The facilities were clean and the location ideal for tours to nearby cities. The hostess arranged for our transportation from and to the airport. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié le petit déjeuner (fruits délicieux, gâteau fait maison...), la propreté impeccable de la chambre et de l'ensemble des espaces communs, la literie qui nous a assuré un sommeil d'excellente qualité. Et surtout, nous avons apprécié les échanges avec nos hôtes, Ivano et Roberta, qui nous ont très bien accueillis et conseillés. Our breakfasts were great- fruit, pastries, rice & beans, cheese, ham & eggs cooked to order. Roberta and her husband are a fount of information for the area saved us from what would likely have been a long driving tour because we didn't understand the distances involved! Our room was cleaned each day and we appreciated the refrigerator. This hotel was a great value for us - there wasn't anything I didn't like.

The hotel is close to everything you need in the beautiful Cahuita national park. We saw more wildlife here than probably the rest combined! Pool was great in the afternoon once returning from walking and the breakfast was lovely too. They even insisted on making us a takeaway breakfast as our transport was leaving early. We loved the walkways to the rooms and having a little seating area was great for a beer while my daughter went off to sleep.

It’s secure, you receive a key to access the property after regular hours. It’s walking distance to everything. Good breakfast with lots of fruit and eggs made to order.

They served a nice plate of fresh fruits, nice bakery products and then, eggs an bacon. :-) Good way to start the day. They also offer a safe parking. The location is right down town. There are nice resto and bar around with Caribbean music, just next door. It stopped at 9 pm, so noting to keep you awake all night. The beach is around 10 minutes by walk. I recommend la Casa de las Flores. Nothing.

• Nabad (10/5): Top Notch, Affordable Price - Outstanding! What a relief to find this stay after a traumatizing Friday stay in PV! Service and welcome was above average, along with cleanliness. A beautiful garden and a small swimming pool along with loving local touches. For example, the art is all created locally or in CR. Other thoughtful features such as an aromatherapy oil tea light burner, pretty entrance rugs, and nice smelling liquid soap added to this positive stay. The wifi was reliable and fast, and they even have a small library of books with titles such as "Florula del Parque Nacional Cahuita", and "A History of Costa Rica" that I was able to use in my research paper. The towels were crisp and clean. The bidet lends a European flair to this perfectly situated location, one block from the National Park, about one hundred feet from Mepe bus terminal, and two doors down from a restaurant that featured live authentic Calypso music. The exterior art around the central interior is bright and beautiful. To top it off, they are ecoconscious and recycle and compost. Roberta made this stay extraordinary and I will always come back to this place when in Cahuita. Top notch, a home away from home. Everything was perfect. There is nothing I would change.

I had a snorkeling incident and they went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable as I was limping. They helped me move to a ground floor room, personally offered to pick up and drop off, and even arranged a last minute private shuttle to SJO at a very short notice. The property is very well located in Cahuita, a small breezy town. Everyone speaks English.

And when we mentioned that we needed to leave early in the morning they offered to make breakfast early. The air conditioner took most of the night to cool the room.

• X3089JXmarinad (10/5): Perfect hotel! - This is the nicest place you can stay in Cahuita and for a very good price. The rooms were so comfortable and clear, with AC, beach and bath towels, an espresso maker, very comfortable beds, shampoo, a hair dryer - everything you could need! The owner and all the staff were SO kind and accommodating, giving us local recommendations etc. They even drove us to a restaurant to pick up a water bottle we lost l! They were amazing. Breakfast was delicious and the pool was very nice. Many good restaurants less than a five min walk away and a five min walk to the National park entrance and Beach. We walked around the entirety of the National park and then were able to get a taxi back to our hotel for just 1000 colones (there is a taxi service right at the park exit run by a friend of the hotel owner’s). We highly recommend this hotel and wish we could stay longer!

This small hotel is located in center of town a half block from the Main Street- so a little quieter, but still close to everything; short walking distance to the National Park. The owner / manager makes you feel like one of the family. Rooms face into the garden. Breakfast- fresh rolls and light pastry, eggs, bacon or cheese. Loved everything

Rooms are big ( i had 2 double beds ) and clean and rooms cleaned daily . Breakfast is excellent - varied and plentiful … fresh fruit , warm rolls and pastries and eggs , bacon . Coffee , tea , water available FOC all day. I was travelling solo and was perfect for me. My airport transfer was 6.30 am and was really appreciative that Roberta made me a packed lunch for the trip and waved me off. A real gem . Would definitely recommend and stay here again

The owner is so friendly and helpful. I requested for a taxi and there wasn't any available at that time so she dropped me off and picke me up instead. Such a wonderful gesture.

We really enjoyed this spot- the hosts Roberta and her spouse were so helpful and friendly, it was clean and comfortable, walking distance to local beach, national park, and restaurants. Breakfast was tasty with amazing fresh fruit. They also assisted with local tours which was helpful. Room had a toilet + bidet and a balcony.
