• Nicole (1/5): The staff was nice and did refund my 2nd night without a problem, but had to go find another room and I was in town for - Location We had a non working toilet from the time we checked in had to sit in a small room with urine and feces I. The toilet for over 10 hours. It could not be fixed the next morning so I had to check out being no other rooms available and neither was maintenance

• Jennifer (8/5): - Had everything we needed for a quick overnight stop. If you’re a light sleeper, noise from other units might be bothersome. Recommend staying on second level so no one is above you. Clean and comfortable and felt safe.

• nicholas (2/5): Owner only cares about money - When i showed up at 2 pm to see if i could check in , the owner told me i could not check in until 3pm. The parking lot was empty except for 3 vehicles and posted check out time is 11am. I asked if i could check in early, he said it would cost me $20.i looked at him and " said this place is empty, why would i waste $20... ill come back" I returned at 3pm he checked me into a room that hadnt yet been cleaned. So i went and ran some errands , since i had my key now i figured Id come back.in a bit. I returned at 4pm and my room still wasnt ready for me. The pictures make the room look a lot more modern but when i finally was allowed into my room the dresser was some 20-40yr old wooden dresser. The bathroom tile is atleast 35 years old and the vanity sink had a crack in it. Very disappointed in the service and the overall property
• Nicole (4/5): DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE UNLESS YOU’LL BE OUTSIDE. - The desk staff was nice, easy check in and out. I was informed that the room I booked was no longer available and was given a similar room. The images and reviews online do not accurately depict my room and experience. We arrived later at night, around 10pm for sleep and to continue our travels. We were exhausted. To be honest, I did not want to remove my shoes or sit on any surface that wasn’t wood or plastic. On the surface, the room didn’t look too dirty, just rundown. The tub was stained, we did not use it. The sink bowl was cracked. The pillows on the bed were flat and the mattress was not very comfortable. We could hear the upstairs occupants walking on the floor, dropping things. Someone outside was playing music and the Caltrain was heard. We noticed door cracks. However, the icing on the cake was when we were awakened by constant car beeping at 3am in the parking lot, which then led to 2 people yelling and cursing outside their room on the property until closer to 4am. Unclear what came out of it, but we definitely did not feel safe in the room. Once we were able to finally get back to sleep, which took a while, we woke up around 10am. We slept in our clothes, then noticed stains on the flat sheet facing down on the underside of the comforter…that we slept on!!! We took images and video of the entire room/contents as past reviews indicate they were falsely accused of damage or theft. Needless to say, this was the worst hotel experience of my life.

• David Shaw (10/5): Best Bed Award - By far the most comfortable and luxurious bed of any property in its price range I have ever stayed at. The king sized mattress, half dozen pillows, and comforter were all generous and soft.

• Y9343TM_ (2/5): Worst hotel service I’ve experienced - I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. My friend and I booked a room together, but the reservation was made under his name. I arrived at the hotel before him and explained to the front desk that my friend would arrive later, and he had asked me to check in ahead of time since we were traveling in separate cars. Despite this, they refused to check me in — even after I provided the name under the reservation and explained the situation. I then asked if I could use the restroom while I waited. They said there was no restroom available. As a result, I had to sit in my car for over an hour at night, waiting for my friend to arrive just so we could get into our room. Two days later, I returned to the hotel and tried to open the room with my key card — it wouldn’t work, likely because it had been demagnetized. My friend was at work, so I went to the front desk, told them my room number, showed my ID, and explained that I was staying in the room booked under my friend’s name. Again, they refused to help. They told me I wasn’t listed in the reservation and wouldn’t issue me a new key, leaving me locked out of my own room. Once again, I had to wait outside in my car until my friend could return and let me in. This level of service is unacceptable. I understand the need for security, but in both situations, there was more than enough information to verify who I was and allow access. Instead, I was treated with indifference and inflexibility. I do not recommend this hotel — especially if you’re traveling with a group or arriving separately. Be prepared to be locked out, denied access to basic facilities, and left waiting in your car — even late at night.
• Victoria (2/5): - At 10:00pm as we landed in SF after a long day of travel, o got a call from the property stating" Your reservation is canceled, because there aren't any rooms available." I am sorry, isn't it the point of a pre paid reservation? I tell you I will be there on a certain day and you have a room available? Especially when i pay for the room up front. I my many years of travel, domestically and internationally i never had this happen. TRAVELLERS BEWARE!

Instead, it had something that looked like a blackboard, but with literal black paper - so I did not risk writing on it (and there was no chalk). Can hear cars driving constantly. Hotel is run down. Lamp shad was dirty. Floors were dirty. Table was dirty. Shower looked dirty. Very disappointed. We ended up leaving and not staying the night. We went to another hotel. We asked for a refund but we were told there’s no refunds even though we weren’t in the room for more than 5 minutes. There are plenty of better hotels in the surrounding area. Don’t go here.

• Linda (6/5): Choose another, if you can - Sink was falling off the wall, poorly maintained. Sheets and bed linens appeared to be clean...this is about the best I can say about this place.
• ZackVieira (2/5): FRAUD WARNING. - FRAUD WARNING. This was hands down the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The cheap price and last minute availability hooked us in—but getting settled in, my girlfriend noticed an infestation of tiny bugs in the tub. We were freaked out but we were exhausted and it was late in the evening. We checked the bed for bedbugs and didn't find any. Too tired to make a big deal about it, and assuming we 'get what we pay for,' we decided just to ignore it. Around noon the next day (having ched out that morning), we noticed we'd been charged the $50 deposit, plus an extra $150. We both called and spoke with the manager, and he said there was a scratch in the TV and missing picture frames. These were both ridiculous claims—as we never touched the TV and only an crazy person would want their wall decor. We told him we would pursue a fraud claim, which we did, but the bank wouldn't purdue the full amount, and we are still waiting to learn the outcome. BOTTOM LINE, I would avoid this hotel like the plague. My girlfriend and I have a saying about each place we stay—"well at least this isn't the LiA HOTEL!"
• Sonja (8/5): - This was our first time here (visits to Stanford Medical). We chose this hotel because it was $100 cheaper than the place we normally stay. It was very basic but suited our needs.

• Julie (6/5): Good location but not too clean - I found this hotel on a travel website. The location was great with easy walking to food, entertainment and shopping. The beds and bathroom were clean, but the floors are filthy. The floors appear to be linoleum and had not been mopped with a clean mop. My room had a kitchenette, but the table had something dried on it. I had to buy disinfectant wipes to wipe the table and floors off. It was a disappointment for sure. The parking lot was also full on a Friday night, and we had to create our own parking spot one evening. I was not happy with the security as the deadbolt on the door was all that kept the door secured and could easily be breached. The lack of cleanliness and security would prevent me from staying again.
