Guest Reviews
- Kathy (2/5): Disgusted - The cottage was run down and an exterminator had to come bc the cottage had palm rats in the attic and in the walls. The traffic was noisy (school bus, fire trucks, )
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very happy peaceful good fishing rooms where clean good view of the water they have free kayaks and I just quite and peaceful
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Cool little town and all. Very Old Florida feel to it. Same for this property. Owner was easy to reach and very nice, but the unit (upstairs) needs major updating. The unit is tilting (we rolled a marble from the living room all the way to the bathroom because it tilts down). Cosmetic enhances, really, and a better cleaning. Bedding was good. This place could be incredible with a little TLC. Close to everything, very walkable.
- Holly (6/5): Ok - It was ok
- RUTHANN (6/5): - our room was on second floor, O asked for accesible, why put us on second floor. Hole i deck had rock covering it and tripped over it twice, could not fish from either doch, both blocked by boats that look like they have not moved in years. Must have full time people living in one cottage with dog that came up to our area and pooped all over property.
- Fatima (8/5): Pretty little cottage - We were there just for 1 night on our way to Captiva Island, so it was perfect for a 1 night stop. It had everything you need, bathroom, kitchen and sofa bed + table in living room. Only thing we didn't like, it smelled a little damp, like moldy. Not too bad, but if you are sensitive, you will smell it. The kids love the pool and the little deck, where they could fish from ;)
- VERA (6/5): - The place was small. Sliding door in bedroom to go out was not working well. it was a struggle. bug droppings behind toilet. Nice pool but small and needs work. I would not stay there again.!!
- Jennifer (10/5): - The hotel was very clean and peaceful great fishing from the dock. There is only one grill on site. So you have to share. Will definitely be going back.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - An older building but excellent customer service by manager!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location. - Friendly and easy check in. Definitely a Matlacha style place. Parking for our trailer and dockage for tha boat. Can walk to restaurants, etc. Bed is a little small and lumpy, but th couch had sheets on it and made for a nice additional sleeping space.
- Sandy (10/5): - Incredible, amazing, phenomenal, the absolutely best place I have ever stayed. Bed was perfect, kitchen had everything one could need, bathroom had extra. Place was very clean, everything worked perfect. Staff was very very very courteous and helpful. The only negative is I couldn't stay longer. I will positively be back. Thanks guys for such a great place for us to stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great stay .We enjoyed our vacation there. A lot to do in that area.
- Tony (2/5): Do Not Stay Here For Business Trips! - I had an appointment nearby for early the next morning so I booked what I thought was a hotel. It was only about 5 small rental units instead. I had to call and wait for someone to come let me in, there was no heat except for 2 space heaters during winter, the wifi password never worked, the owner tried to run the cost as a land purchase instead of a hotel stay and came to my room at 8:30 PM when the charge wouldn't go through on my business card, the table was leveled with a stack of paper towels, the shower was smaller than on a cruise ship, I'm 5'8" and had to crouch down to use the mirror to shave, the bedroom had about 15" on either side, no bedroom door, just a shower curtain, room is only about 20' from the main road, stove burners lined w/ aluminum foil. Don't go here thinking that you checking in to a hotel room for a business trip.
- DR THOMAS E (2/5): Mildew smell and hair - This room was smelly, dirty (gross), the bed made us roll to the middle. Would not reccommend to anyone at half the price. The outside was very nice.
- John (10/5): Satisfied - Great place, great location. I will certainly be booking their again
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location. - I love Pine Island area. This hotel fits exactly what you get in Pine Island. Relaxed, beach-themed, and friendly laid back people. Hotel staff is very friendly and assertive.
- Theresa (10/5): A little hidden treasure, Great location... - We stayed in the Sea grape 1, the room was in a great location, we enjoyed every minute of our trip. we love this spot and will be returning for sure!! This place was so relaxing!! Stress what stress, it all just melted away!! Thought it was nice they had kayaks you could use but we chose to bring our own, this is a little hidden paradise, Great area for a couple that wants time to reconnect after dealing with our everyday crazy lives..There was a kitchen in our unit which had everything you needed to make a meal, shopping areas very close.. The only opportunity was there is no office so you needed to call to find out what cottage your staying in, other than that perfect place.. Thank you for the great stay, and see you in the future!!
- Charlotte (8/5): Clean Quaint Cottage - We were in the sea grape two cottage, which had a private deck view of the pool and the canal. We had to climb a flight of stairs to get to it, but well worth it. My husband and I rented this cottage because we didn't want to stay in another hotel. We were very surprised to see that it had been newly renovated and supplied with new small appliances. The owner is not on site, but just a telephone call away. Sivan, the owner was very attentive to our questions. The cottage was small, but great for two people. The location is within walking distance to the shops in Matlacha.
- Melvin (10/5): Florida Village - Quaint cottage overlooking the water
- FRANCISCA (8/5): small town, nice little place to stay - Great little place to stay
