti (10/5): Nice hotel - It was nice experience. Clean, well maintained and awesome staff behaviour. I would definitely recommend and re-visit this hotel.
- shekhar (6/5): Comfortable place to stay... - It is an amazing hotel, with traditional Rajasthani decor, located in nice and clean area of Kukas, about 700 meters off the Delhi-Jaipur highway. Very well maintained, with clean and spacious rooms. You get an awesome view of the Sunset from the rooftop - which has a small pool and cafe(non functional when I was there). Being away from the city it is not an easy commute. You have to use UBER or OLA to call for a cab, costs about INR 150-200 and an hour each way. I feel it is better to stay in the city and save on time for sightseeing trips. The hotel location is close to Amber Fort and Jal Mahal.
- mic (8/5): Family room - Very good, clean, nice staffs and quiet
Breakfast line may b too short
- RALPH (4/5): Umaid Haveli was not worth the drive - When we booked we had an impression we were staying somewhere away from the city with a view of hills etc but back at the ranch it is 20km from Jaipur in an industrial come University town that was so odd. Strange place for a hotel. The only redeeming feature is the amazing white metal covered carved doors that make up the entrance.
- M2017 (10/5): Truly a hiddem gem! - Other reviews knocked points for the location, which is outside Jaipur city, but since we had a car and driver this was no matter to us. It proved a quiet respite from the hectic city and a truly wonderful experience. Certainly one of the best hotels throughout our say in India. Hesitant to write this review only because I hope for it to remain a hidden gem but too good not to share. Thank you, Umaid Haveli staff.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Overpriced Hotel - Cons:
- Very expensive hotel compare to facilities provided.
- Very expensive food, One water bottle cost me rupees 115 which is rupees 15 outside
- TV/Cable was not working during our entire stay
- wifi/Internet was not working
- Extremely slow service in restaurant
- Rooms are small
- The hotel do not have any view
- The location is not close to attractions and roads to this place are very narrow.
- The restaurant staff treat differently to foreigners and Indians
Pros:
- Front desk staff was nice
- Nice ambience
- Breakfast was ok
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice Hotel but very far from airport and city - 1. Beautiful Hotel,
2. Very good staff
3. Clean rooms
4. Good breakfast
5. Dinner was ok, not great
6. Away from city and 1.5 hrs away from airport
- Verified traveler (6/5): - We went for a short 2 day visit to Jaipur, wanted to stay in a traditional Rajput style hotel. I found this hotel on Expedia and it had some beautiful pictures of the interior and especially a rooftop restaurant with lovely views of the hills. The hotel had very pleasing decor, polite staff, good room service (the tea especially was a huge hit!). We were quite disappointed though when we were told that the rooftop restaurant was not open: various reasons were cited by staff, I got the impression that they were using the rooftop pictures for marketing mainly and open the restaurant only if an event is booked in the hotel.
The breakfast was mediocre, restaurant menu options for meals were quite good and well prepared.
- Bela (10/5): Awesome experience - Overall, It was great!!!!!!
- Lin (10/5): Quiet stays - This building is very decorative with beautiful hand paintings on wall and ceilings. Located a bit out of town near several universities enabled us to have good and quiet stays at nights.
- renu (8/5): A little gem away from the bustle - The hotel was beautifully restored, its artistic character everywhere to see. Breakfast was great. A little away from the city center. Wifi was slow but we managed. Great value for your money.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Awful - The hotel seems bigger in pictures and such a projection is deceptive. People pay to enjoy and have fun on their holiday and not sulk over the decision made. I checked in and checked out within 10 mins even though the payment was made in advance. There is no privacy with people barging into the room and hen being unapologetic. The owner barged into my room and instead of an apology kept on staring and giving cold glares. Is this what you u expect from a hotel which claims to be one of the best? I would never recommend the hotel to anyone. My money, the entire fare was paid before I reached and the hotel can keep it. But this is the hospitality business and with the approach the owners have, I doubt how they do business. Shabby approach, rude, uncouth, unapologetic is all I can say.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good overall - The room was very nice. Service was average. Seems like they are doing some renovation work.
- Jagmohan (10/5): Awesome experience - It was very Pleasant stay, Amazing rooms....
- Jagadish (8/5): Good and decent hotel not too far from the city - Overall a good hotel and relatively new so rooms and comfits are good. The service seems to be something to be desired.
- Jagadish (6/5): Good hotel - Good hotel and good staff but needs some training and urgency. Hope they get better and will make the hotel 3+ star.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean rooms in a safe and relaxing location. A drive out of the city which gave the opportunity to see elephants and camels at work. Restaurant had good views. I would use this hotel again if I am in the area.
- Saikat (2/5): hopeless hotel - hotel was a house like property. service people were all nepalis. food was exorbitantly charged. all bills were fake. water bottles too was high on charge. the hotel boys knew nothing about travel though jaipur is a tourish destination. they even cannot arrange vehicles.
- Sumit (8/5): Nice hotel in VIP area surrounded by Colleages - Nice hotel in VIP area surrounded by Colleages. Very close to highway and just 5 Km away from Amber fort. Hotel facilities were excellent and staff was helpful and courteous.
- craig (8/5): Very nice hotel in tradition Rajasthan style - The hotel is located 12km / 20 minute journey from the city. It doesn't serve alcohol and there's nothing around the college campus zone to visit. The staff were great, the food excellent and overall it was very quiet.
- Abhay Mandal (8/5): Pleasant stay - It's been a hot day weekend.. but Room A/c work like we're on a Hills station..amazingly cool. I like there fresh breakfast buffet but there should be somebody who can cook good eggs. overall a nice stay.
- Pilar (10/5): Excellent getaway! - The hotel room was beautiful! The room service was excellent and the food was incredible. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the hotel and it was all excellent. The rooftop pool was also great. Even though not directly in Jaipur, it is close enough to drive to. Totally recommended.
