- Siosaia Hefa (10/5): Love the property - Clean n safe
- Dominique (6/5): I’m giving it a 6 because the owner honestly was the best part but probably won’t be staying here again - The owner was very nice and i like that the rooms had microwaves and fridges and a closet The location feels unsafe, property is lit up well but there was hair in the bedding, hair in the towels, the floors were dirty, the pillows and beds were uncomfortable and there was a cigarette but in the window and the microwave was dirty
- Lesila (10/5): I love the place - Was good and safe
- Lesila (10/5): I’m interested - Was good and safe

- Alicia (10/5): -
- Amy (6/5): Great for a quick overnight stay - Proximity to the area we were visiting, near Land Park for reunion I needed an extra blanket on the bed. The sheet and top sheet wasn’t enough to keep me warm.
- Michael B (7/5): -
- OBED (9/5): - The location was Great. Could of been more pillows.
- Nhi (9/5): this is my first time here, the manager is very friendly, the room is very clean, a room with basic amenities as on the -
- Wendy (6/5): Need blanket or comforter for winter please. - Value motel similar to remodeled Motel 6.
Vinyl wood floor a bonus. It’s December, 40 degrees out, no blanket or comforter on bed. I was very cold & had to use bath towels as blankets. Heater & refrigerator made loud noises & had to turn off & unplug.
- Tyjai (5/5): Heater didn't work in my room - Nothing Everything
- Leah (7/5): Nothing fancy, but great value when you just need a place to sleep. - good value for money in a really convenient location for our family wedding. Very friendly, personable and responsive family who run the place. They responded promptly to every request/need we had. we stayed in a room with a kitchenette—full size fridge and 2 stovetop burners. My mother stayed in a regular room which actually had a microwave, which ours didn't have. That would have been useful. Also, beds didn't have blankets as the default but we got them asap when we asked for them.
- Adrian (10/5): - I dropped my vehicle off at the mechanic early that morning. I did not like that I had to wait after 11:00 in order to get a room.
- schisler (7/5): - The staff was excellent. The pillows were too flat.
- Gloria (10/5): - Staff was friendly, the room was clean... no smoke smell!!! Nothing...
- Djsmith (10/5): - It was quiet peaceful and comfortable. Nothing

- Raigan (7/5): Good -
- Bradford (7/5): Good -
- josiah (10/5): - Everything was fine. The bed was a little uncomfortable
- Gykk (3/5): Poor - Adequate parking Outrageously noisy heater unit, dim ceiling light, no lamps, no blanket or bedding of any kind for warmth, unlined wastebasket that looked dirty. The bathroom window was closed but unlocked. Thankfully I checked it and locked it but It made me question my security. Booking.com said it had frig and microwave and it neither. A bare bones hotel greatly overrated on Booking.com.
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional - Great Service
Very helpful guy at the reception We go the bigger room
- Cathy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (7/5): Good - Stay was good Bed was stiff, room had an odor and could have been swept cleaner
- Samuel (10/5): I would stay here again if I have to visit Downtown Sacramento. - Property was clean and conveniently located next to gas station, grocery store and food. Nick was such a good guy and got me checked in. I liked everything.

- Lor (7/5): Not as expected - The staff was very nice and friendly. Check-in was easy. There was plenty of parking. We rented 2 rooms with double beds. One room had a kitchenette and refrigerator, while the other room had no microwave or refrigerator. We paid the same price for both rooms.
- Luong (8/5): Very good -
- Dewayne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (7/5): Good - would like a paid invoice
- Cezary (9/5): Superb - Big room with huge TV.
- Spencer (8/5): Very good - Clean, nice interior, very friendly and helpful staff. All in all nicer than I expected from such a small motel Only two pillows in the room, and they weren't the comfiest. Some thicker pillows and a thicker comforter would be nice, but overall a great room
- Ronny (10/5): Exceptional -
- Myisha (8/5): Very good -
- Ashley (10/5): Very comfortable and felt safe perfect location - Staff was absolutely amazing and so nice. The rooms have all been remodled and everything was clean and nice. Definitely would stay again.
- Beniamin (10/5): very good location.room for reasonable price.and very friendly personnel. -
- Rochelle (7/5): Good -
- Smith (7/5): Comfy -
- Kirk (8/5): Very good -
- Sheyenne (9/5): wonderful stay at an affordable hidden oasis !! - Quiet, peaceful, REALLY GREAT FOR THE PRICE !!! big TVs, comfy beds, easy to get to, and the staff was really nice and accommodating ! this place is really a hidden gem ! and don’t get me started on how beautiful the airport looks at night ! only have 2 complaints: AC was too high, had to climb on a chair to adjust it, and the bathroom was really small
- Thuan (10/5): Overall, I had a great stay at the motel and can’t wait to see how the renovations turn out! - I really liked that the rooms were spacious and even had a large sink in the corner, which was super convenient. The carpet was spotless, and the shower faucet had really good pressure—definitely a plus after a long day (we arrived at 2AM). We stayed on the ground floor, which made getting in and out a breeze. Plus, the owner mentioned they’re remodeling the entire place, starting on the second floor, so if the ground floor rooms are already this nice, I can’t wait to see how amazing they’ll be once everything is done! It wasn’t a huge deal, but the parking lot felt a bit crowded with all the remodeling going on.
- Sebastian (1/5): Bad -
- Brunner (8/5): Very good -
- Sukh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charles (1/5): Good price but you get what you pay for - The price was the only thing good about it It was extremely dirty. There was half dead cockroaches on the floor and there was bed bugs. I seriously wish I could attach pictures of how nasty it was. I was only there for a couple of hours before I seen the vast amount of bugs. The staff was really nice besides giving me a refund.
- Chiu (8/5): Very good - It is close to many restaurants and shops.
- Karen (7/5): a good basic hotel - The attendant was very nice, although it is weird not to be able to go into the office. The room was clean and the shower was big. The bed could have been a bit softer, and there was no coffee or breakfast, pool etc.
- Frances (7/5): Good - Location was convenient, staff was nice. Pillows were flat, only 2 in the room, I had to go to the ampm for ice. The price of the room was a bit high,
- Amberlee37 (8/5): Amber - Nice staff, kinda cheap. Quiet and private. Location far out. Everybody's nosy.
- aj (8/5): - The staff was polite and accommodating.
I felt safe.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - rooms need iron and board. and maybe include a continental breakfst
- FormerCustomer (4/5): - There are no ironing boards. Of course I came there for a funeral and I needed my cloths ironed. The toilet seat was cracked and was not replaced. There was no garbage bucket. I thought the price was decent and the cleanliness of the place is decent for the price that we paid.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Too late to turn away... - The location of the hotel provided convenient access to freeways, shopping and entertainment. The staff was friendly and check in went off without a hitch. Some demolition/remodeling to one of the rooms was taking place, and for some reason the crew found it unnecessary to leave the remnants just outside the room in a parking space. Outside of flooring, Sheetrock and expired furniture sitting there in a massive heap, I can honestly say the property bore a peaceful energy. Upon entering the room, I found myself greeted with near hellish temperatures that almost reached triple digits. Turning on the walled a/c unit and leaving the unit for 2 hours made little impact on its condition. The room itself was clean, yet sparsely furnished. The mattress rigid, but the linen was fresh. The television required a magnifying glass, but there was Direct TV. Overall, the room did the job for a one night stay. If you're seeking comfort, please look elsewhere...
- Jeffrey (8/5): Far from the action - Nice enough, but I selected the best price without knowing the city, and all the money I had to spend on taxis made it expensive.
- Damian (2/5): Worst place ever - We found crack in our room. Drug deals and hookers everywhere
- temeka (8/5): - Its an old place with old amenities. The people are nice. The beds are not so comfortable but what the room lacks in comfort it makes up for in space and good Wi-Fi!
- GeekStick (8/5): Remodeled Room was Nice. - The motel was going through some renovations and remodeling, it looks like the owners are working hard to attract good clientele. The room I stayed in had nice laminate floors and granite counter tops. The bathroom was newly remodeled as well with a tile shower and floor and a granite sink. The only thing that was a little annoying was that there was an automatic light in the bathroom so I was blinded when I got up in the middle of the night. It is next to the Executive Airport so there was some Jet noise in the early morning but that did not bother me as I am an early riser. From what I understand not all the rooms have been remolded so call in direct to the hotel and ask for a remodeled room.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is an older motel with no modern conveniences but it was cleaned each day with fresh towels and the bed was made daily even though we spent six nights there. We will definitely return in the future on our next visit to our son.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The new owners are working hard to make it better - Cleaning up the rift-raft
- MustafaKocer (2/5): So dirty and pricey - If you stay in this motel you will be into the horror movie i am not joking.First everything is very old in the room i know this is just motel but even should be even clean.I saw bloodstain by side of the bad i was stayed there just 5 hour i couldn't more and by the way this motel pricey and it doesn't deserve it.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Raze It - The hotel rooms were undergoing renovation and the pool was under construction. Building supplies blocked parking access. It should be razed and rebuilt. People smoking outside the rooms.
- Sherry (6/5): No Complaints - I thought I booked a room near the airport we flew in to, but this is near a different airport and 17 miles away from the one we landed at! Owner of motel called me on my cell phone to see if we were still wanting our room which we had reserved. I thought that was odd since it was only 7 p.m. We said yes we would be there by 8.
- kristina (8/5): Great hotel on a budget - Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Solo getaway - I like it because it's close to the freeway[I-5]...locationwise. I like the walk in bathroom, but it is too small for a 6ft 250lb broad guy like me.
Hotel service not good enough, I called the office that my tv isn't working and the lady said...sorry I cannot do anything about it...really, what kind of service is that. They should have a tech support guy on call. I didn't enjoyed my stay because I was not able to watch my tv program.
- Avery (2/5): Dont stay here - This place was a dump. A lot of drugs being used in the rooms surrounding us, and in the parking lot in front of our room, to the point that our children were nervous that there was a fire. A lot of racial slurs being hurled loudly as well. I should've slept in my car that night instead of staying at this dump.
- Jonbushmarie2 (8/5): Thanksgiving weekend - I stayed here on thanksgiving weekend because its close to my parents house in south land park we made reservations for a 2 bed non smoking room 1 week prior to our stay the desk clerk/motel manager Nash checked us in and gave us room 122 the room looked like it had been remodeled recently since it had new carpet and new paint everything worked fine in the room and they even brought us extra towels when we asked...the only thing I didn't like was they didn't have a public computer for the guest to use and didn't have coffee makers in the room
- honestlyyourstruly (6/5): Ask about special rates and check the room. - We were displaced and chose this place because it's close to my son's school.
The first room we were given was horrendously filthy. We were gonna try to deal with it, but our feet were black by the end of the day.
The second room was a lil cleaner, but the swamp cooler in the closet didn't work. The management was kind enough to lend us a fan.
The next room we stayed in had a finicky microwave that beeped like crazy and a constantly plugged toilet. The management was kind enough to loan us a plunger.
Tips:
NO POOL AVAILABLE!
The internet was ok, but the cable was very choppy.
The bed covers smell and there's no blankets.
Ask about special pricing, (cuz when you're paying full price and you can see the receipts of everyone else paying cheaper.. it might not settle well.)
Paying the weekly rate opts you out of towels, toilet paper, and cleaning service.
The pizza from Chicago Pizza down The block is really good for the price.
Oh yeah -on our last day they started charging for local calls.
- Ravender510 (8/5): New and improved - Been coming to sky riders motels for year and it has really changed in the past couple of years they have newly remodeled rooms for the same price they had before only thing that's missing is coffe or breakfast
- Val_1126 (2/5): "No Prostitution, No Drugs, No Hot-plates!!" - That's what the sign says in the front office when you go to check-in!
We were having mold remediation done on our rental unit and our landlord booked us here since it was so close. We asked for a 2-bed NON-smoking room. The door to our room looked as though it had been busted open in a police raid. We walked into the room,& instantly started to gag. It smelled like cigarettes & --!! The walls were yellow (not their natural color). The microwave was caked with grease, mini-fridge unplugged, & you have to flip the light switch to turn on the swamp-cooler.
The "pool" was flithy, with tons of "stuff" floating around, & stuck to the bottom.
From what information I gathered, the mostly UN-savory tenents are semi-permanent residents on public assistance (&drugs), and love to talk, yell, scream at all hours of the night on the stairs. (their hang-out spot)
I STRONGLY urge you to NEVER STAY HERE!!!
- lovecheap (8/5): Money spent well - My house brun down in a fire and I stayed at the sky rider motel. I was here for bout two weeks. And my stay was great, the staff was nice and kind, the room was clean and no bugs. They are cheap and clean. They may not have all the latest equipment but it was nice stay
- BnThrDnTht (4/5): Could be worse? - The good: the sheets were clean, there weren't any bedbugs, there was daily room service, the desk staff was friendly and kind. The heater/air conditioner worked, as did the television. The bed wasn't bad. It's cheap.
The bad: apparently, some folks who have Section 8 (or "transitional") housing live there, and they treat the hotel as if it were their home. Some of them (or their guests) can be loud and they rarely seem to sleep - my brother's room was under one of theirs, and they were restlessly thumpy all night. A few of them, or their friends, tend to hang around all the time, and that can get a bit worrisome. The walls of the hotel are thin in any case, and so when I took out my ear plugs this morning I could hear: -a conversation in an adjacent room; -a couple enjoying each other's company; -a discussion out on the balcony between a semi-permanent resident and her son? nephew? who then threatened me when I suggested they take it inside; -various other coming and goings. BRING EAR PLUGS. When I used them, then I was only woken two or three times in the night.
So, to sum up: it's a cheap hotel. You get what you pay for.
