- I (10/5): - Friendly staff, full bar and restaurant. Room was very clean and smelled fresh. Bed was very comfortable. I transport fisherman up to the the different outfitters up that way from time to time. If its late in the evening or i have clients to pick-up in the morning, ill just stay the night. This is my first time at the balmer and i will definitely be stay again in the near future.
- Mohammad (2/5): - The place is stinky. I am not sure if the stink is from mould or not. I had no electricity in my room and few other rooms for a major portion of the evening and night. Staff did not care. The restaurant staff was unorofessional and did not know how to greet a customer.

- Gary (8/5): Will stay again - I’ve stayed here many times while in town for business. I prefer the annex rooms as it seems quieter at night. Maybe a bit more attention to cleaning in the corners and behind the desks and sofas is needed. But it is still a great place to stay. Good food too.
