• Kim (7/5): - No bells and whistles but very convenient for a late flight and getting to the rail depot early the next morning. Breakfast was surprisingly substantial and opened earlier for those taking the early train. On the smaller side if you had more than one suitcase to open but they describe their rooms and sizes well when booking so no surprises

• David (5/5): The best option for the price. - We had chosen this hotel for its price, the fact that it offered a free shuttle service and its proximity to a local bus service. Our pick-up and check-in was a very unique experience. Our room was motel style and was clean and comfortable. The included breakfast had a few options (including fresh fruit) that you took back to your room. We did have difficulty contacting the hotel directly to arrange for shuttle pickup, but that was a connectivity issue. We were lucky to be placed on the side away from the airport, as it was a bit noisy.

• Lindsey (8/5): Convenient option with nice staff and helpful airport shuttle! - The included breakfast is great, and that combined with the free airport shuttle and the proximity to the grocery store makes this place a better deal than most other Fairbanks options at this price point. If they have rooms available to give free upgrades, they do, which is really wonderful. The beds are a bit soft for my taste and the shower water doesn't get real hot.

Never heard our neighbors and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Great little free breakfast in the lobby and close to the airport. Will be staying again!👍

They accommodated us getting in early. We had 2 stays. 1st stay: First room, couldn’t lock the door so we had to move. 2nd stay, construction in adjoining room started at 8am, and then on and off until checkout. No coffee machines, but I think they had coffee in lobby all day. No real dresser drawers. The owner and staff were attentive and good humored.

• Beverly (6/5): Very helpful with proximity to the airport. Perfect for a late arrival into Fairbanks. - Appreciated their timely shuttle service too and from the airport. Staff was very friendly. And their breakfast buffet really had everything you could want for a continental breakfast. Thank you. I think our room was one that hadn't been updated yet, so there were a few things needing updating. But I think most rooms wouldn't be this way. It needed weatherstripping under the front door.

• John (8/5): Golden North was a perfect shelter from the storm. - We came into Fairbanks at 1:00 am on a thirty below spell. My neighbor told me there was waste deep snow in the driveway. We booked at Golden North rather than trying to swim the 100 meters through the snow that night. Golden North is very close to the airport and provided shelter from the storm. The room was small but warm and comfortable. It is a short walk to Fred Meyers so we were able to shop for food before we got a ride home and begin blowing out the snow. Oh, the continental breakfast had fresh bagels and buns, oranges and bananas and lots of coffee! The room was tiny but we managed to get good sleep after a long day of traveling.
• Aoi (7/5): 良い - 氷点下30℃前後の日に泊まったが、空港に近く、送迎サービスがあり、朝食もついてのお値段としてはかなり良心的に感じた。朝食は簡易なもので、フロント前のイートインスペースで、マフィンやベーグル、ヨーグルト、チーズ、ゆで卵、ジャム、お茶やコーヒーなどがあった。部屋も大変暖かく、浴槽もあり、暖まれる。 室内の設備としてはテレビ、電子レンジ、冷蔵庫、暖房、トイレ、浴槽、タオル、シャンプー、コンディショナー、ボディソープ、プラスチックのカップなどがある。 送迎サービスの利用を伝えたのが当日だったこともあり、シャトルの空港到着が多少遅れたため、送迎依頼は早めにするのがおすすめ。 1番困ったのはドライヤーが部屋になく、フロントに取りに行く仕様なのだが、部屋からフロントは室外を移動するため、極寒の中1分でも取りに行くのがはばかられた。 テレビは使い方が悪かったのか、チャンネルが1つだけで他に回せなかった。 湯沸かしポットは無い。

• Lindsey (9/5): Great value and friendly option near Fairbanks airport - I missed the free breakfast but really appreciated the 24/7 coffee and tea. The room was spacious and comfortable. But the best parts of this place were (1) THE STAFF--they were incredibly friendly and professional, especially Felicia!, and (2) The easy proximity to the airport (with free shuttle pick-up/drop-off!) and Fred Meyer's in walking distance. I would absolutely stay here again! The bed was a bit soft and the covers were not thick enough for the weather; I had to take the comforter off the other bed to double-up on mine!

Given the circumstances, the Golden North Inn, more than met my expectations. The room was quite small and extremely cold when I checked in. It did heat up after a few hours.

• Jessica (9/5): Good - Me gustó que tenían el transporte gratis al aeropuerto eso le facilita mucho a uno el desplazo, además que el personal fue muy amable a pesar que no hablamos del todo inglés eso no fue un impedimento para que nos ayudaran y resolvieran nuestras dudas. Hubieron 2 días que no nos cambiaron las sábanas ni tendieron la cama solo sacaron la basura pero el muchacho de servicio es muy amable seguro fue que se le olvidó

• Sofia Tkd (10/5): Great place close to the airport. - It is really close to the airport, though it is not noisy. There is a 0-24 reception, it was easy to check-in after midnight. Staff were nice. Breakfast is okay. Room was clean. The furniture is not the newest, but still was okay.

Not for me… I had to get something last minute as my flight was delayed. Same price as a nicer hotel less than a mile away-wasn’t available for that night.

Bed was comfortable. Pillows were comfortable. Allowed us to store luggage and one room wow we visited Fairbanks. Large step up into the room. Bathtub was a funny shape to stand in. The bathroom was dated. It was tight to put my suitcase on the suitcase, stand and walk around the bed. Check in personnel seemed to struggle with the check-in process. Was next to the airport and planes came in low over the hotel.

• Mary (8/5): Nice and friendly hotel - All the stuff are nice and very helpful, the rooms are spacious and well equipped, the walls need some work as the motel is very old but nothing too serious. Shops and big supermarket nearby and a very close ride to the airport. The airport shuttle was being serviced when i arrived but they paid the cab fair. The breakfast is simple but really nice, and the hot drinks are available 24h at reception. The facilities are pet friendly which is a huge plus for those travelling with their fair buddies and prices are reasonable. Overall good stay and highly recommended.

• SUGURU (10/5): I received the maximum support to make my solo trip to Alaska the best it could be. - The staff were very kind and readily accepted our requests. Although they weren't very good at English, they listened to what we wanted and responded sincerely. It was also nice that they provided free airport transfers and breakfast. The location, right next to Fred Meyer, was also great. It would have been great if the room was just a little more soundproof.
