• Linda (8/5): - The apartment was quaint and well appointed in the heart of Old Town Nice
• DIMITRIOS (2/5): - The management of this apartment is based on deceiving the public by its administrators. The apartment was completely different from what was shown in the photos on Expedia's website. It was extremely old, whereas in the pictures, we saw a stylish and fully renovated apartment. Additionally, it had many damages—broken furniture such as chairs and wardrobes—and even the electrical appliances were not functioning properly. While the Expedia website presented the apartment as having two fully equipped bathrooms (with several photos of both), in reality, it had only one. There was also a shower in one of the rooms, but without a door, ventilation, or of course, a second toilet!!! As a result, the room became extremely humid when the shower was used, and the entire bedroom smelled like sewage. Consequently, the five of us were forced to share one single toilet, clearly having been scammed. Not a single day did a cleaning service come by—not even to collect the wet towels or take out the trash. Furthermore, in order to get our deposit back, there was a written warning inside the apartment stating that we had to clean it ourselves before leaving!!! When we complained to the apartment manager, although he admitted we were right, no action was taken to fairly upgrade the apartment to match what we had booked. We were forced to rent an extra hotel room at our own additional expense to have a more comfortable vacation. In summary, the apartment was awful
• Birgitte (4/5): Sliten, men romslig leilighet i gamlebyen i Nice - Fin beliggenhet, men mye støy fra gatene, selv med lukkede vinduer. Synlige tegn etter lekkasje i flere av rommene. Synlig muggsopp og rotten lukt på badet på grunn av manglende ventilasjon. Kaffetrakter og oppvaskmaskin manglet til tross for at vi ble lovet dette. Romslig stue med store vinduer, men likevel lite lys.

• David (4/5): - • We were surprised that there would be a cleaning fee on top of the fee for staying. This is highly unusual for a hotel. The extra fee really ought to be advertised ahead of time more clearly. • The place had virtually no daylight! There were 2 large windows, but only to a narrow shaft with building on all sides (approximately 3x3 meters and approximately 4 stories high). These windows were darkened with a reflective film, making it even darker. • The bedroom door was so low that we could not walk into and out of the bedroom without having to bend down significantly. The door frame was only 175 tall. • Several restaurants or other businesses right under the apartment removed trash or other containers or items with A LOT of loud, metallic scraping and clanking every morning between approximately 4 and 6 am. • The bedroom was so small that one person had to literally crawl into and out of bed. We are not as agile as we used to be. We enclose pictures. • There was dried menstrual or other blood on the comforter, which did not have a comfoter cover. There were also blood-like stains and other stains on the two sofa pillows. • The location address is just the front desk, which is an office. Our unit/room was a few minutes walk away. • The TV looked new, but we could not find any English language stations. • As a couple, it was inconvenient to only get one set of keys. • The apartment was nicely renovated with new fridge, washing machine, and coffee maker.
• Natalia (2/5): - This is what we call “false advertising” the pictures don’t match with the real quality of this property. This place is nothing but disgusting. Once we got to the “studio”, no AC, broken shower, the towels full of small hair like someone shaved and then cleaned with it. Well, we were The “bed” is not a bed… it’s a rustic-hard sofa that is converted into a “bed”… After complaining the concierge said: I’ll send someone to fix it TOMORROW. You must pay a cleaning fee of $50 USD but you must take the garbage at whatever address… so why you are asked to pay this fee? The concierges said it was because of the category we paid for: studio. Well, the quality of a property doesn’t have anything to do with the number of rooms. I never would have rented it if I know since the beginning this is what we were paying for. Once you confirm and pay this reservation they tell you that they assign your place upon availability. Of course we had to leave and pay for another place, no shower, no AC, dirty towels full of hairs, enough reasons to leave on top of the other ones explained already. This place didn’t provide us with what the description says nor the basic needs as they offer. There’s no way we can sleep in a place like this. And on top of that it was my husband’s birthday which had a terrible day because of it. Not recommended. I would choose 0 stars but there’s no option.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - This was a great location, and a historical stay, which I loved. Unfortunately, I felt very disrespected by the hotel. They came into our apartment where we were staying without telling us. We asked for more toilet paper and they could have delivered it then as we were always out and did not have time to stop by the office. The pillows and bed were uncomfortable and 2 out of the 5 appliances did not work. The furniture was worn out and dirty. Also the shower had issues. We dealt with everything and made the most of it, but I am truly disappointed in the way we were treated. We should have received another room that had the working amenities offered.
• Mary-Jane (6/5): - To the start, the customer service wasn’t that great, the day we landed, we were searching for our hotel since there are many locations but in close proximity to each other, we couldn’t get in our apartment and had to walk all the way to the service centre to later find out that we have been moved to a different location.. as we arrived the bed sheets were dirty and had stains on them, it was extremely small not meant for 2 people, the ac doesn’t travel to the bedroom, there were no curtains so no privacy… and it was noisy, they barely refilled our toilet paper unless we repeatedly asked, the toilet has no ventilation for if your using warm to hot water, only a window which is blocked by the building, many other problems, overall wouldn’t stay here unless you want to be in the heart of old nice!
• Madison (2/5): - We had a mouse in our room the entire stay and no hot water for days until they were able to assist with that. Staff was not very helpful and there was trash outside our room for days before we brought it to their attention and they finally removed it.
• Natalie (6/5): - This property was not as advertised. We had to go to multiple locations just to get the keys and then get to the apartment. The apartment was much smaller than advertised and did not come with the specified amenities. Only half a roll of toilet paper was provided to 2 girls for 4 nights. There were several stains on the chairs and bed which made this place seem unclean. We were also expected to clean the entire place prior to leaving which was not clearly made aware to us during booking.
• Laura (6/5): - The location of this property is fantastic- in the heart of old town and a 2 min walk to the water front. That said, it’s very loud into the early hours of the morning which makes sleeping challenging. The main living space has AC but the bedroom doors need to be left open to get air into the rooms which does not help with dampening the noise while sleeping. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need. The floors felt like they hadn’t been swept and the beds are very uncomfortable. If you have difficulty with stairs, this property is not for you. We loved that the property had a washing machine!
• Daniel (2/5): - I stayed at this property in July 2024. We arrived and picked up the keys to our apartment around 6pm. We then walked to the apartment and unlocked the door to the apartment. When we attempted to open the door, the door handle fell off! We were unable to enter the apartment. There was and still is no contact number after 6pm to contact the reception! I swiftly ran to the office to see if anyone could help, but they had shut by this point. I was left with no other option but to spend a night in a hotel nearby. I went to the reception the day after, and they apologised and fixed the door handle. I was told that I would get a refund for the 1 night stay and they were sorting this out with Expedia. The apartment was ok in itself. A small apartment, very steep staircase to get up with luggage. The apartment had the basics that you need however the air conditioning was very loud! After checking out on the final day and not receiving a refund for the first night, the reception staff said that I have to contact Expedia myself. I am now home, and still not received my refund. I have contacted Expedia directly who have said they have tried multiple times to contact the property and they have declined the 1 night refund on multiple attempts. Expedia have told me there is nothing else that they can do as the property has declined my refund. I am therefore writing this review to warn people of how deceitful this property is and to not book with them. I feel really let down by them :(

• Aaron (6/5): - We had to change properties after the first night as the air conditioning unit in our first place was broken. Otherwise, the property was beautiful and well equipped. The second property had working air conditioning, but was not quite as nice. The bed was hard as a rock. The location of both properties in the Old Town was great. Everything was walkable. I also want to give a should out to the property manager for being responsive and able to move us because of the air conditioning issue.

The check in experience was extremely frustrating. Checking in is in Cours Saleya with a very short daytime window- the staff was really unhelpful and rude. The address on the booking site is also misleading.

• Angela (8/5): - The apartment was roomy. One of the three rooms was down below and didn't have any windows and had a slight old smell but super private. First time walking in the stairway was a bit interesting and looked like a breezeway was built between two buildings, ie a lot of electrical wires hanging down. I would still stay here again because it was a great location.

• Andrew (8/5): Very good but has a downside - Mainly positive but a couple of minor moans. Good stuff first. Super clean, very comfy bed, enough kitchen equipment for basic cooking, a couple of coffee makers, nice chairs and tables, nicely laid out bathroom with sufficient towels. A big airy room with 2 big opening windows. Very secure feel to the whole block of flats, and a great central location. If only it had been a few floors lower. There are 70, yep, seven zero stair steps to get to your flat and no lift. It's utterly exhausting! Because it's central and the old city is a vibrant buzzing place, it's a bit noisy at weekends, with music from nearby bars. There are wooden shutters outside the double glazed windows, but only light diffusing curtains, so it's not really dark unless the sky is pitch black. The shower attachment was broken, so you have to hold the shower head in your hand. That's a shame cos it's a lovely big shower. Minimal shower gel, coffee, etc. would have been nice to have some tea bags, a small milk, a bit more gel. Just little things that you're forced into buying quickly before the shops shut. Ultimately it's a great 'one room does all' appartment for a few days in an outstanding city. No frills and with a little tlc would get 5 stars. However, the strength sapping stairs would prevent us from returning. It's about 5 times as many as in a regular house. Not good after a meal with drinks.

• Markus (8/5): - Great and convenient location. Close to the hustle and bustle, but not in the middle of it. The Bar was pretty good for a quick stop when heading out or coming back, and was always well visited. The room was clean but very small- however, that was fine for us! Tons of restaurants and pubs nearby and all the sights and sounds are easily walkable.

• Leonel (2/5): No recomendado - La ubicación no es la que aparece aca. Esa es una oficina donde te dan las llaves a un apartamento en Centre Ville. A nosotros nos toco lejos de la playa. El acceso al apartamento es terrible una escalera de 1 mt de ancho y 3 níveles para arriba en piso liso y polvoriento. Que de milagro no te matas. No digamos si llevas equipaje grande y pesado. No te ayudan a subir ni a bajar las maletas. No te llevan al apartamento para entregarlo. Solo te dan las llaves suerte si lo encuentras. Encima tiene uno que bajar de nuevo a dejarles las llaves. El baño era pequeñísimo, el sanitario a penas si podias poner las piernas de frente super incómodo. Si tienes una emergencia de noche o algo no hay quien te ayude. Entiendo que son casas viejas restauradas pero podrian poner una advertencia o minimo ayudarte.

• Kayla (10/5): - This was the best apartment for our holiday in Nice! The location is central and easy to find. The ApartHotel people were so kind when our stay was changed due to delayed flights. They were helpful and so kind. The dining and shopping in the area is excellent! There's a small grocery just around the corner, and everything in Old Town is a 5 minute walk away!
• Charlotte (2/5): - Location was great however the sink and shower were blocked from the previous people and when we asked for help to fix it they said yes then never did anything. The owner is also yet to return my 300 euro deposit… which I will be following up however I am extremely unimpressed.
• Julia (6/5): - Das Appartement liegt sehr zentral in der Altstadt von Nizza und nur einige Gehminuten vom Strand sowie des Büros mit der Rezeption. Es gibt sehr viele Restaurants in der direkten Umgebung. Die Straße ist relativ ruhig, leider waren die Gäste in den anderen Appartements im Haus sehr laut. Es waren mehrere Gruppen jüngerer Gäste im Haus, die auch nachts keine Rücksicht auf andere Gäste genommen haben. Gruppen sind sowohl nachts um 3:00 vom Feiern zurück gekehrt und haben dabei laut durchs Treppenhaus gerufen und es wurde auch nachts laut Musik in den Appartments gespielt. Das Appartement hatte nur Fenster zu einem Schacht, letztendlich Blick auf eine Hauswand ca. 1,5 Meter entfernt, so dass man kaum Tageslicht sehen konnte. In der Beschreibung war angegeben, das Appartement hätte Blick über die Stadt. Die Ausstattung war gut, es gab alle Geräte, die für das tägliche Leben hilfreich sind. Allerdings gab es einige Stellen mit Renovierungsbedarf (abgeblätterter Putz, mit Klebeband fixierte lose Bodenleisten). Der Empfang an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich, schneller Service.

Min uppfattning av bilderna jag såg så skulle byggnaden vara placerad framför havet , -Vi fick tyvärr någon byggnad flera kvarteret in mot staden , sedan var det flera trappor upp vilket var jobbigt utan hiss . Interiört (Behövs renoveras) soffan och annat hade massa fett och cigarrette fläckar , Såg en del silverfiskar på Golvet också , ganska ofräscht. Helt okey lägenhet.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Apartment is located in the old city. Very close to the promenade and to the city beach. That's great, undoubtedly. It is furnished rather good and you have nearly everything needed. However, there are some traces of wear and long term usage. Nevertheless, the top communication, friendliness and responsiveness from the owner smooth out those minor nuances. Altough, the cleaning fee is very exaggerated 45 EUR. To my opinion it is too high, especially, considering that you must leave the apartment absolutely clean (to wash all dishes, to sort all towels and rubbish, to make your bad and so on, etc. ), otherwise you are not in compliance with the rental rules and your safaty deposit will be charged. I don't know how this place is quite enough, as there is a night bar in front of the house. And thanks to the night curfew it was closed. Otherwise it would be impossible to sleep, as the building is old and the noise isolation is extremely bad. You hear all your neighbours and all people in the street passing by.

Você só tem até 18 horas para pegar a chave, e cheguei as 17:59 porque meu voô atrasou ela não foi mostrar a acomodação e nem mostrar como abria o apartamento, não escutou o que eu estava pedindo, e ainda o apartamento que locamos não foi igual as fotos da apresentação do quarto. I was not very happy about having to strip the beds and wash the floors (told to me after I booked or expect a charge). Yes I leave every hotel or apartment room acceptable before I leave but I think washing the floors and stripping the bedding a bit over the top

At night the streets were loud and the windows were not soundproofed. Kinda needed them open to cool the place down, but couldnt because of noise (bars are hopping from 12a-3a there). So it got kinda stuffy at night. Also we had to buy tpilet paper as 1.5 roles they provided was not enough for 4 nights and 4pp. Last we had to clean it ourselves or pay 78€ for last day housekeeping.

• helen (2/5): Avoid Apart Hotel Riviera Apartments - Old Town - Avoid this place, it's not an aparthotel, there is no reception, you are met on the street, the paint is falling off the walls, there are holes in the ceiling, the bedroom in our apartment is inaccessible without climbing a really steep, dangerous ladder into a space that is less than a metre high Nobody answers the phome at so-called 'reception' and if they do they are rude amd unhelpful. We had booked and paid for 3 nights but had to leave after one night as we could not access the bedroom and they refused to help or refund us our money
• Darren (8/5): - The good Air conditioning was excellent. Apartment quite clean Good location Good fridge, freezer, cooker. The bad 6 flights up stairs but I did know this before booking. One bedroom had no shutter over window so light got in easily. All rooms had low ceilings in parts meaning I had to crouch at times to get around. Banged my head hard twice when standing, forgetting the low beams. No bin anywhere! Shower very poor pressure - limescale in shower head If it weren't for the shower,I may well stay again but I like a powerful shower, not a drip, and for that reason I wouldn't stay here again.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Excellent location - Excellent location -apartment was spacious, but the floors and bathroom were not cleaned before our arrival. Also the bed was uncomfortable. I love the history and old buildings, but will be more discerning when choosing my next holiday in Nice.
