- Julie (10/5): -
- Tolicisa (10/5): - Everything
- Cassie (8/5): Fun, comfy, and elegant - The rooms were very clean and smelt fantastic! Bed was comfy. Staff was friendly. You have to pay extra for pretty much everything else such as breakfast and internet
- Andrew (6/5): - Thought the carpet in building 2 needs to be replaced. Worn out. Didn't see handicap parking up top. Parked in lot at the bottom of hill. The 2 elevators in building two need to be updated as well. Have no idea how old that carpet is.
- Manfred (7/5): -
- Dejah (10/5): My stay was beautiful and relaxing - Great service, beautiful hotel There was ZERO flaws
- Kourtney (10/5): -
- Grosenbach (8/5): -
- Brandon (9/5): - Great location, comfortable bed. Great service.
- Kari (10/5): The hotel met our needs and we would stay there again. - Breakfast was good, atmosphere at the bar was phenomenal, service at the bar and at breakfast excellent. Nothing,
- Marquette (9/5): -
- Sharan (9/5): Great location and very comfortable. - Location Door to bathroom was a sliding door that was not flush to the wall. Doorman upon leaving was not helpful with opening door when we were leaving. We had lots of shopping bags and luggage. He literally walked away.
- Tameka (2/5): -
- Juan (10/5): - Nice and clean. Staff friendly and attentive. Rooms and bathroom are very small compared to other hotels.
- sofiya (6/5): Decent stay for a the weekend - Beautiful artwork in the background the crepes were good, decent selection The rooms could not be adjusted to a lower temperature. Made sleeping very uncomfortable.
- Steve (5/5): Ok but not great - Location Small rooms. Not enough wardrobe space
- Kimberly (9/5): I’m glad this place came back. It’s good to have you back. Thank you. - It was Christmas time, and it was decorated beautifully
- giles (7/5): - Location, staff and clean comfortable rooms .... Need more things to do in the winter months inside the hotel. Maybe add a pool or a game room section.

- Andrei (4/5): - There is no spa or pool at the property. The rooms are very old. The property has a wedding reception therefore expect loud music even at the 4th floor. This hotel is a 2-star at best.
- Jonathan (2/5): - Absolutely terrible! Staff was unavailable/absent. I was put in a room attached to a wedding venue and both nights of my stay there was a wedding with loud noise, lots of people, doors slamming, DJ/bar etc. Stayed for 2 nights and got 1 hour of sleep total due to the awful environment. Do not recommend this hotel to anyone! Too expensive for the headache and frustration it caused.
- Esmeralda (10/5): - Everything was great
- Maggie (10/5): - They were perfect in every way!
- Kyle (10/5): - This hotel is so beautiful and chic.
The service was fabulous and the staff was so professional and friendly. The food was excellent as well. My husband and I will definitely be returning.
- John (10/5): - The Drake in Oak Brook, IL was outstanding. From the time of our arrival Friday afternoon to our departure on Sunday at noon, their staff from the valet parking to the check in as well as the waiters and waitresses made us feel welcomed and appreciated. I cannot say enough good things of how we were treated. My new #1 of accomodations to stay when we are in Chicago. Kudo's to the entirestaff at the Drake.
- Ricardo (10/5): - They have different restaurants available in the hotel. I didn't like one of the entrance do not have a pathway and have to walk through wet grass
- Lizbeth (10/5): Loved it! - I love the indoor gym and the scenery outside of both of the hotel buildings and all of the memories they provided and how they specialize the hotel room to you personally. No bad complaints at all.
- Maggie (10/5): - Beautiful Hotel and great service.

- John (10/5): - The staff was terrific. Concierge text service from Joanna & Kristle helping organize rooms for a family wedding. Khulood & Jessica set up a great delicious private dinner - where Esteban, Miguel & Norma provided excellent pro active dinner and drinks service.
- Juan (10/5): -
- Pranav (6/5): - Our room was nice, but there were stains in the bed sheets.
- Shaquita (8/5): - Overall great stay. The room was dark, there were just lamps on the nights stands. The dark gray paint or no lights in the ceiling added to the mood. But the beds were comfy and the shower was great!
- angie (8/5): - We really liked our stay at the hotel for our anniversary! The room was nice but it did have a musty smell in the room! The staff/ housekeeping was very friendly and helpful. The grounds were very pretty and well kept! Overall it was very nice and we would go back again in the future.
- Russell (10/5): - Great stay
- John (10/5): The staff was refreshingly very professional and accommodating. The room was comfortable and clean. - Very efficient setup, easy check in and out. Only one ice machine in the east building and it’s in the basement.
- Glen (10/5): - Beautiful property! The staff was very professional and helpful
- Annie (10/5): A Welcomed Escape – Exceptional Stay at The Drake - After having to abruptly leave a disappointing stay at another hotel nearby, The Drake in Oakbrook was exactly the breath of fresh air we needed. From the moment we arrived, everything went smoothly. Our room was ready, the mobile key worked perfectly, and we were placed in a lovely corner room that was clean, comfortable, and fully functional.
We visited COA in the evening and had a great time turning in our key for a surprise experience—such a fun and creative touch! Later, we enjoyed a nightcap in the lounge, which was lively and welcoming. The Brie cheese plate was absolutely delicious, and the bartender was not only attentive and knowledgeable, but had a great sense of humor that made our evening even better.
The property itself is beautiful and peaceful—we loved walking the grounds and taking it all in. Our room was cozy, quiet, and inviting, and we finally got the restful night’s sleep we had hoped for.
This stay reminded us of what great hospitality looks like. We will absolutely be returning and recommending The Drake to friends and colleagues. Thank you for turning our trip around!
- Derrick (10/5): - Great property
- STANLEY (10/5): - Excellent accommodations, friendly staff for a weekend getaway.
- JEANETTE (10/5): Would love to return - The three restaurants were fabulous esp COA
Only one slight suggestion we were on the first floor and were unable to open shades due to privacy and it was a bit dark in our room 503
Needed a map instead of a hat rack
- Stephen (7/5): Solid stay in Oak Brook - Good location. Very comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking. About time for a refresh on carpeting, painting, etc. Beginning to look a bit tired. In-room coffee was worst I’ve ever tasted—get a new brand.
- Joshua (10/5): -
- rabia (10/5): - Super clean and modern rooms
- Dennis (10/5): - THe customer service was excellent. The rooms in the secondary building were spectacular. New and updated.
However, this hotel needs a gift shop or the coffee shop to stay open all day because my husband needed a snack before the wedding reception (blood sugar) and we finished what we had brought along. There was no place to buy a protein bar nor candy bar. I find this peculiar and dangerous. They told us to order a meal from the bar. The bar was crowded and I tried but it took forever so gave up. Please change. Thanks
- gjk90 (10/5): Beautiful property inside and out - We had a rocky start here because the air conditioning had been out, and the room was a steamy 87 degrees when we checked in. However, Patrick at the front desk did everything in his power to make it right, and the entire staff--from the doormen to the woman working at Starbucks--made us feel welcome. Long story short, the A/C kicked in, the room was fantastic, and we had a terrific stay in the end.
We stayed here to attend a wedding at the nearby Wilder Mansion, and it set the tone for a lovely weekend. The property was stunning, with an abundance of flowers and greenery, and the lobby and bar exuded classic charm.
Our deluxe king room was spacious and well-appointed, overlooking the garden area that was always set up for weddings and the patio of Coa, the tapas fusion restaurant (which I highly recommend--especially the paella). The only odd thing was that the A/C came out of vents in the windowsills, so we had to use pillows to hold the curtains back so the air would flow.
Keep in mind that large parties often book here, and the lobby bar can get quite rowdy with post-wedding festivities, but our room was quiet and comfortable. Surprisingly, the price was about the same as other generic chain hotels in the area, making this a go-to next time we're in the area to visit family.
- Geri J (10/5): Gorgeous property, wonderful staff - We had a rocky start here because the air conditioning had been out, and the room was a steamy 87 degrees when we checked in. - John (8/5): - Outstanding door staff, excellent service overall
- David (8/5): Overall very comfortable, I think you need to re-think your rooms for the modern era. - I really like this hotel, the location (I visit WeatherTech in Bolingbrook), so I like to be close but not too close as I visit friends in Chicago, the bar is great, the food is great. The rooms need updating, more modern, it's classically out of date, my room this time was not so good, in the corner too small considering the cost.
- tashimal2024 (10/5): Amazing stay always - The Drake Oakbrook has brought us back🥰 they have some of the best service that I have seen, staying at many many marriotts, this one is our favorite the staff is amazing, above and beyond is an understatement for this staff because they will go higher than that for their guests. Big shout out to James valet & Karina they both are outstanding and helped us each time we visited. AGAIN we will be back 😊 WE HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE
- Richards (6/5): - I would think that breakfast would be part of the package, but that wasn’t the case and for me am not looking forward to going back there anymore.
- lucycan (10/5): Classy stay - First time here. I spent 3 nights. The place has a very classy feel. Great lobby bar. Nice restaurant for meals. Everyone I interacted with was excellent.
The rooms are offered in two locations: Main tower and "annex". I stayed in the annex and it was great. Quite quiet. Rooms have wood floors, nice bathrooms, comfy beds, nice pillows and great black out blinds. What more do you need?
I would not hesitate to stay again!
One downside was the doors slam hard and can echo down the hall.
- Toni (10/5): - Went Mothers Day weekend. Accommodations were top tier. Staff was quite pleasant and met my needs
- Kathy (10/5): Exceptional -
- mark a. (10/5): - Great location
Easy parking
Close to restaurants and highways
- Washington (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel was beautiful inside and out. It was very clean and comfortable. I was able to just relax and enjoy my stay. There was some noise from other guests in the hallway and also upstairs, but my stay was good.
- Laurinta (10/5): - Great dinner and stay
- Tiara (10/5): Excellence - The property was clean and the staff was very friendly. Nothing.
- Ebony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tyna (10/5): - The staff was very nice! Our room had an amazing view of the courtyard and was very clean!
- David (10/5): - Thank you for upgrading us to the Buckingham Suite! It was an experience that absolutely delighted my wife. She can't stop talking about it! If I had to criticize one thing, it would be the breakfast room service. With a room like that, I would like to be able to order a gourmet meal and eat in the elegant dining room rather than receive a bad meal served in a paper bag. Other than that, the staff was wonderful and the room was wonderful!
- OnAir715721 (10/5): Beautiful Experience! - What a beautiful experience. Staff was friendly and professional. The hotel was not just a room to stay. The valet parking was a nice surprise and it was free ( minus tips).
We certainly enjoyed our visit and will return. Restaurant on premises. Hotel has character.
- Portia (10/5): - Classy and elegant hotel! Love the decor and atmosphere
- OLIVIA (8/5): - Good
- Djorn (10/5): - James at the front valet and Barry the bartender are exceptional at their job. James was knowledgeable and approached me with a warm courtesy before I could get the first word out. Barry is a funny guy but one that takes his job seriously and he has mastered the art of mixing drinks and multi tasking. Hats off to them both.
- Bryan (10/5): - Beautiful jr king suite room design.
- Tracy (10/5): - Always a pleasant stay.
- Elias (10/5): Exceptional -
- W2952WTmichaell (2/5): Nice hotel but sketchy - We were in town for a wedding and on day 2 of our stay we received a call from the "front desk" on the hotel phone with someone trying to scam us. It was through the hotel phone so something was either hacked or someone was working on the inside to assist. Additionally, they called my cell phone trying to play the same scam getting us to provide credit card details or our room was going to be canceled due to computer glitch (how did they get my cell phone?). When I went downstairs to advise, we were told that someone hacked their system, the police were called, and that a manager would get back with me on what happened. That was the last I heard of this incident and no one from the hotel or Marriott has contacted. How did this happen? Why did it happen? How were they able to get inside the local phone network? How did they get my cell phone number?
Nice hotel but just keep your head on a swivel for whatever scam is going on during your stay.
Do yourself a favor and stay at the Hyatt across the street and just walk to any event that might be there. At least this way you don't have to worry about the hotel being negligent with your personal details.
- Susan (10/5): - Wonderful experience
- Ashaunta (10/5): Exceptional - I loved everything from the facility, the staff, the bar,the whole ambiance was amazing. The whole hotel was a vibe....
- Christina (10/5): - Very nice stay, staff efficient and friendly.
- Joseph (10/5): - Always a nice stay. Barry at the bar is great
- Chelsea (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catlin (10/5): - Very charming hotel with nice details and touches.
- Strimling (9/5): Superb - Staff (esp James) was very friendly. We enjoyed eating at COA. There was a wedding going on, so there were loud people in the hallways late at night.
- 645justb (10/5): A Pleasant Experience - James the doorkeeper elevated our experience at The Drake. His classiness, customer obsession, and attention to detail made the night and service stand out next to the rest. Great destination. This happened to be a singular night out, which will now lead to more nights spent there.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Rowdy wedding means no sleep - There was a wedding at the hotel during our stay. The guests were very loud and rowdy. We could hear them through the walls. Also the beds were very hard and not comfortable. Overall it was not a good stay.
- Tiffany (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dale (10/5): - From staff to the cleanliness of the room, everything was great.
- Uylessis (2/5): - Went for a valentine getaway. Room was poorly maintained poorly insulated bathroom smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned properly

- Jackie (10/5): - Room was small, but everything was clean
- Justin (6/5): Pleasant - There were some workers with a chain saw cutting up a large table at 7am. Not ideal.
- Donna (10/5): - This was a very nice hotel. The rooms were lovely with all the amenities. I thoroughly enjoy my stay. I would stay there again
