• Ryan (9/5): Great location. Comfortable to chill in. - The location is fantastic, and our room was very clean and tidy, with a private shower. There was also a nice balcony to sit at, where you can work on your laptop. It was very quiet, despite being in a party neighbourhood. The room is quite small for two people, but the bed was still comfortable.

• sae (6/5): - この辺りをよく知ってる人以外だと、たどり着くまでの道が複雑かと思いますが、ホンデの賑わったエリアからの立地もよく、ある程度清潔に保たれていました。カカオトークなどでもすぐに対応してくれたり、あらゆるところに案内の貼り紙があったりと、ゲストに対する丁寧な姿勢が感じられました。 備品がほとんどなく、持参したもののみで過ごしました。タオルやアメニティなどはもう少し分かりやすくたくさん用意してくれるとありがたいかなと思います。それからすぐ近くが居酒屋？クラブ？のため、午前4時ごろまでとにかく賑やかでした。

• Brigette (9/5): Great location and value money - Location is fantastic. The staff were super responsive. Everything was clean. The shower design was not great - there's not a lot of air circulation so it can smell a bit musty and the toilet and toilet paper was wet. This might be because there are limited hours when the staff are on site to explain the facilities. There was also need for some maintenance (door knobs, shower heads rusty).
• James (6/5): Just a place to sleep and store your belongings - If you’re thinking about coming to the Hongdae area to venture, shop and just be outside most of the day this isn’t a bad choice. It’s difficult to communicate to the people running the guest house as they don’t respond right away. There was a time where I had to hurry back to the guest house and they had changed the pass code( as they do every Monday) but I wasn’t informed about it and I had 2 more days left in my stay. I only got the notification hours later for the new password. I’ve bumped into other occupants that were stuck outside for an unknown amount of time because they too didn’t receive check-in information on time. Check-in and out process was by yourself, you really just come and go when it’s your time and don’t notify anyone. Space was quite cramped, it can get loud at night since night clubs are right outside but are only a problem on Friday and Saturday nights. It’s not luxurious and it really is just a place to sleep. So if you’re looking for something very comfortable with many amenities and services dont come here. If you just need a place to stay while you explore Seoul and you can live without the bells, whistles and space then this isn’t a bad choice. There is also 3 full flights of stairs before you get to the front door so be warned.

• Keiichi (3/5): - 立地 朝までずっと近くのクラブもしくはバーの音楽がうるさくて、安眠はできないです。あと、案内されたWi-Fiが全く使えず、余計にeSIMの代金がかかりました。 チェックアウト後、預けていたスーツケースを取りに戻りましたが、外のドアのパスワードが変更されていて、その案内もなかったので、中に入れず、外で10分ほど待たされました。リピートはしないです。
• Darina (6/5): - A few things to point out. We thought we had booked an en-suite with our private room. It was a shower- no toilet, still had to use the communal toilet. The accommodation only had hand towels, no full body towels- I appreciate this is a cultural thing but there was no option given to guests. Yes the streets around the building are noisy- didn’t bother us as much as we were up really early and gone for 15 hours most days and would pass out after the day. There is no elevator so be prepared to carry your bag up a few flights. Room was very small. We didn’t meet any staff members while we were there- a bit odd? Our communication was through what’s app. The booking has guest house- I thought it was like a bed and breakfast but in actual fact it’s a hostel.

Big common space Simple breakfast provided (bread with jam, juice and hot drink) Computer to use in the common space Cosmetics and towels provided Close the to bus station and Sangsu station A lot of shower rooms Air Conditioning The club outside is REALLY loud and it plays music until early morning - seriously prepare earplugs if you want to sleep, hostel doesn’t provide them (would be nice if they did) There are 3 flights of stairs to get into the property, so it’s difficult to get there with heavy luggages. Beds are very hard and uncomfortable and room quite small for 2 people with luggages. Laundry is quite expensive - 5k for one run of laundry and 5k for drying and you can only use the machines when staff works - between 11am-6pm - let’s be honest, tourists are outside during those hours. There is a locked cupboard for shoes, during wet season they get their own aura. Linens were not changes for 2 weeks of our stay
• Phillip (2/5): - This guesthouse is located in the middle of several nightclubs that blasted music until 5am. This was not mentioned in the property description and the room was not soundproofed! We booked for three nights but had no choice but to find other accommodation after a sleepless night. Unless you are into clubbing and plan to go to bed at 5am this is not the place for you! The beds are also rock hard!

• Bettine (6/5): Nice location and great service! - The staff was very nice and the facilities were clean. It was reeking of mold, like the smell in the room was so bad. I had to have the aircon on all the time. There is also not a private bathroom, it’s shared. The bed was also rock hard, I saw another review saying it was hard but I didn’t really believe it but there’s no mattress, just a matress cover on a cheap spring bed. Also there’s no black out curtains so if you like sleeping in, you’ll have to bring eye mask.

• Gregory (2/5): - This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hostel. When I walked in, the attendant looked me up and down with clear disdain, then immediately berated me to “be quiet” — before I had even said a single word. Apparently, there was a “very important guest” staying there, and regular paying customers like me were treated like a nuisance. It was an incredibly rude and unprofessional way to welcome someone. I will never stay here again, and I strongly advise others to avoid it too.
• Madison (2/5): - Don’t stay here unless you are fine with music blasting 24/7 and dogs barking all night. I ended up leaving early and only staying 1 out of 3 nights. The bar(?) underneath the hostel has loud music going nonstop (no joke, it did not turn off or quieter at all) and it is located right beside a dog cafe where the dogs are barking constantly. And the bed was hard as a rock. I’m not sure if it is different on weekdays, but in the morning, there was an abundance of trash and throw up on the streets. The only positive aspect of this place was the gentleman at the front desk who was very friendly and helpful.

• Damian (1/5): Disappointing - The room was filthy and had a mouldy smell and was poorly maintained. Place was old and run down in general with one single toilet shared among two floors of both men and women. I had booked the place for 2 nights (and 1 night at the end of my trip) but after the first night, I left. I paid a fairly high price for this "hotel" and was sorely disappointed by the condition it was in. I would highly recommend topping up a little bit more to get a place that is ten times more comfortable than this.

• Martin (2/5): Not really recommended if you're planning to stay inside the building. Not fresh and smells bad. - Good location if you like to be close to young areas and party. Even though it's cheap, you don't get what you pay for. The smell of the room was disgusting, we couldn't use the A/C so we had to sleep with the window open. So we slept in a disco, the sound from the clubs stopped at 4 in the morning. We also talked to the people working there, but they didn't listened.
• Verified traveler (8/5): 比較的に低価格だけど、キレイで必要充分な宿 - 弘大でのライブに行った際泊まりました。 スタッフの方は親切で親しみ易かったです。 部屋は広くは有りませんが、寝泊まりするには充分でした。 駅からは少し歩きますが、駅までの道は飲食店、雑貨店、衣料店が並んでいて飽きることなく歩けます。 宿の近辺は飲み屋街、クラブ街で夜はうるさいと言えばそうなのですが活気があって自分は寝れない程うるさくは無かったです。 またソウルに行く時は泊まりたいなと思ってます。 バスタオルはないです。シャワーにはシャンプーとボディソープ有ります。 歯ブラシはないです。ドライヤーは部屋に有りました。 部屋のコンセントはSEタイプでした。
• Christoph (8/5): Very good - Nice, central in a good and lively area, good value for money. The music from the bars outside can be heard loudly past midnight, so if you are a light sleeper this can be good to be aware of.

• Oliwia (4/5): Disappointing - Good location for experiencing party scene in Seoul. Close to public transport. The guesthouse is located in a very busy area with loud music playing until early hours in the morning every day. This is great if you want to enjoy the party scene but bear in mind the property is not actually soundproofed and the music is very disturbing when trying to sleep. While you can use the kitchen to make food, the complimentary breakfast is quite underwhelming as it is just bread and jam.
• Brittany (7/5): It does the job for a place to lay your head! - The room was very basic but clean and shower room was large. We were most worried about the sound from the neighboring bars but honestly that was not an issue at all. It was no where near as loud as you'd think. Just be aware that the party does go on till 7 am on the weekends. If you want to be in the heart of Hongdae bars, restaurants and shopping. Then this is the place. Also really close to heaps of transport options. The bed was extremely hard. We were used to a hard bed by this point in our trip but this one was really hard! The aircon was not as good as i would have hoped. The towels are also not bath towels so just be aware of that if you haven't brought your own!

• Danielle (9/5): Great location near Hongdae, close to subway and bus stops. Clean guesthouse with respectful hosts. - The guesthouse is conveniently located near the vibrant Hongdae Shopping District. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest subway station and just a 5-minute walk to the closest bus stop, making it easy to explore the city. The area is bustling with a wide variety of restaurants and bars, offering plenty of dining and nightlife options. However, it's worth noting that the guesthouse is in a lively part of town, which might not be ideal for those who prefer quieter environments. Despite the busy surroundings, my stay was comfortable. The room and common areas were impeccably clean, even with many guests coming and going. Everyone adhered to the house rules, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere. The complimentary breakfast was also a delightful perk. The only downside I noticed was the lack of an elevator, making the stairs a bit of a challenge for carrying luggage. Installing a dumbwaiter for luggage would be a great improvement.
• NAIYU (8/5): 住宿體驗 - 隔音較沒那麼好，隔壁關門聲都能聽得見，弘大夜生活太熱鬧，戴上耳塞仍會聽到吵雜的聲音，喜歡寧靜的可能需要考慮一下。

• William (2/5): Terrible beds and loud music all night - The "beds" were more like boards and were incredibly uncomfortable. Destroyed my back. Plus, its in the nightclub district so there was loud dance music playing until 4am. Probably the worst hostel I've stayed at.

• Olivia (7/5): Safe place to stay for a solo female traveller - I liked the location, very safe and clean. The staff was very nice and I could leave my luggage there and pick it up later, which I found very nice of them. It is a nice place to stay and for me, as a solo female traveller, the most important is to stay in a safe place and I felt super safe, inside and in the streets too. I had a single room and the room was too small with no table to put my stuff. Be aware, there are nightclubs around , so there is very loud music until 4am, sometimes 7am... it is very very loud, it is difficult to sleep. The mattress was very hard.

• HO YAN (6/5): - Breakfast is too simple, the twin room needs share the bathroom and toilet. The number of toilets won’t be enough to serve the guests when they are full house.
• Hallbera (8/5): Very good guest house. - It was clean, good service, very safe with automatic door locks and codes, quiet. Only thing I give a minus, was noise during the night from bars and disco's close by - but all in all a lovely guesthouse for an affordable price.
• Mark (8/5): Very good - The communication was excellent from Alex, the host, leading up to my stay. And he was super helpful overall -- even spending a while helping me figure out some public transportation challenges when I checked in. On the one hand, the location is excellent if you're interested to explore Hongdae -- it's right there on the main road, walking distance from key bus stops and subway stations. However, the downside of that it is right in the midst of the nightlife (literally on top of a nightclub). I could hear loud music in my room all night long.

• Lorna (1/5): No no no - The location was good. Good lord, I've stayed in hostels and guest houses all over and this place is really icky. Sticky floors, stained walls, really loud, smelly bathrooms, lame white bread/jam/instant coffee only breakfast. The beds were shockingly hard with no actual sheets. You are given a hand towel only so good luck with that. The place seems like a fire trap as well.
• Justin (3/5): Not worth it - Nothing They told me I could check in until 9pm, we were messaging through this app, I told them where I was. I got there at 8pm and they had left. They said, well you were the last person to check in and you booked the room in the afternoon (not sure why either of these are relevant). So I needed to send them photos of my passport over whatsapp to be able to check in. The private room, despite saying it had a private bathroom, had no toilet. The room also backed right onto a club that played music until 3am, which I understand for a place in Hongdae, but for the price, was nowhere near worth that. The mattress was the worst I've slept on in Korea
• Max (6/5): Under förväntan - Läget är bra för att komma nära staden och främst de mer ungdomliga distrikten. Däremot så hade vi högre förväntningar, både baserat på priset samt tidigare omdömen. Sängen var väldigt obekväm, rummen var väldigt slitna och toaletterna inte särskilt rena.
