Philip (8/5): Really a special and unique environment - It is the main lodge at the entrance to Gorongoza National Park. Its a remarkable achievement with running hot water, electricity etc. with a fantastic well run restaurant and well organised safaris by Game wardens. internet is available if slow. There is also a swimming pool for summer season. Your neighbours a warthogs! I felt the shop could have been better stocked with some self catering supplies which were really non existant. The interpretation centre for wet days needs an upgrade to run informative films on the latest developments of the park with better maps. the best maps are on the internet! There is also a need for a local fuel pump and general supplies store so it is important to take spares with you!!
Hugo (9/5): Superb - The hotel is located in the heart of Gorongoza park and driving there one already meets some of the animals. The hotel has a nice restaurant and very friendly staff. It is also under construction and soon there will be more facilities like a store.

Yannick and his staff went out of their way to do their best to make sure the time in this property is the best. i had a great stay and would try to visit again in the future based on my pleasant experience
Verified traveler (8/5): Nice lodge in an awesome national park - The lodge was very nice and it was quite clean, although my bathroom had a pretty horrible smell, like sewage, although I never complained. They provide two small bottles of water per day and the breakfast is okay with a mix of hot foods and things such as pastries, fruit, etc. There are a few things that aren't advertised correctly on Orbitz, however. One is that in the garden rooms, it's not a bathtub, but a small shower. Also, the only area where there's wifi is in the lobby, but it's extremely slow and even more so in the evening when many people are there using it. It was nice to see baboons and warthogs roaming around the gardens. The excursions on offer were great and 2 out of 3 game drives I went on, I saw lions, which was awesome! I'd stay here again, but I do think it's a bit expensive for what's offered.
